Absolutely beautiful! Make sure to take your water with you to stay hydrated. You will get thirsty walking in that heat.

Quiet place to have a picnic or take pictures and enjoy the area. Have a seat under the shade of trees by the little stream.

Beautiful and well-maintained, Japanese garden is definitely a place worthy of your visit. It is very peaceful and relaxing, we got there by train, and decided to stay a while, and walk back.

Really relaxing and beautiful place. There's a lot of space so you won't have to worry about social distancing. Only advice would be to bring some water, you have to walk a lot and its usually quite hot.

One of the most exceptionally well-manicured and thoughtfully-tended Japanese gardens outside of Japan. A pleasure to visit!!!

Very beautiful place. Well cared for. The Santo Domingo Botanical garden is s very special place and one of the places you need to go to when visiting the Dominican Republic and the Japanese Garden is the most special place in the park.

This is a place full of nature, located inside of Dominican National Botanic Garden, a natural environmental lung of 0.9 square miles. Typically ornamented as a Japanese garden style, with some accents of colorful bridges and gates to symbolizes pure japanese architecture. Here you will find a great micro-weather, regularly humidity about 75% depending on temperature, a big amount of green grass, terrain in hills ending into an artificial lake with ducks and turtles inside. Excellent place to breathe pure air with friends and family or even to have some pictures on special occasions or events such as 15/16th birthday, wedding sessions and so on.

Very beatifull landscape, authentic japanese gardens. Wish they treated the water on the ponds. Go early in the morning, its quite a walk and it can get hot. Its also very popular for wedding photo shoot so sometimes you will run into a few entourages. I suspect its a profit center......

Very special garden. I found the bamboo cathedral by accident 5 years ago which was a stunning experience. It's more exposed now with an obvious path, but still well worth taking some time to sit for a bit and feel the energy of the wind move through.
