Location is the key, it’s very easy to commute around the city for sightseeing. There executive club lounge access was very nice with variety of food items for breakfast and for dinner. Staffs were too respectful. Amazing customer service. Hotel is is little old with analog TV,s other than that customer service and staffs and amenities were amazing. Highly recommended for tourists like me who wants to travel around Mexico City.

Staff and service are top notch. The location is also great. Wonderful view over the monument and avenue below. The rooms are clean and overall well maintained, but some of the features (TV and bathroom) could use an update.

5/5 This 5 stars hotel is probably one of the best in Mexico. Location, next to the USA Embassy, police and  private security all around the area, extremely safe. Reception, The staff extremely polite and friendly, in no time I was in my junior suite. The room, a lovely fruit basket was waiting for me, the room was clean with a lot of attention to prevent the spread of Covid. Food and beverage, I came from a long flight exhausted I didn’t want to go out, so I ordered room service, English was well-spoken, the food arrived in 20 minutes prepared for prediction. I will recommend this place for Business and leisure travelers.

I had an excellent time here. The staff are very nice. The gym is very nice as everything you need to get a decent workout while traveling. The food in the business lounge is good. They play American football on the TVs here as well at the bar.

I have been to many hotels but this one only carries the name „Sheraton“. There is no way it can be called a 5 star hotel. It simply does not meet the standards with old furniture, carpet and used looks and fuzzy bedsheets. For this price there are better hotels in the surrounding. Nevertheless the location is great and the entrance and lobby looks fine.

I travel a lot for work and pleasure and have stayed extensively with Marriott the world over. This is among my favorite, if not my favorite, hotel in the world. The staff are absolutely incredible. The hotel is centrally located and walking distance to some of Mexico City’s nicest neighborhoods and best attractions. Of the 3 hotels we stayed at during our recent trip to Mexico, the Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel was at least 2 orders of magnitude nicer from a service and accommodations perspective than even one of the fancy resorts we stayed at. Did I mention the staff are so great?! When my travels take me back to CDMX, I’ll be staying here…100%!

Currently staying at this hotel and love the location and the amazing staff! We upgraded to a Club room on the 17th floor, with access to the Club lounge (photos are club lounge breakfast). Excellent breakfast and light dinner, with snacks and soft drinks/coffee (Nespresso) all day. There is a hair salon and Starbucks downstairs in the lobby. Only complaint is the water pressure in the shower but otherwise clean hotel with lovely amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

Currently staying at the property and would not recommend. Overall the hotel is very shabby and in desperate need of repair. The room itself is in poor shape with a bathroom tiles cracking, mold and broken fixtures. Even the bathroom walls in the main room are cracking. I called the front desk who referred me to the app to send a message. Unfortunately this hotel doesn't activate the messaging function in the app. Overall I would stay away from the property and choose another Marriott while in CDMX.

You would seriously think you were staying at the Ritz Carlton at this property. The level of service by everyone that I encountered was amazing. The staff at the Sheraton Club were top notch and the older gentleman that was there in the afternoon and evenings was amazing. If you can’t figure out the coffee machine he’s more than willing to help you. Thanks for the great stay.

Sheraton is centrally located and offers value for money Many rooms have view of Angel of independence. It has Gym, sauna, steam tennis courts and Rooftop swimming pool Note : Rooms have become quite old and serious need of upgrade. No proper plugs or switches, confusing to operate these. Lounge access for Marriott bonvoy members Excellent spread during Morning and during dinner Fresh smoothie upon request during morning and to go covers for croissant and other fresh baked bakery items Juices are available at night as well Afternoon snacks are cookies, savory snacks etc and beverages Overall very good stay but they have still work on renovation ☺️

The location is good but that is about it. The rooms are old and dated. Our bathroom literally had a chunk missing from the shower. Screws fell out of the bathtub as well. Carpets were really old old. The hotel is run down. The front desk was not very accommodating either. We later stayed at the Hyatt regency and our experience was much better.

