Sadly I can't recommend this restaurant at all. The place was empty which isn't a good sign , but after reading all the reviews we decided stay and give it a try. We asked for a table inside as it was air-conditioned. We've ordered the mixed grill (Parrillada for 4 persons) and the food was served within 5 minutes of our order and it wasn't fresh at all. The chicken was soo dry you couldn't cut through the skin easily with a steak knife. The chorizo was probably have been a left over and reheated. The corn on the cob was probably several weeks old. The list is endless. The sangria hasn't had any alcohol in it so it we didn't think that it was worth it @ 7200 pesos at all. The staff was friendly and that's all i can say for the place.

Great service and relaxed ambiance, food good but not great, beer exeptionally cold, a nice place to hang and relax. Great grill toasted bread with the green peppers house dressing.

Nice quiet spot.. eating outside is always a plus.. service and food was fast. Staff was friendly, food was good, the ribs where a bit tough and too sweet for me, but overall everything was well seasoned and cooked well.. on the pricey side, but still affordable

for me the best Restaurant in El Malecon, great service, prices are just and a variety of options in the menu, the food its excellent, it has more than 50 years open and it is still so because of the love the owner puts in it, i highly recommend this place!!

Never had a restaurant and the employees giving us such a bad feeling, that we are not welcomed and I dont get why? I really dont know how this restaurant has such a good review.. We were really disapointed. The service was super unfriendly to us from the get go... Even when I left a good tip he doesnt even looked at us, said nothing and went away.. And I also speak spanish! I really regret giving him even one peso. The quality of the steaks were not good and the price was way to much, even more then in europe or the US. Specialy if you are a foreigner stay away from this restaurant, I really dont get the good reviews here!

Food was perfect, staff was attentive and the atmosphere was comfortable. Prices were reasonable, we will definitely be back.

I saw the grill on the table and I HAD to eat here! The staff was amazing, the food was good... The pork chops and chicken were a little dry, but that's better than it being under cooked. Overall, I had a good experience. The waiter even let us use his speaker so we could listen to salsa while we ate!

I gave a 2 as the service was horrible. The waiter was the worst I had in many years of traveling. I'll never go back there even for free. The food was good, but super pricy.

We had an awesome meal here. We ordered drinks and the mixed BBQ for 2. The meat was cooked to perfection! The veggies were delicious 😋 we couldn't finish as it's a ton of food, but that meant we were able to enjoy it a second time! The beer is priced well -take note it is NOT priced on the menu. It was very cold. It's a little noisy outside as you are facing the malecon. However, you do have a pleasant ocean view! Our only disappointment was the wait staff. Although our waiter was very nice, friendly and helpful, we were required to find a waiter, interrupt them from using their cell phones to first place an order, then to order another round of drinks and finally to get the bill. (Yes, all 3 staff members were on their cells each time we needed something) With that said, the food was soooo good that we would eat here again, prepared to get our own drinks from behind the bar.

The food very medium 😪 The Tataki tuna fish was frozen in the inside. The salmon fish was no good quality. The rice and beans were really good.

Beautiful view of the ocean. Which you also smell if seated outside. If that bothers you, inside has the view, and A/C. Really tasty food, very friendly staff and the wait isn't bad at all. Eat here!

Excellent food and service

Had a great time here last night with friends and not crowded or busy but just perfect. We almost went to a nearby larger and busier spot which I had been to on a prior trip, but this was more in sync to what we were in the mood for as far as just having a quiet dinner without the wait, parking, etc. Great view of the Malecon and attentive but not overbearing service. The most important part is the food of course and I had the New York cut I believe it was 12 ounces and I can't tell you the last time I had a steak this good. If I am thinking about a meal I had the next day it's that good. I had it with fried potatoes and a local vegatable blend. Many other items to choose from such as pork, chicken and seafood. Also nice beer and wine selection but I always aim to drink the local beers and they were cold. Will definitely return on my next trip to Santo Domingo and highly recommend you try as well.

This was the BEST MEAL on the ISLAND! Had the 16oz flap steak (flank steak) with Chimichurri sauce… YUMMMMMM!!!!! And the MOJITO was the best I ever had too! I might have to order another steak, it is soooooo good!!!

Very good Argentinian bbq spot. Big portions so come hungry.

VERY EXPENSIVE and really not with it. The place was empty and the area is deserted on the malecon. The empanada was dry and flavorless. But it was big and filled with ground beef. My glass of wine came in a small glass and filled 1/3rd. The meat I ordered (vacío) was delicious, but it was a small piece. Service was just ok, no one really cared. Total bill 3000 pesos for just one person. A forgettable experience.

The best steak ever and the service was stellar and the view was to die for right across the beach and drinks refreshing and the parilla omg an entire grill literally comes on top of your table like your own bbq party for you and guest.

Amazing steak, yucca fries, white rice, habichuelas, lobster, tostones and postres! 10/10. Went for a second time and they gave me a free slice of cake (the postres) out of gratitude. Sits right on the emerald Caribbean Sea. Amazing service and atmosphere.

A nice restaurant with decent food close to the beach. Unfortunately there is a very heavy traffic that spoils the atmosphere in a otherwise nice surrounding. Good food and nice staff. Wonder why they let heavy traffic enter the beach boulevard?
