I was just walking around my neighborhood and hopped in for lunch @ Nipau! What a fantastic experience. Nipau raise up the standards of quality of the gastronomic emporium of Santo Domingo. The manager Alberto Cabrera was courteous, kind and welcomed me to enjoy a delicious meal. My choices were “Pulpo a la parrilla con yuca rota al mojo en salsa verde was outstanding & spicy chicken curry salad was fresh and that combination of honey,Dijon and curry was phenomenal. I ended my course with a delicious cappuccino. The Nipau restaurant is very elegant and has a nice ambient. The personnel (servers as well as the host) conduct themselves in a skillful and professional manner. The restaurant offers a great variety of non-alcoholic as well as alcoholic beverages. The bar is ample and open and enjoys of outdoor seating o terraza. They also have updated reservations service available. Nipau offers lunch and dinner with a schedule that runs from Monday to Sunday and on Sundays they close at 10:00 pm. Jose Tavarez politely answered my questions and served me diligently. I really recommend this Nipau restaurant for locals as well as tourist, its excellent food quality, I see Nipau growing as a blessing that adds up to Naco community that becomes part of the strongest economic polygon of Santo Domingo that increases and contributes providing & promotes jobs for many, it’s an umbrella under which many families are being taking care of as I perceived by the large team and staff members.

Best Mediterranean experience in the Dominican Republic, and with a really affordable price.

This restaurant located in the new area of ​​the city, in the Piantini sector, offers fusion food, an excellent atmosphere and contemporary decoration. It has an interior with AC and a small terrace for those who enjoy the outdoors. Almost every day he has live music and has a good variety of wines and semi-formal enviroment. My favorite dish is the Red Rissotto and the Spinach Dip entrees. It has parking limitations although it offers Valet Parking service and it is recommended to make reservation. Medium-high price.

We had several starters and main courses to share among our group of 6. The picanha meat sliced 16 oz. Was very tough and full of fibre, hard to cut. It did not taste like picanha. Very disappointing. The ossobucco risotto was great as were the spinach dip and the burrata.

Great selection on the menu. Presentation and taste is different and very delicious.

Really good food and good cocktails, it was a nice environment but make sure to get reservations. The main issue which was a deal breaker was that one of our plates was Grilled Octopus and it came completely cold as if it had been waiting for a while.

I don’t know if anyone will understand this, but I just finished the Chuletón and it was out of this WORLD. The smoke kissed pork was insanely tender. I would order another of I knew Spanish, hopefully you do and get this the next time you dine here. Staff extremely friendly to me; despite me fumbling with the language barrier.

Great place. The food is amazing. The service was very quick and courteous.

We ate here with family and really enjoyed everything about it. I got the pasta in camouflage entrée and it was incredible. I will definitely come back here the next time I'm in Santo Domingo.

Food is always on point. Once I had a problem with a male waiter, he came by many times, always forgetting the drinks.

I think nico the chef have magical hands because his creations are out of this world , certently you need to try this restaurant is the best in town.

The food was very good but even though the place was empty the service was so slow that we had to wait and call them to order or ask for the check. We had the Pato Confitado and Bacalao - both very good.

The best kept secret in the heart of the city! There’s no thing you’ll regret or complain about: the feeling, service, drinks and what to say about food, world class unique dishes, crafted by the Restaurant’s owner chefs themselves. There’s live music on fridays. The place is not too big, so you might not find a spot on peak times. Valet parking available.

These guys must be using something magical in their ingredients for lack of a better term, but o havent enjoy food this good in a long time, words cannot explain how good this experience was, the meat amazing and you must try the baked coliflower to die for.

Excellent food!! Red tuna with carrot purée was incredible! And the salmon with lentils also very nice… only thing negative is that the roasted vegetables were a little sad, not bad but not great..

Loved this place! Everything we ate was amazing, the food, the atmosphere, the service... We ordered the spinach dip, croquetas, "la pasta del otro dia", mushroom risotto, and the "pudín de pan" for dessert 🤤 simply delicious. 100% recommended.