LOVELY hotel in the heart of CDMX (walkable to the museums and historic center and surrounded by fantastic restaurants) with stunning views of the Angel of Independence and some of the best service I’ve received at a hotel! Spacious, comfortable rooms and an amazing lounge as well! 100% recommend across the board!

Fantastic place to stay. Amazing location. My room overlooked Ángel de la Independencia which was spectacular. Yes, the room design may be a bit dated, but it was extremely clean and comfortable. The food in the elite lounge was excellent both for breakfast and in the evenings. It’s a bit quirky to have to sign bill for $0 each time. Staff were pleasant. Would likely stay here again.

Our recent stay at the Sheraton Mexico City Maria Isabel Hotel was extraordinary, the hotel’s location is very central, hotel room is nice size and clean. We’d like to give a big shout-out to Mr. Adan, Alma, and Manuel in the Sheraton Club for ensuring four of us had the best guest experience during our stay. Highly recommend this hotel for a remarkable and enjoyable stay in Mexico City.

This property of Sheraton is in prime location very accessible to other touristic places. Apt for any business or family trips. Next to the US embassy and opposite to the angel statue. Looks splendid at night We went there on Christmas Eve & it was filled with lot of decorations, huge ginger bread house , lit up Christmas trees. There was some event happening in the party room and people dressed all elegant Room service provided goodies to try like ginger break Christmas tree shaped cookie & alots of candies from different places in Mexico. Being a tourist it was not what I would have known Now about the room itself, my room didn’t have any nice view. Heating didn’t work & my 18 months old baby was shivering. Had to wear winter jackets to sleep.

Wonderful experience. On arrival, the lobby was beautiful, and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. We were upgraded to a very nice suite with views of the boulevard and angel monument below. The Sheraton lounge access with breakfast and dinner offerings was the best I've experienced with amazing food options, including complimentary beer and wine. The location can't be beat, we really enjoyed walking to the park and the nearby restaurants. Highly recommend!

Rooms are a bit dated. At least the "suite" I was in was just two adjoining rooms with a bed swapped for a couch. Some staff are excellent, but service in the lounge was just bad to non-existent. They're meant to offer you coffee and eggs to go with buffet at breakfast, got waited on one day out of 7. Tried to go for their evening happy hour, room 30 minutes to get someone to take my order, waited another 30 minutes for them to realize they forgot. And just gave up. Had liked the hotel previously, but don't think I'll stay again.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. This web site will compare thousands of booking web sites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the best in the area. I have been staying here for years. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be disappointed. Staff made it so convenient to settle in a non English speaking place. They made efforts to make our Christmas eve special. Kids got a surprise room service of chocolates. Rooms are clean and kept well. Place is conveniently located to move around. We enjoyed the stay!!

Wonderful surprise! The place was very well maintained, the staff was very accommodating and attentive, the rooms were very spacious, and the beds were super comfortable. We have always stayed at the Americana fiesta but this is definitely our new go-to place! Thank you guys for wonderful stay!!!

This is a very old property, and it shows. It is in desperate need of remodeling/updating. The employees for the most part are pretty nice, but unlike the Hilton chain, Marriott gold members receive absolutely no benefits of any kind. The good thing is the location. There's little else I can recommend about it. You can sometimes get a good deal on the weekend, but it is usually very pricey during the week and hence not worth it.

I would give 10/10 to this property and its location. If you’re on vacation or business trip, this is the place to stay in Mexico City. The area is very safe as it is next US embassy and it’s right in front of beautiful monument of angel of independence. The hotel and outside area is buzzing with people of all the ages and group. It’s so lively at any point of time. While all the in-house restaurants are awesome, if you want to eat out there are so many super good restaurants at walking distance. You’ve Starbucks, seven eleven everything right there. About the rooms, they are so well maintained and room service is excellent. We travel a lot around the world but I have not experienced such neat and clean housekeeping without even requesting our rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. It felt so relaxing and refreshing to find the room in best state when you come back from whole day of travelling. I highly recommend stay at this property for anyone visiting Mexico City. We had stayed here for 5 nights and had the best view from the room.

