Our stay was amazing! The Staff was extremely friendly and professional. Front desk was so nice and attentive to our needs. The facilities are so nice, clean and modern. Great location, super safe. The rooftop pool is amazing. We unfortunately had left some things behind and thankfully when we called the hotel and they had them in lost in found and we were able to retrieve our items. I definitely recommend this Hotel , lovely stay.

This is a great hotel to stay at in Mexico City. My room was clean, service is great, and it has one of the best hotel breakfast buffets I’ve ever eaten at. There are many restaurants and shops close to the hotel that are easy to walk to. About 45 minutes from the Mexico City airport.

rooms are ok, but for whatever reason, the security & staff will not let you use any of the common spaces. the lobby tables are “reserved for an event” (this was at 10pm with not a single person nearby), or “reserved for the bar” which is completely empty with clearly nothing going on. the wifi is intermittent & service is below par. I would stay somewhere else for this price.

Service and location are good. Price reasonably and breakfast is not the best but okay for the price Just beware that service to close the tab at breakfast is very slow. Lastly their a/c policy is ridiculous. In order for the a/c to remain on you must leave one of the key cards inserted for all electrical to work if you want a nice cool room upon return. Well I did that but housekeeping took the key out and of course everything turned off to include the a/c so when I returned the room was very hot. According to front desk, housekeeping is instructed to turn off electricity to help with ozone and pollution. Go figure! So I lowered the temperature to as low as the setting allowed over night and next day the temperature only cooled off a couple of degrees at best. I let it run all day and still the room doesn't seem to cool off. So maintenance checked it out and told me it works fine, so they provided a fan. The fan helped some, but even then it's still not cold enough. The temperature on thermostat didn't change. This was a big issue for me because I like my room to stay cool all day and night. For this reason I give them two stars and that is being nice.

Decent hotel at very reasonable price located in the heart of mexico city. Shopping mall, groceries, restaurants, angel of independence are all within a 5 min walking radius. Hotel staff is very polite and courteous and provided great service. Special thanks to the on call Manager for promptly upgrading us to King suites when we had a minor problem with our original suite. Breakfast is also decent with good customer service

The room was great, although it was a bit cold. We ended up asking for extra blankets because the heater in our room didn’t work. The cleaning and room staff were great, as was the check in process. However, there was a corporate Christmas or new year’s party on the penthouse/ pool area the last night we stayed. The music was so loud you could hear the bass from the speakers on the 3rd floor; this noise lasted until 4am. This diminished my overall impression of staying at this hotel.

Rooms are nice & great location for lots of exploring but I hate that AC is not up to par or idk if it’s to save electricity. Even the entrance is like a sauna. After getting changed rooms twice they brought us a fan but not helping. I am writing this review because on our last night here I am getting back to our room after a day of exploring the city annd dinner and the coldest this room has got is 72 degrees.

For the price, this hotel presents great value for services, amenities and location. I enjoyed the convenience of being able to grab a quick breakfast or snacks and beverages at the Brisa Lounge so I would recommend that add-on. Most of the staff that I interacted with were pleasant and helpful.

The room is a little bit aging but it's a great hotel overall. Every employee is friendly and professional. They don't like US staff's fake hospitality but just for the tip. I especially recommend the restaurant. They have everything from local to the western.

Very easy check in, and really fun and friendly staff, the rooms was nice size and very clean , location was great , in the midst of it all . Definitely a place to check out and stay, the inhouse buffer is really good as well with all different Specialty foods . Highly recommended.

I paid with my credit card a $400 credit for expenses occurring my stay. When I checked out I was told I had only used half of it and they would refund me the other half. It’s been a month and a half I never received my refund and they’re telling me they charged me the right amount. That is my banks fault, however my bank never received a refund or credit. I asked if I could speak with the owners and they have consistently told me that they gave me the credit and the problem is with my bank. I got engaged to two so town was hoping to have many guest from United States come for a wedding . But I will not do business with this hotel ever again !

Great hotel with comfy rooms and a nice rooftop pool and restaurant. The gym is pretty small but serviceable. The one thing I'd improve is the TV, there's cable so that's something, but no streaming services (ClaroVideo was supposedly installed but never worked for me). Also, maybe a microwave in the rooms.

