Everything on the menu is good. The portions are quite generous so order wisely. Great as always!

One of the top spots in the Piantini Area for breakfast , Lunch or Dinner. My favorite dish is the Pulpo al Limoncello, the sweet and sour contrast on this Octopus dish is very creative and have a good taste. As a dessert they have a coconut cake with ice cream that is to die for. I do my best to eat there every time I am visiting Santo Domingo. Service is very goos

This is my first visit to join La Dolcerie for breakfast, cause I prefer Dinner time. La Dolcerie Restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants in my neighborhood that I would visit over and over. Went in to enjoy of a delicious gourmet breakfast and there was an expected traffic as usual being the fact that is an iconic restaurant in el Sector de Naco. Many servers and a bit distracted. The servers need to be more attentive to costumers in terms of timing to ask for the check or getting the orders from costumers, and willing to provide Menu information. My Salmon Toast was perfect, the Benedict Eggs are not yet mastered, the bread of Benedict Eggs was extremely mushy or wet like. It was not pleasing to my mouth. The overall experience was great.

Must go for Brunch! Great service and delicious food! They have enough staff to be attentive but still give you your space. Order the bottle of champagne instead of multiple rounds of mimosa! It will safe you money!

Excellent place to eat in Piantini. I had a good Dominican breakfast here and it was delicious.

Um, wow. Let’s talk about talented chefs and refreshing vibes! Every single thing i ordered tasted soo delicious- my friends and i ate all of our food to it’s last bite. We got the crispy rice salmon, orange chicken, penne vodka & lasagna which were all made to perfection with fitting portions. The space itself is Italian inspired, tasteful and picturesque. Great spot for families, a date or even work outing if you’re looking for quality food within euro vibes atmosphere.

The service was really good. The waiter was attentive. The food wasn’t that tasty. My husband ordered a pina colada and it was horrible.

Beautiful place and many servers available. Desserts are good. The hot chocolate I must say is delicious. I was disappointed with a ham and cheese sandwich I ordered and it came with ONE VERY THIN SLICE OF HAM 🤷‍♀️ with some cheese. Very poor sandwich. The texture of the bread was not good either. On a previous visit I had the salmon toast which tasted good but the bread was too toasted and was difficult to cut. Overall the ambience is really nice and the area is very nice too.

The food was good but I ate mangu y los tres golpes, hard to go wrong.

The place is nice I came like at 10 am on a Saturday and found parking immediately. The place was packed, we got an indoor table, the food was delicious and service really good and prices were also good, not that expensive but it was kind of loud for my taste and the music I would have preferred something more jazzy maybe

The restaurant was situated in a bustling part of town and boasted a large, open terrace that was perfect for people watching. The outdoor seating was comfortable and had plenty of space between tables, providing a relaxing atmosphere despite the city's noise , but unfortunately the food left a little to be desired. Despite the food, the ambiance and terrace made for a pleasant dining experience. I could see this being a great spot for a casual lunch or a relaxed evening out with friends. I would definitely return for the atmosphere alone, but would probably skip the food in favor of drinks and appetizers.

I do not speak Spanish, but everyone seems to be very kind, understanding, and helping accommodate me. The manager, the really tall guy, was super helpful and sat me in an area that was expecting an event, so I did not have a long wait. My server was nice. However, my order was not exactly as I wanted aside from that very nice, the service was friendly and fast and I would done again. My eggs benedict was overcooked, but bc I don't speak Spanish, I didn't want to continue using the Google Translate app and be annoying. It got the spot. I The iced coffee was really good, different from what I expected, but I was pressed for time, and they had an event they were setting up, so it was win-win. Side note. The restroom was so dang nice, i HAD to take a pic...

Delicious food desserts but the service was slow.

We have eaten at Dolcerie before, but this was our first visit for brunch. We were a group of five and had made a booking accordingly, only to find that although we arrived on time, no table was available. After a fairly frank exchange of views a table was quickly prepared and things ran smoothly from there on. The food was very good and my Bloody Mary certainly on of the strongest I have tasted. The service after the initial hiccup was also very good, I have deducted a point for the booking fiasco from what would have been an overall four.

Favorite brunch place in Santo Domingo! Just wish they served brunch for a longer time. Ambiance is beautiful, service is mostly good (it’s often busy and sometimes difficult to get the attention of staff), and most importantly the food is delicious. Always a safe bet.

The worst experience on my birthday! The waiters were not friendly at all and only waited on light skin people! After appetizers took 1 hr to be taken to our table I decided to ask for the bill and not order our dinner here and instead went to another restaurant! Horrible horrible service with no apology even after speaking to the manager he didn’t even acknowledge what I had to say! This is an example Of what discrimination is!

I like how the restaurant looks but they should have more variety of food and drinks, also the service can be better.

Food are presentable yet extremely salty… staff are sketchy, prejudice because wearing open sandal since just came from a long trip the waiter was putting us at the last table while restaurant empty and every waiter watching over and uncomfortable…..beware my watch was taken while dinning with the last location based on the GPS for four days was going back and forth to have staff continually promising into next week of a video…

Not good for a woman dining alone. Not sure why, but i've noticed a trend of waiters not paying much attention to you. The pros: flavors were good. Ingredients were high quality. The food was timely. Very nice atmosphere for small families, brunch friends and couples. Green juice. the cons: they didnt toast the bread in a croque madame, terribly doughy bite. No soups or salads for brunch, and absolutely nothing green to eat in the menu except for Avocado, which they claimed not to have when i arrived, but did have 20 minutes later for the table next to me. Waiter kindly explained that they went out to buy it in that time: also had run our of salmon, bacon. Nice atmosphere, but i'd only go for a coffee or a green juice.

Stumbled across this restaurant on a side street while staying at the Intercontinental Real Santo Domingo. The food and service was excellent. I had the shrimp risotto and my spouse had strip loin. BEST Food we've eaten since arriving in the DominicanRepublic. I also had Sangria Blanco...wonderful and topped the evening off with a slice of their coconut cake...to die for!! You won't be disappointed eating at this establishment! Bon Appétit!

This place is truly amazing. Came here for breakfast and was not disappointed with anything we ordered. The service is both fast and of high quality, the food was great tasting and very well presented. Will definitely be back on our next vacation.

Great experience! Good food, affordable prices, very nice ambiance. VERY FORMAL, business casual dress code. Pastas, meats, sushi, 2 choices of burger, 1 choice of sandwich, 3 choices of pizza. Greatly delicious desserts. Very nice staff.
