Easily one of the best restaurants in Santo Domingo to taste Japanese food. It catches my attention that it is inside the hotel, but that makes parking easier. Curious hours, when I went they closed at 3. The rolls are different and original, they have good flavor. The place is quiet and the waiters are attentive. You can talk. The bar is attractive and there are all kinds of drinks, so you can just go to drink. I liked it quite a bit 🍣

The second best sushi in Santo Domingo after Samurai. Located in the first floor of Intercontinental hotel. 43 piece sashimi plate was good. The price was affordable compared to Samurai. The atmosphere and service were top notch.

Just had a set of 40 pieces of what was probably the worst sashimi in my life( Poorly defrosted (soaking), tasteless and - "adding insult to injury" - surimi (crab sticks) counting as seafood... Beautiful presentation and terrible ingredients. Sorry, Nau...

The best in oriental in SD

This place is where you find perfection made food. Excellent presentation, flavor, aroma. The ingredients are quality and each bite is an explosion of flavor on the palate. The service is first class and the atmosphere surrounds you and motivates you to enjoy each dish you choose. They have an extensive menu to cover all tastes.

This was the best sushi experience I've ever had in my life. The cost was around $110 for a multi course meal that left us perfectly but not overly full and multiple imported Japanese beers. Its not super cheap but there are lots of affordable options on the menu and I've paid $80-$100 at other places and had mediocre or mediocre-goosd experiences but everything from the location to the service to the quality of the food was so on point it was worth every penny. Also, to be clear the price was both worth it and would have been MUCH higher if this location were in another city. An NYC or San Francisco sushi experience like this would have been minimum $200-$250 I would definitely go here again.

Very nice cozy place in an excellent location inside the first floor of Hotel Intercontinental. I have tried sushi in bigger and fancier restaurants in Santo Domingo but always get sick, average or poor service and high prices. This is by far the best sushi in Santo Domingo, very fresh and diverse. Great service and atmosphere. Is not cheap but is worth the price...

I always stay at the Real Intercontinental and eat here every night. The sushi is exceptional! I love the Sashi and they do a special roll with foie gras which is divine! The staff are super and always give 100%. Thank you team

Excellent products, dinner, dishes and service.

The service was good, but the food tasted mediocre. The dumplings were overfried. The sushi tasted bland and the rice dry. The fried banana for dessert was wanting in flavor. I wouldn't go back. AÀ as we ÀÀ

The selection of Sushi is quite appealing and service is really good. Try it. I'm sure you'll like it. I'm quite picky and demanding when it comes to my food. I cook, therefore I know how good should be cookies and that's the key to knowing what a restaurant is all about.

I would say it's probably the best sushi in town. It's pricey but worth every penny. An innovative menu will leave you wanting to return to try everything on it!

Great sushi, maybe needs more variety

Updated January 15th I went back and obviously had the salmon fly again. This time we tried the Nau Special Combination. It was a bargain for the price. It is hard to find fresh sea food at this prices in town. December 29th The salmon fly and the sushi bruschetta were my favorite plates. I was surprised to find fresh fish and high quality food in this restaurant. One of my friends who’s been to many asian countries said she thought the food at Nau was very similar to the one she had in Japan in her most recent trip.

A good place if you are looking to eat Asian food. Good attention. Pleasant atmosphere and good food to share with family and friends.
