You can stay outside if you want, But the busy street is close and depending on the time of day, your conversation may be alittle tricky but if you go inside you will be greeted with a quaint little restaurant vibe; Not to out there where you feel under dressed but not too up there where you feel you need to change clothes🤣. The staff at the time was very attentive and although there is no actual English menu ( hope this changes🤞) the staff is pleasant enough to help decifer and recommend solid dishes. The background music varies through a wide variety of songs, Artists and music, so there's plenty to keep the atmosphere lively. So far they are open 24hr so drive by , stop by or order up and you will deffinately get some well made food.

Excellent service and delicious food. The staff was very attentive and had a great conversation with them. I had the bistec encebollado with grilled vegetables and it was a good size portion with very nice flavors and texture. Excellent. There is limited parking there, but there is parking.

The BEST American breakfast that I’ve had outside of the states. Great food and great service.

My favorite restaurant in Santo Domingo. Ive been dining here for 20 years and also enjoy their hotel. Its always a treat to see the owner dining with his family, hes a legend.

I visited this place for dinner, it is a nice restaurant, beautifully decorated. The attention was great and also the food. The only thing you should be aware of is that's the rice with shrimps only comes with 6 medium size shrimps so I think it was not worth the price, be aware of that. I also recommend to eat inside the restaurant, avoid the patio just because it's located on a street with a lot of traffic, noise and dust. Everything else was perfect. The mofongo was delicious and comes over a nice piece af wood as a decorative plate.

I do not understand where the 4stars come from. This place is clean, staff is great, and easy to get to. However, the food was just awful. I tried several dishes… Salpicón, Grilled Salmon, and even just a simple bowl of fruit. The fish was very poor quality hardly seasoned. The quality of seafood for the salpicon was also very low. The fruits they served weren’t even ripe to eat. Very overpriced and overrated for the quality of food they provide.

Food and drinks were really good. Staff was very nice.

Absolutely wonderful food. The chorizo, cerviche and lambing stew were phenomenal. The outside area at the front is relaxed and comfortable. Big TVs that would probably put a game on if you asked. Inside was much more formal and posh looking.

A great find out the back entrance of the Renaissance Hotel and Casino. The prices are good, the food is fresh, and the beers are cold. I had the Ceviche de Mero and two beers. What a beautiful way to spend the afternoon.

We had a parillada de mariscos, a grilled seafood plate. It was really delicious and a big portion for 2 persons. With drinks we paid about 45 dollars which was quite okay for that quality of food. The attention of the waiter was really outstanding. He gave us really good advices before we ordered the food. I can fully recommend the Restaurante Manolo!

Looks like any regular, outdoor café/bar. I had been there a couple of times: close to my home, decent food and an attentive staff. This particular hot day, the host asked if we preferred to go to the air conditioned indoor restaurant; what a pleasant surprise! A rather large, fancy restaurant, with an extensive, and tasty menu and a supper professional staff. A very good dining experiene.. will definitely go back.

I went to the Dominican Republic and I had a taste for good food. So I went to Monolo and it was worth trying to eat at Monolo. The food was delicious. I will go back there again and again.

This place has amazing food. Me and my wife went there. I had the salmon Al Manolo and my wife had the same with a white fish with creole sauce. 100% would recommend.

Open 24 hours per day. The pancakes are too thick, they need to be made thinner. The waffles have the wrong batter and are doughy. Stick to the Dominican cuisine but better prices are at Villar Hermanos.
