Got the candy sampler. Low rating is because you can find these items at many other places. The only thing special was the sampler. And many of the sampler pieces were redundant. I expected made in house candy. Seems to just be a retailer.

This is the place to get your sweets in the city of Santo Domingo! There is an endless variety of products from many different manufacturers. They also carry some popular spirits (Brugal, Barceló, etc.) and a few souvenirs so that it becomes a one-stop shop!

One got to stop by when visiting Santo Domingo. There are samples for you to indulge in!!!! The atmosphere is great, all employees are so helpful and always smiling. They take local and foreign currencies and their prices are so affordable! Their chicarron de leche is a must!

I had an extremely uncomfortable experience with a female employee on 8/15/23 in the afternoon. I enjoyed buying Souvenirs and Dominican treats at the store, but not anymore after this unpleasant experience. The employee was utterly disrespectful and displayed poor customer service skills. She called my brother arrogant, and when I boarded her about her poor customer service and unprofessionalism, she stated, “There isn’t nothing to speak about. I don’t want to hear it.” I requested to speak with the store manager, but she wasn’t around, and she did not seem to care. I will strongly suggest not visiting this store. When my family traveled to DR, we always visited this venue, but that will no longer be the case, and I will make sure word gets out.

This establishment has been selling homemade sweets and other delicacies for travelers. Is in the vicinity of Zona Colonia (Old City of Santo Domingo) Friendly attendants.

As far as traditional Dominicano "dulces" go (a "dulce" is "fudge", in English), they have a good selection including one or two that are more unusual. Prices are not bad. But for a shop specialising in a swèet or dessert product, I was disappointed to see most of the shop full of non-food items. Being deeply within old Santo Domingo, parking is difficult, at best but the biggest inconvenience is ghat tbey do not take crddit or debit cards. I found traditional drinking chocolate, hand-moulded into palm-sized lumps, the tradional and best way to have and store it; it's quite an unusual find nowadays.

My whole child I always use to get sweets from here and coming back here was seriously a dream I was super excited and just like that I got all my childhood memories all back.

I have finally found this place after looking for it for a while. This place contains all the dominican treats you can ever think of. But guess what? they also sell juicy dominican cheese either white or yellow, but I definetely recommend you taste the white cheese that comes in a form of a ball. Lastly, the service here is wonderful. Everyone is nice and helpful around the store. No cards just cash :)
