I had the most incredible experience on my trip to Saona Island with Sunset Caribbean tour operators. From start to finish, it was a truly memorable adventure. The tour guide, Alex, was the highlight of the day. He made the journey informative and entertaining. The Catamaran ride to Saona Island was amazing. Once we arrived, the pristine white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters took my breath away and the included lunch was delicious. Saona Island is a paradise, and Sunset Caribbean tour operators, along with Alex as our guide, made it a day to remember. I can't recommend this tour enough. It's a must-do for anyone visiting the Dominican Republic.

I booked this company because our airport transfer from Santo Domingo to Punta Cana airport did not show up, and they were a life saver!!! Our transportation was arranged very quickly. Our driver was exceptional. He called us to let us know he was on the way, and he was so nice and attentive. The ride to the airport was very smooth. The vehicle was clean, spacious and comfortable. Totally recommend if you need any transportation in Dominican Republic 😊 Service is 10/10

We used Sunset Caribbean for one of our group trips to Santo Domingo. Overall their ground services were great. One of my clients had an issue with their hotel and they were also able to assist us in resolving the issue. Highly recommend this company.

It’s almost 11pm the day before the trip I booked from a week ago and I haven’t received any information regarding pickup and how to contact the tour guide. I could not get in touch with anyone although I’ve tried all forms of contact. I’m very disappointed by the lack of communication, and the tour itself is not cheap at all. I have limited time in DR and my time is being wasted on worrying about whether the tour is still going on and if I would need to make alternative plans in case they completely forgot about me (even though I ALREADY PAID). I’ve never had this problem with any other tour operators. This is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful

Fantastic trip to Saona from start to finish! Alex our guide did an awesome job in creating a great energy amongst the group! We had so much fun and ended up singing along to spanish musik for 3 hours on our way home! One of the highlights of my trip in DR!!!

A day filled with activities and memorable moments

My fiancé and I did the Dune Buggie Excursion and had a wonderful time. Our driver Alex was great. He was very polite, and knowledgeable. He also spoke English and Spanish so their was not a language barrier and he was able to explain things to us when we had questions. He also greeted us with snacks and water for our long drive from Santo Domingo to Punta Cana. We stopped midway at a store / Cafe for a bathroom/ snack break which was nice to be able to get out and stretch our legs. The store is nice and if you forgot to bring something like sunblock, water shoes, towels ect they have it all. The Dune Buggies were very fun and the beach was beautiful. We were advised not to swim because the waves were rough on the day we went, but we were able to get in knee deep. I definitely recommend bringing water shoes, sunglasses, towel and a bandana. You will be glad you have them when speeding down the dirt/ mud roads in your Dune Buggies.

Alex was an EXCELLENT guide and super helpful. He was knowledgeable, conversational, and helped us gain a greater understanding of not only our area but various aspects of Dominican culture as well. He was a very safe and efficient driver. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This was great. Alex my tour guide contacted me the day before the tour, arrived on time and really looked after me. So knowledgeable and gave me good tips on everything Dominican Republic.

Okay, so first of all, I am HIGHLY recommending this company to any and every one. If I could rate them 10/5 stars I would. That’s how great they were. From the beginning, the communication was quick and clear. They worked with me throughout every step, ensuring that everything was planned according to how I wanted it to be (thanks, Breidy). The excursion I wanted wasn’t listed on TripAdvisor, so I had to go through the company and order it. Once again, communication was great. I was very pleased. Now for the actual excursion: I stayed in Santo Domingo, and I wanted to see Puerto Plata, so that was the tour I chose for me and my mom. Y’all. I’ve been on multiple excursions in multiple different countries similar to this, and I’ve NEVER had this much fun. We rode the cable car, visited the Amber museum, and a few other things. In addition, we ate GOOD. Our tour guide, Alex, made it super fun for us. It’s a bit of a drive, but he explained to us dominican culture and some funny stuff about the island, as well as the music choice was excellent lol. He made the excursión that much more fun. When I say we laughed the entire time, me and my mom laughed the ENTIRE time. This review is already kind of long so I’ll wrap it up with this: when I return to DR in a few weeks, I WILL be booking them again. I feel as if I’ve gotten more than my moneys worth.
