An outstanding culinary experience! The veal and sausage appetizer with ricotta and pomodoro is great. The shrimp and grapefruit salad is delightful. The chicken and mushroom crepe fantastic.

Allez bistrot is the best French restaurant in Santo Domingo, featuring constantly changing special dishes and an exquisite menu. The wine list features the best wines from all local importers. They initially had a restricted wine list due to an agreement with a major importer but have recently declined to renew that agreement and opened their wine list. The result is a superior wine list where you do not have to bring in your own wine. But if you decide to bring a special bottle they will also open it for you with a small corking fee. Nice atmosphere, we came early 6h30 to avoid the crowd This is basically the only French restaurant left in the city. Food was great, with the goat cheese with citrus accent on toasted bread as an entree. The magnioc (yuca) with Parmesan cheese was really good. I enjoyed the steak au poivre (pepper steaks with small potatoes on side) Toasted bread should not be left in oven more the 3mn and apple pie (tarte in French) could use real piecea of apples instead of a marmelade. But outside of that, food, wine selection and aperitif were very good. You won't be disappointed. I recently visited this French restaurant that I had been to before, but this time it was in a new location. The new place was bigger and had better parking, which was a plus, but unfortunately, it was quite noisy inside. Despite the noise, the food was still amazing! I highly recommend trying the escargots and the prawns - they were both delicious. If you're looking for a tasty French meal, this restaurant definitely delivers.

As a high hipe rest as i heard of this place, I was not impressed, I have eaten in french restaurants in many US cities and in Paris, so the hipe is a fluke in my opinion. The menu could be more french authentic and extensive to fit the hipe.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! Order the shrimp cafe de Paris and the gnocchi. For appetizers, the chorizo dates are a must. Warm and inviting restaurant, great service and amazing food!
