This was our favorite place to go each time we are in Santo Domingo. Unfortunately, during our last visit our credit card was copied and thanks God only 18.000 pesos (about 300 USD) were stolen before we realized the fraudulent transactions and blocked the card. I regret it a lot, but I would not recommend this place to all my friends and guests anymore.

I was staying downtown Santo Domingo, and I put brunch into Google Maps and saw that Julieta was only an 8 min walk from my hotel and saw the ratings and comments and decided to go. And I am glad I did. The food was good, and the service was excellent. I ate outside for the fresh air, and I enjoyed myself. Great brunch menus, and the food came quickly. I really like the servers that attended to us.

Great spot for breakfast. Fabulous restaurant decor. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was cooked very well and tasted very fresh. And the portions are very filling. Also you are getting really good prices.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Julieta Brasserie! The restaurant's prime location in a safe and upscale area, close to the mall, made it the perfect spot for any occasion. The breakfast options were fantastic, and the attentive staff provided top-notch service throughout my visit. Whether dining indoors or outdoors, the pleasant atmosphere added to the overall charm. I highly recommend Julieta Brasserie for a wide range of occasions, from birthdays and work lunches to romantic dinners. Plus, the availability of WiFi made it convenient, and the menu is perfect for both casual meals and special celebrations.

Service is slow. Too expensive for the overall experience. In the first five minutes I had a male staff member yell at me "Voltear el menú. No ese menú!"(flip the menu, that's not the menu). I went in the morning for breakfast and while the other where still choosing their food, I turned to back of the menu on piece of paper just to see... he didn't have to yell so rudely. The food isn't that great the bacon was so overcooked, the pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant) was burnt, and the croissant wasn't a croissant it was like a butter bread that was somewhat shaped like a croissant. Plus its quite intensely price and taxed. I mean a small mansion jar of lemonade half filled with ice is 330(+tax & Ley).

Amazing service. Very attentive. My simple breakfast was good. Perfect portion. The avocado itself was amazing, it was picked at the right exact time. Also the fact I was able to communicate without Spanish.

Looked so nice I ended up getting two items from the breakfast menu. Had the Julieta special which was some poached eggs on tomato slices, very tasty. Also had a croissant with poached eggs, avocado, think some cream cheese. The second item also has salmon on the menu, but I ordered without. Very nice breakfast treat

The food is exquisite the inconvenience was at the moment of paying it took rather too long and when I inquired about the delay the waitress explained that the cashier was at the bathroom. You must have a replacement for the cashier in those moments. It's like holding customers hostage, time is money but besides that little mishap the food was really good especially the shrimps with garlic

The food here is superb and the service fantastic. Better bring your translator though with you as hardly anyone speaks English. Prices are very reasonable and the food totally exceptional. You will not want to eat in the US again

Nice place and vibe. Good food. Unfortunately, the night we came, there was no pizza due to work at the oven. Prices are a bit high. Good service ✔️ Valet parking ✔️

While the food was undeniably fantastic, the service left much to be desired. Throughout our meal, there were numerous mistakes, from forgetting to bring bread to bringing the wrong side dish and even neglecting to serve one member of our group entirely. The pace of service was also disappointingly slow. Despite the delicious flavors, the poor service experience makes it unlikely that I'll be returning anytime soon. It's a shame that such excellent cuisine is overshadowed by subpar service.

Nice vibrant place. I came out during my trip to Santo Domingo. Had the most delicious Churrasco steak, with vegetables that I have ever had. Great music, dancing throughout, and definitely full of people having a great time. I was forgot to mention that the drinks were also excellent. Truly enjoyed my dinner here.

10/10. This place was amazing. The food was good. The service was above and beyond as well. I don’t speak spanish but my spouse does but they still gave us a waiter who speaks english which I like and thought was considerate

Had great expectations, but my order was forgotten. Then had to return my order because the brioche from my benedicts were hard and the hollandaise tasted like pure butter. I guess it was a busy morning.

Bacon, cheese, and onion omelet with pancakes all horrible. Worse and most expensive breakfast I've ever had. Basically a 1/4 of raw onion in the omelet. Pancakes were flat, heavy and not good at all. My friend asked for turkey bacon and got ham. They brought the turkey bacon out when we were ready to pay and leave. Wasn't crowded but the service was horrible. I don't think I'll return for anything else since the breakfast and service was so bad.

Nice casual fine restaurant, beautiful people, very good location. Good menu with plenty of options. From pizza, pasta, meat, fish and burgers. And there is a brunch menu. Very diversified. Service was friendly but extremely slow. Our food took about 20-30min to arrive. The checking process also took eternity. As usual in Piantini area, always with traffic jam and very difficult to find parkings. Fortunately there is valet. It is worth trying.

I was the American just there. All the food was great and the service too. I hope my fiancé tipped you proper because my Spanish is terrible. If she didn't I'll yell at her in English and get ya next time!

Service and atmosphere here is stellar. They had live music each time I visited. A bit pricey 2,000 plus pesos per person including a drink, would be about the same in any trendy restaurant stateside, but it seems in the Dominican inflation has increased costs just like in the USA. Great place and I highly recommend, but not if you're on a limited budget. Food is fabulous and perfectly seasoned and presented every time. Best dishes in all of santo domingo in my opinion, and they have the prettiest servers also.

Food was cold and everything soaked in oil. Ordered eggs your way ( definitely not mine ) also French toast that was dipped in some concoction that was sweeter that a Krispy Kreme Doughnut. When I mentioned to the waiter these things it was like I asked her for her first born . What a attitude . She replied this is how we make it . Aug 8th 2022 10:00 am terrace . Their success has spoiled them and everyone is unchecked here . Spare yourself ! Not the way to start your morning

A wonderful experience of classy taste, a startling food taste and quality, amazing customer service and a magical atmosphere nearly unmatchable in Santo Domingo city.

Best place to have nice social breakfast or weekend brunch. I can say it has widest breakfast menu in town comparing to similar restaurants. Appetizers are big as almost main courses, won’t order both next time. There is nice and cozy decoration inside 😂 doors and closet handles on ceiling, half painted Louvre works of art 🤦🏼‍♀️. Food is one of the best in town. Have few but great vegan choices. Great for family lunch or ever birthday party.

The food is good and the prices reasonable, save for the insane taxes (not fault of the establishment). The service, however, is slow. The main server seemes to always be moving but the support staff were not familiar with the layout of the tables as they wondered around the patio trying to figure out who had ordered what. Not once were we asked if we needed anything. Had we not made hand gestures to get the check we would likely never have left the restaurant.

I have been to Julieta many time and always had a good time.but yesterday 2/27/2024 I sat down for 15-20 minutes and NO ONE took my order or even bring me a menu! The 3 girls that were there were.on their phones the entire time!!!...After I finally got my food no one returned to ask if I needed anything or if my food was ok... the 3 girls were still on their phones! I finished my food and ask for my bill and that took another 20 minutes and there were only 9 or 10 people in the restaurant with 5 waiters... the food was good but yesterday service was terrible!

👍👍 The venue is very cute, the view on the ocean is spectacular. The staff was super friendly this day. The food was really good and arrived extremely fast. I had Mofongo (So delicious) and Sancocho (very good)! The only pros was the dessert.