Excellent hotel with nice rooms and facilities. The gym was well equipped and the gym staff were exceptional. Check in staff were also pleasant and very accommodating. Rooms were spacious with excellent views. Only issue was that we didn’t have running hot water in the bathroom.

The pool had no water in it and looked like they are not maintaining it. The womens bathroom near the meeting halls onto he top floor had doors where the handles where falling off or would not lock. My room smelled like cigarettes. Definitely not the most luxurious place but the location is really good and the staff is very friendly.

  • 1/5 Arber D. 5 months ago on Google
Very outdated rooms. Shower was broken and customer service is zero. Unless you pay them cash (hand them money) they won’t lift a finger for you. Truly disappointing as the location is great but the service, and the condition of the rooms, it’s truly bad.

  • 4/5 Jason M. 10 months ago on Google
Right outside the angel of independence, so nicely situated. Not a far walk from place but uber is the way to go for sure. Rooms are nice and clean, the layout of room needs help though (light from bathroom was annoying). Pool was heated so it was more like a large jacuzzi. Bar lounge was nice too.

Fantastic stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly (the front desk, the cleaning staff, the lounge staff, etc). The breakfast is good, and the lounge food is surprisingly good as well. The room I was in had a view of The Angel of Independence, which was a nice surprise. Would definitely stay here again.

  • 3/5 Mabel F. 11 months ago on Google
The hotel is OK but some of the facilities are a bit old (specially the pool and the windows around it, nice view but blurred by the old windows). Parking is expensive and I am afraid the staff either utilize the car or steal gasoline as I left my car with full gas and it was returned with 1/4 less… Guest attention is also not good at all. I was expecting a 5 star-level response. Not close at all.

Really nice hotel with clean and fresh rooms. Both the service and the room were excellent. As for the location; it is almost across the street from the Zona Rosa. I had other friends staying in other hotels in the city who liked my hotel better. The hotel is beautiful. Highly recommend a stay at Sheraton Maria Isabel.

Stayed here twice now due to the close proximity of the American Consular Office. First experience was awesome, my second experience was a disappointment. Spoke with a lady at the front desk and asked her if she could accommodate a late check-out (one hour more) due to our appointment at the Consular Office being extended. She denied us and told us we would have to pay $50 extra. Packed up my baby and our items and placed our luggage in a Taxi to be stored until after our appointment was finished. Wasn't asking for an exception, just asking for a little help to maintain a comfortable environment for my baby and wife.

Worst Marriott hotel chain I've stayed at. No heater on the 9th floor rooms, I complained, and they told me that the heater does not work in the- whole building (not sure if that's true). The rooms are very outdated, they market the hotel as a 5 star hotel , I would say its more close to a 2 star hotel. The only good thing about it is the location. I will suggest to not waste your money in this place , find a better option.

Completely disgusted with the laundry service at this location. They lost 13 pairs of undergarments and socks that are all designer and will not provide me the ticket I sent them for all my stuff I had sent. They did not reimburse me for the laundry service which I would have been the same equivalent price of the items I lost. Over 1K mexican pesos charged for laundry but reimbursing me 600 mexican pesos. (That’s less than $35) lol. Disgusting.

"Disappointing experience! The rooms were in a sorry state, with mold in the shower, uncomfortable beds, and an unpleasant odor. The redeeming qualities were the friendly staff and a somewhat convenient location, although it was quite noisy, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep."

  • 3/5 Sai V. 3 months ago on Google New
Overall, the best thing about the hotel is the location, it’s easy to get to attractions and nice to walk around, with many restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are fine. They are similar to a standard Marriott room, there is nothing spectacular or particularly bad, but they were clean and comfortable. The service was also great, especially the concierge, definitely have a great tour to the pyramids. The service at breakfast was also fantastic. However, we were promised a room upgrade and never got one and staff at the front desk was rude when we asked even though we are platinum members. The worst part was the food and the condition of the pool. At breakfast in the club lounge the overall options were limited, and the vegetarian options at breakfast were extremely limited. Also the quality of food could definitely be improved. The pool was in awful condition, so if you want a nice pool, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Overall, the hotel was ok, not bad not great.

