Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 2022 Amazing service with an even better view. Wasn't busy probably because of covid but it's very easy to make a reservation and request a table by the window which has an ocean view. There is also a balcony for smokers or anyone who wants to eat outdoors. I highly recommend you order the mushrooms under sides. Was absolutely fantastic. Such intense flavors. They also have glass wine you just have to ask. Restaurant on the 5th floor.

Very good and every way 12$ entré 20-30$ meals and great staff and drink the food was just wow realy good if u are tourists and wanted to try some locals food this is the spots. Big thanks to Mariana for the great service. Enjoy.

The view from the restaurant and the service are great. However, considering the price you pay, you could expect more from the food. It's good but you could find better in that price range. I'm a bit disappointed. Come here for the view.

We had dinner here which unfortunately did not deliver to the standard it marketed itself for. When we asked for a medium-rare steak it turned out blue. This wasn’t unique to us unfortunately, our table next door had the same issue with their steak. I rarely ask to send the food back, but in this case I could not chew the steak at all. Luckily after it was remade it became edible. Steak aside, the seafood here is also average when it comes to quality. On the bright side, this restaurant is very good at its grilled vegetables and mushrooms. It was juicy and flavorful. The service here however was very slow. I’m not sure if they are short staffed, but we waited around for a long time for everything. Overall, given the price and marketed standard of the restaurant, it really did not live up to our expectations. We hope that the next time we come the food will be better.

This is probably one of the best restaurants in the country. Food quality , presentation and service were excellent.

The Chef is 5-Star! The food is a taste explosion. The food was exusisite, the presentation was amazing, and the ambience was very relaxed and comfortable. If you are looking for good seafood and an amazing experience, definitely try this place!

This is an amazing restaurant located in Catalonia Hotel, a lovely atmosphere with soft colors, warm lighting, and a great view. Great high quality food, well presented and well executed. Portions are ample and creative. The restaurant provides a variety of wonderful starters to start with.

I went to the restaurant at 1pm and was informed it opened at 5. So we ate at the 500 snack bar. No one seemed to notice us or attend to us when we sat at the bar. I called someone over and got a menu and ordered. It took 45 minutes for food to arrive. It was aesthetically pleasing, tasted fine except it was very salty. The hotel it was located in was Clean, modern, and casual. Many business people came in and out.

I can't reply in the hotel review anymore, but i already went threw the third party website and they asked you as a hotel and restaurant and still you choose to double charge me!

Beautiful setting on a terrace overlooking the ocean. Delicious, reasonably priced food and great cocktails. The experience was enhanced by the great service given to us by Daivi, Mariana and Luz

The decoration of the place is beautiful, the food was regular, the chef does not handle well the terms of cooking of the cuts and the most unfortunate: NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL! What should have been a great experience could not be.

An exceptionally good hotel restaurant. We ate here on out first day in Santo Domingo and came back 3 nights. Very nice atmosphere, perfect lighting, great service, well-prepared food, decent wine list. Highly recommended in a city that seems to have few decent restaurants.

The food at Filigrana is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and Chef Jose was super friendly and took care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place. Restaurant Ambient is romantic friendly, well set up and welcoming for any events or celebrations. Thank you for the amazing service and the wonderful food. After visiting other fancy places in SD with no service at all, this place make the differences, and has been the best experience in town.

My husband had our anniversary dinner here and it was BEAUTIFUL. Amazing views, spectacular service. Truly felt like a VIP occasion.

Do not order the seafood, blah. Get a steak instead!