The hotel looks nice and the rooms are spacious. But sound insulation is very bad. I can hear our neighboring door close clearly and other guests talking through the walls. Two people upstairs chatted from 3am to 4am loudly. Could only sleep after getting ear plugs from the reception. Other than noise, no other complaints.

The rooms are good with comfortable beds. I would rate this five stars relative to the price. However, the hotel charges very high rates for water bottles (70 pesos for a tiny bottle), and everything else you might need. Laundry service is a robbery. I had to pay 1200 pesos for washing a couple of t-shirts and some underwear. Be aware at least. Food options are not very good. The “gym” is a room with a couple of treadmills. Deducting one star for expensive water bottles, and one star for poor food options.

This place is nice but it doesn't offer free breakfast and the breakfast buffet in the morning is way over priced. The beds we're very firm as well and and AC doesn't work well at all. It's almost like they have control of the AC and don't allow it to go under a certain temp. When the curtains are open to get some morning light, it heats up the room quicker than the AC can keep up, making it very hot and uncomfortable. For the price of this place I expect the AC to work when it does advertise AC. The combination of these things made for sleepless nights. I'm also pregnant so the beds being so hard was a huge disappointment. Room service food was also lacking. I included photos but don't let them fool you, the fish was way over cooked. I suggest just staying somewhere else. But if these things don't bother you then just know the staff were all very nice and accommodating.

I would give 0 stars if that was possible. Where is human decency? The staff is very antisemitic. I did not feel safe here. Please look at other options for your stay and be careful.

It was a nice stay for the wife and myself. The hotel is very clean, housekeeping is very attentive to your needs. Check in and out was easy and fast. The consierge were very helpful for everything and got us taxis to drive us around Mexico attractions. The food and the room service is excellent in taste and price. Now the beds are hard so expect that. When watching TV use the SAP button to change languages. Wife figured that out lol. It is within several locations that you can walk to and security is good. We had no issues walking everywhere to sites and restaurants. There are private taxi services on site that will take you everywhere. Of course for a price. We used the Flores brothers. You cannot see the Angel from your room. But you can see it from the roof pool area. Lastly there is ATM on site and a money exchange as well. We will recommend and will use again in the near future. Thank you Plaza for making our stay enjoyable.

Horrible check-in experience. I called the front desk twice before the reservation date to make sure that I would be able to reserve a room for my sister and pay with my card even though I would not be present. This was a gift for my sister and I wanted to make sure this was doable. Twice I called and twice the personnel assured me that it was "absolutely doable." When my siter checked-in, they told her the complete opposite and charged her an extra $1,000 pesos for check-in!! I'm not sure what they got out of lying to me. If they would have told me that it wasn't possible, I would have just booked an airbnb instead, no hard feelings. But instead they told me one thing and my sister another. Do not get fooled by this place; absolutely horrible service.

The hotel is well located and clean. The rooms are a bit smaller and the bathrooms are as well. The restaurant in the hotel ( the casual looking one) has the most attentive personnel and very efficient. Irma, one of the servers there, is an amazing person. She is charismatic, friendly, warm and charming. There, is where I felt the hotel gets 5 as well as its location.

Extremely nice and clean. Definitely a four-star hotel. Staff is great, pool could be a little bit better… But the hospitality makes up for it!

  • 1/5 Anya P. 11 months ago on Google
Pool closed without notice, breakfast price became more expensive every day. Every morning they charged us a different price for the exact same breakfast. It exponentially became more extortionate as the days progressed. We stayed here for 5 days and the experience wasn't great. We booked the hotel because of its location and the promise of a rooftop pool - however the pool was closed under construction for the first 3 days. We were never notified beforehand and everytime we asked the staff when it will be ready for use, no one knew the answer. When the pool did finally open, the floor of it was dirty and filled with bits of pebbles and rubble, seemingly from the construction. On weekends, you'll hear loud drum and bass noise from the club across the road, vibrating on the windows (we could make out each song quite clearly despite being on the 6th floor) until 5 AM in the morning. Breakfast food also left much to be desired. The selection wasn't great to start with - and every day we got charged a different amount to pay. The rules of what counts as "continental" vs "hot buffet" changes daily and we ended up paying triple on the 4th day compared to the first day, despite eating the exact same thing. The breakfast staff were also aggressive and quite rude - and we were asked to pay for the charge then and there, without being able to add anything to the room. The only 1 star is for the cleaning staff who always did an excellent job with our room every day.