Ant infestation warning!!! Wish I could rate it 0. Hotel management have no idea what they’re doing and the hotel is SEVERELY understaffed. It’s old, dingy, and in no way deserves a 5 star rating or the Marriott brand name to it. We always had to request housekeeping, our room wasn’t ready for 3 hours until after check-in time, and we were up at 12am calling the concierge about an ant infestation in our bathroom trying to switch rooms and get someone to come with an ant spray. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone — there’s plenty of great options around it.

Comfortable room, convenient location to lots of eating and sightseeing places. Love the little treats, face masks, sanitized wipes and view from our room. Amazing breakfast service, we were stuffed every morning with great food and fresh fruits to start our day. Thanks and we will be back!

The website or I had mistakenly booked a room with two beds. Despite being a Gold Elite member, the receptionist did not change it, because there was “lack of availability”. Of course it is a rather large hotel and multiple applications showed availability for the day, for many types of rooms with a single bed. So we had to use two beds. It is situated in a nice location and the rooms are not bad, but the AC did not function well.

A hotel I can hardly fault. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff, incredible breakfast which was some of the best food I've had in a hotel, the gym was great (wish the windows were clearer though for some natural light and slightly more spacious) and the room was big, spacious and silent. The location is wonderful too - close to great restaurants and a nice walk to the park. I wouldn't hesitate to come back - amazing place!

I stayed at the Sheraton Mexico City Isabel Hotel for two weeks and have to say that this is one excellent hotel. It has a perfect location and very nice facilities for an older hotel, but the staff here is what makes this a special place. From the door greeters, front desk personnel, restaurant staff, and especially the maids and room service personnel are all top notch. I probably have now interacted with 40 staff members and they are all professional, happy and kind, while keeping in mind that we are in a new wave of the pandemic. All safety measures are in play at the hotel but they are not made to be a nuisance for the guests. I can't imagine how this place could be any better run or staffed. Having stayed at many Hilton's, Hyatt's, Marriot's and other high end resorts and hotels around the world, I can say through experience that this particular Sheraton is a special place to stay because its a nice hotel with superb staff.

I’m so underwhelmed by this hotel. The only positive experiences I had were: - The bellmen and front desk staff (10/10) - The view of The Angel of Independence from the room - WiFi was decent Everything else was just, blah. The rooms are tired and showing scuffs, tears, stains, bumps, and wear and tear everywhere you look. The shower literally sprays everywhere, creating a soaking wet bathroom. The pipes in the bathroom made loud sounds for hours early in the morning. The ceilings are very low throughout the entire hotel, making it seem very hard and not spacious. In reality, it reminds me of an old retirement home. The photos make it look better than it is in reality. In the same price range there are many hotels in the same area that have more updated rooms, nicer amenities, and a better overall experience. Sorry Sheraton, but this hotel is stuck in 1999 and needs an overall to compete in CDMX

The stay was great. 10/10. Prime location, great rooms, friendly staff. However, beware of their dry cleaning service. My clothes were RUINED by them. Being the hotel that is, and the price they charge for dry cleaning, I imagined that the dry cleaning service would be top notch. My favorite shirts, pants, jacket, and suit were returned to me shrunk, worn out, and ashy (white stuff on them). I picked up the dry cleaning the day of my check out and had to catch a flight or else I would've spoken to someone there but that legitimately ruined my day. I could've purchased new clothes and just paid for regular laundry service and been much happier. By far the worst dry cleaning experience I have ever had (which is why I gave three stars). Aside from that though, great hotel.

Very luxurious and well located. Rooms are large and bathrooms are all in marble. Breakfast is good but pandemic times make choosing and serving more complicated. Staff is nice and helpful.

Staff is beyond nice. Rooms are pretty spacious. Beautiful hotel. Centrally located. In walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. Rooms have fridge, coffee maker, iron, free water, hair dryer, safe, and nice bath stuff including a vanity kit. I like that you must have a key to access the elevator and they have tons of staff on the premises at all times. Also, the kiosk across from the front desk with pastries looks delish. Can’t wait to try that tomorrow morning! Almost forgot- they also give you a pack of antibacterial wipes and extra masks!

  • 1/5 Christy C. 2 years ago on Google
Expensive for what you get — amenities are few and while some of the staff are helpful, others aren’t. My main complaint is the necessity of spending so much money for only 2 tiny/Mini bottles of water. You’d think a so-called “luxury” hotel would at least provide its guests with water. At this “luxury” hotel, you better bring your own water!

  • 4/5 Robert L. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice hotel. Stayed here for business. Room is spacious, clean and met my needs. Service had been very good. Check in went smooth. Clean sheets every day and restock of bottled water is nice. In room coffee machine is good. I'm happy with my stay here and would stay again.

The service here is excellent. The location cannot be beat, and the views of the angel are absolutely stunning. The hotel was very clean, very modern, and kept in excellent shape. The rooms were large and also kept in great shape. It’s obvious at this property that both the owners and the staff take great pride in it. I would recommend this Sheraton for anyone who wants to visit Mexico City.

Great Hotel. I would stay here if I won the lottery or my job is paying for it but I personally No. Nice rooms far from any public transportation have to use expensive cab. Restaurant is pretty decent for food but way overpriced for the same fair that you could get from your local Diner in the state. The name is nice for The Prestige of having stayed there but the price is not equal to the value when you consider other places to stay.

A lovely property and kind staff. I'd stay there again. However, be prepared for the quintessential Latin America hotel experience; and by that, I mean, it's loud! It's been remodeled but has very little noise dampening even in the new parts, unfortunately. You can hear anything and everything from the rooms next to you, as well as in the hallway, other floors, and from the street. As I write this review, there’s hammering in the hallway, a vacuum outside my door as well as staff talking loudly, and a police siren and street performer down below, the sounds of all converging in my room 20 floors up. This is typical outside the US, but may be a turnoff to some guests. The lounge is on the 18th floor, and the few floors below it are "club floors." I'm not sure what that means to have a club floor without a club on it. But the food and staff in the lounge were awesome. You could eat breakfast and dinner there every day of your stay and be perfectly happy with it. The food was very tasty! They usually had a vegetarian sandwich option as well. Cecilia in the lounge was awesome -- give her a raise! I worked remotely here, and the wifi was adequate, the chair for the desk was the appropriate height, and there were outlets nearby. Some hotels get this very wrong (counter height desks with table height chairs), but the workspace here was quite comfortable.

This hotel is central to everything. The staff is tremendous and you feel extremely safe (mind you are next door to the us embassy). We did have a friend come to visit us at the hotel and he was actually stopped by the front door concierge and asked to check in with the front desk. The front desk then took his ID for his duration of his stay. When I called the front desk and needed anything literally they were knocking on my door immediately with what I asked for. Rooms are great and the bed feels like your sleeping on a cloud. Highly recommend this hotel for your Mexico City stay

Charming and welcoming. We were well cared for and the services we accessed were lovely. I can’t speak for the food in the building because there are so many lovely places all around. Very central to so much, one could spend a week and not see it all.

My favorite hotel in Mexico City. Despite having some years, it's very well maintained. The rooms are big, the beds are absolutely the best (large and super comfortable), and extremely quiet! You don't feel that you are right at the center of the city.

I'm at the hotel right now. I wanted to have breakfast at the hotel but I couldn't. They turned me down because you have the right to a breakfast for a day. It's really funny that such small calculations are made. They made a very bad impression the moment I logged in. After 14 hours of flight, all I wanted was to have breakfast and sleep. That's why I had to stay up and go out.

Enjoyed my stay! We got upgraded to a suite so that was definitely a good thing. We stayed there for 2 weeks! Clean, comfortable rooms and great service! I loved the top floor lounge. They had good food with a good mix of Mexican and continental food options. I would definitely come back and live here.