We've stayed here for 5 nights and while the staff were generally nice and unproblematic, I would probably not recommend this for any of our friends or family. The location is half decent, you're in the neighbourhood of Juarez, which means you're decently close to Roma and Condessa, and the price was okay. However, the rooms barely have any kind of sound proofing so it's quite easy to hear your neighbours have a quiet conversation and on our last night was when the worst situation of this characteristic happened. There was a party of sorts on the top floor (PH) and we were just 2 floors below. The noise was loud enough that I could feel vibrations against our walls and floor. Don't be led to believe that just because CDMX approved new laws in 2021 to limit excessive noise after 10PM that you may get the hotel on your side. After I spoke to concierge, he did little to hear me out and asked me to "take it up to management" and pointed me to the service desk. After I spoke to the service desk (where I noticed quiet whispers between 2 staff). She essentially just said that they have no other rooms available of lower levels and that that's all they can do. The party was expected to end at 12:30AM-1AM. I'm clearly a foreigner/tourist so it felt pretty useless for me to try navigate the situation in my favour, and I doubt I could make a formal complaint with the city by-law officers with my lack of Spanish. So if you feel you're in a similar situation as me, I would just avoid this hotel. There's tons others in the area that are around the same price + might at least try to look like they want to accommodate your complaint. They really just didn't even try to empathize.

The staff is friendly, only issue was that when we first arrived with reservations. They first said our rooms were not ready and had to wait for about 2hours. In the meantime we were able to leave our bags while we explored the city. We then came back and they now said they didn’t have rooms available and had to wait another 3 hours. I was frustrated and they finally somehow found an available room. The rooms are very clean and overall a very nice hotel. Bed is honestly too hard and uncomfortable for my taste but I still managed to get good rest. The breakfast buffet is good. Staff is great! Although, we had to call to complain about a strong burning/cigar smell and asked for two towels which we waited for 2 hours and no one ever showed up nor did I get a call back on the smell or towels. Overall, it was a good experience. Location is great to explore with a lot of great food and shopping options.

Loved the location.. I am not really a fan of their amenities . The rooftop restaurant is recommended. The customer service and housekeeping can improve . Our flight was for a later time of the day.. it appears the hotel charges extra for late checkout , even if informed earlier.

First time in Mexico City. This hotel was in a great location. Our room at the end of the hallway was very quiet. Hotel staff was attentive and helpful. It was nice to have a pool available for an afternoon nap. We didn’t eat at the hotel since there were so many great options within walking distance.

Nice hotel although there were a few issues that keep me from giving 5 stars. The room service was 24 hours which was great and for the most part the food was good, but I asked for a medium burger and received an almost inedible well done burger. They also lost several pieces of my laundry which were later found. The location is good and feels safe. The views are nice and the have wonderful pool and rooftop. I recommend it.

Customer services is EXCELLENT! I have yet to stay here, however, since 2020, I have been trying to visit Mexico City and due to Covid, my plans have not gone through twice (2020 & 2021). Both times, I have booked this hotel; their customer services via email has been EXCELLENT. I made taxi reservations from the airport to the hotel and had connecting rooms arranged - both times they have been professional and great dealing with all the requests. Both times I have had to cancel and no issues. Thank you for your EXCELLENT Customer Service.

I stayed for 2 night and had a nice experience. The hotel staff are nice and they answered all my questions. I give it a 4 because I noticed the little flaws in the walls, exposed wire in the closet (not visible unless you know what you are looking for) and other small details.

I had 2 night stay at the hotel earlier this month. Had a very poor experience when dealing with the rude counter staff. When got to the room, upon opening the door, noticed a strange smell in the room which gave me an immediate headache. Found an ozone machine in operation in the bathroom (my guess is that it is for dealing with a mold problem). Due to the headache inducing smell, requested for a change of room but was denied rudely by Alejandro who suggested that we keep the room and try to sleep the night despite me telling her that the ozone smell gave me an immediate headache. Alejandro than proceeded to ignore me and it was her colleague who finally arranged for a separate room. After googling for more info on the negative health effects of Ozone, I am happy that I insisted on a room change. Overall hotel is nice but the rude front desk staff Alejandro really spoiled the stay for me.

stayed 7 days. good wifi (70mbps), good bed, good room furniture, good room cleaning. pool is kinda sad, no showers and nobody uses it. and the location is kinda lackluster compared to central but its the kinda quiet spot i signed up for. i didnt feel the breakfast buffet was worth it perhaps because covid restrictions made it take forever to get service.

  • 5/5 Marjorie L. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel is pleasant. The first room was dark, they upgraded no prob. Lots to see in this neighborhood. COVID test cheaper if you stay more than three nights. Concierge was helpful in booking excursions and translating. I'd return if I come back to this city.

  • 3/5 Teresa B. 2 years ago on Google
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't excellent. The room was fair. The buffet was less then desirable. God willing, we have another trip pending, and we won't be lodging at the Galería.

Just finishing up our stay, I feel that the service was on point. This is out first trip with our 5 month old and the staff in the lobby were very attentive with our stroller. We arrived quite early for check-in and while we expected to wait for a room, the staff at the front desk found us a room right away and we got settled in within 15 minutes! The little restaurant in the lobby was nice and no too expensive. One thing to note is while they do have accessible ramps and elevators they are a bit steep, not really unusual for CDMX or anywhere in Mexico, just something to be aware of. I will be happy to stay at this hotel in the future.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in! The food was beyond amazing with a wide variety to choose from. The staff were friendly, very helpful and professional! First time in CDMX and I'll recommend Galeria Plaza any day. Location is perfect, room on the Brisas Club Level, and free and great breakfast, snacks and drinks on that level. Room was comfortable and quiet. Restaurant was great, clean, etc. Service was top notch all the way around.

Very convenient location in Zona Rosa and close to Reforma if you wish to do a great walk to the Historico. Lots of great food options and bars nearby. The bed was far too firm for me, so if you’re a side sleeper or larger person you may feel like these beds aren’t comfortable. The pool area is great with a small gym for convenient workouts. If people are being noisy, the sound will travel to your room but overall this wasn’t a big deal for me. My review covers myself and 2 friends, all with a room each. Staff were attentive and friendly. The only other peculiarity was how insistent housekeeping was - busting into the room early (830am). Still insisting on housekeeping when you’ve requested privacy. Not a big deal but a bit odd.

Clean room. Nice rooftop, though it closes early. Pool is kinda useless for adults, they should've made it a hot tub instead. Decent gym. Good location, good value.

Great hotel and amazing customer service. You have shampoo and soap from Neutrogena, big sized shower, and huge bed. I visited their restaurant as well and the flavors were amazing. One thing that I didn't like. The mattress in my room was quiet old so I could feel any type of movement, so if you are a lightsleeper as me, get 2 beds. The next day I changed the room (2 beds) and I could sleep properly.

  • 2/5 Mario M. 2 years ago on Google
I can't really recommend this hotel. The service was not good according to what we paid for it. We arrived late and only had the room prepared for one person (water, towels, bathrobe). We just wanted to rest and have a shower after a 14 hours flight. I called the reception and they said it will take 20 minutes to get the missing items, for a bottle of water they put me on hold for the room service. This was already weird but what made me angry was that the items never arrived. In general the reception was not understanding well, I don't know if it's a language barrier or they just don't care so much. However, I found other nice hotels with great service in this price category in Mexico city so I won't have to come back.

Great experience staying at the Galeria Plaza Reforma. Excellent location just off the Ave Paseo de la Reforma in the Zona Rosa and just around the corner from El Angel de la Independencia. Neighborhood is very safe. Hotel room including bathroom was comfortable. However, highlights of the hotel besides it's location are the rooftop pool area and the excellent breakfast buffet that was included in the price of the room we booked.

We enjoyed our hotel stay very much. The room we stayed at is basic comparable to a Courtyard Marriott hotel. Our room is quiet with window view of the angel of independence statue. I slept like a baby here and i am a light sleeper! The bed and pillows are very comfortable . The staff is all great and courteous. The breakfast buffet is worth it. The restaurant is also very good! We watch the Superbowl at the bar and had some great piña coladas. Very convenient location and walkable to a lot of stuff. I will use this hotel again if im back to CDMX . Highly recommend.
