Talking about the spa. They have to take care of the amenities. The steam room was not properly working. And the spa needs a renovation in some areas. The service is excellent.

Room was beautiful BUT , I was told gym was 24 hours, I went down to use gym at night and the younger desk attendant told me people from the street aren’t allowed to use gym. Excuse me ??? I am a guest, not someone from the street. Disgustingly rude ! Manager was nice, but this guy was awful. I did enjoy rooms though they are sensational but this man ruined my experience.

Strongly recommend this hotel. I stayed 5 nights at this hotel and loved my stay here. To me location was perfect, it's connected to the mall, as are the offices of my company I came to work at, and several amazing restaurants. Checking in after midnight was no problem. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful, love the vibe. Very friendly staff, beautiful and enormous rooms with high ceilings, full bath (with second TV) and large separate shower. The food at the hotel was great..I would have preferred a breakfast buffet, but that was only a small downside to have to pick something from the menu. Overall great attention to detail. At the elevator on every floor there were cookies in the morning, iced tea, and a bottle of mezcal and shot glasses later at night. Once in the room I never heard any sounds from other rooms or the hallway, even when I turned off the a/c.

We had two poor experiences that ruined what would have otherwise been a nice stay at this hotel. Three of our guests were arriving on a red eye and we wanted them to have a room ready when they arrived early in the morning. We paid for that night to make sure the room would be available. We made sure that the hotel was aware when they would arrive and that they needed two beds. They arrived and the room wasn’t ready and didn’t have the two beds when it was. The second experience that ruined our trip was the very dangerous water feature beside the hallway en route to the elevators. We were there for a wedding and my sister was all dressed up. She accidentally fell into the water as it was not lit at all nor was there any sort of barrier or warning. She hurt her leg and it ruined her night. The hotel staff did not bring up towels right away as requested to help her dry off and they did nothing to cordon the area or mark it with lights to warn people in the future. It’s too bad because otherwise it’s a fairly nice hotel, albeit very expensive.

You are better off going to a hotel or air b&b with beach access. Room service takes 1 hour and tasted terrible. Tasted like day old food. The resort dining…. My 12 year old kid could make better food. We tried the Italian and it tasted like food from a seniors care home. Phone in room didnt work and took 3 days to fix. Breakfast was good and the spa was awesome. No entertainment on resort. Pay more and go elsewhere..

The hotel in general might be really nice, but the employees at the reception are absolutely incompetent, who didn’t make it possible to stay for a business trip at the hotel, because the receptionists couldn’t find the payment confirmation of the company, which was transparently send 2 times in advance. Due to this fact, I cannot recommend this hotel, because clients have no value in the hotel and they were not willed to find/offer an alternative solution. For this class of hotels it’s a no go and never happened in other hotels.

This is one of my favourite hotels in the world, Top 20. The suites are gorgeous with amazing bathtubs. The food is good. My number 1 Nobu in the world is in the hotel. The staff are excellent, to put this into perspective they arranged for a doctor to come into my room.... to top It all off the spa. Lastly you just melt into the beds, reminds me of the four seasons mattresses a little bit. Price point wise, I would rank it at number 1 in the Western Hemisphere.

My family and I stayed at the Live Aqua resort hotel in Mexico City over the New Year period. We had an excellent overall experience at this hotel during our entire stay. The hotel is very well furnished and the rooms are spacious and fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure every comfort. We are a vegetarian family with two little kids and the restaurant staff ensured we had very satisfying meals at all times. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great 5-star experience.

The hotel itself is fine but the service and reception desk are HORRIBLE. It took me 45 minutes to check in, although they were not busy. I needed to modify my reservation so a receptionist told me it was “very difficult” but she would go check with the supervisor (she claimed hotel was full although I had a reservation and rooms were available online). She came back quickly, ignored eye contact, then left me there for 45 minutes. After eventually realizing something was off, I asked her and turned out she hadn’t checked with anyone. Just left me there sitting and probably would have done nothing. Not really sure what the issue was because it all worked out… and lo and behold, my room was there. Terrible start to a trip. Room was vacuumed badly and had a bunch of lint and little blue pieces on the carpet. Only ate breakfast but food at hotel is not great. Breakfast order messed up. Hotel smells good and spa is nice Not sure how they claim 5 star - service is terrible. Also- read you statements as mine had additional Charges.

Went for dinner so only speaking to that effect. The vegan option was pitiful. The salad was literally just lettuce on a plate with a couple of cherry tomatoes. The lasagna was made with fresh pasta, which would be great if it didn’t contain egg, and therefore could not be eaten. There was no option for desert. Left there very hungry. Avoid like the plague!

Nice amenities but it’s ridiculous that being a “five star hotel” they cannot provide something for indigestion or an alternative, definitely not the service of a five star hotel

Simply put: an outstanding experience! After five days/four nights, I feel qualified to say that this is an excellent hotel in Mexico City. The food was always fresh, appealing and delicious. The entire staff always paused to say "good day", and made you feel as though they were ready to assist you. Interesting conversations are there if you want them, or you can simply enjoy the genuine and friendly greeting from all. Raul and Hezzel are two I remember as eager to help you with your Spanish if you are interested. You'll also appreciate the commitment the environment: little things like a glass bottle of water in your room as an alternative to the plastic. Want a quick cup of coffee in the morning? Or a flavored water on the way to your room? A simple walk to the table at the the elevator on your is all you need. Fresh fruit and other treats were always there as well. The record player was a delightful touch. Exceptionally clean and fresh, The Live Aqua will be where I stay next year, as well. Thank you.

The Hotel is amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Angel in concierge, Jose Luis in the restaurant staff and Jesus from management are amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and the service they provided. The only drawback is that hotel is quite a bit far away from the city. 1 hour with traffic is the usual time. But if you don’t mi d the trip and enjoy tranquillity and amazing service, this is the place to be.

Really great hotel! Rooms were extremely beautiful and bed very comfortable! The concierge service is very premium, especially Celestino and Raphael were really helpful and provided an absolutely top service, helping us arranging visits, restaurants and private driver! Won’t give 5 stars just because of the location.. if you are looking for a central hotel this won’t be for you as it is at least 20-30 minutes from city center, however located in a very safe and residential luxury area - and if you have a car or happy to order a taxi it is totally fine! For us we would have loved for it to be closer to restaurants and bars, but other than that really ticked all boxes! Thank you for the great stay and absolutely top concierge service!

My review goes to the spa since I'm a local visitor. Reservation by phone was incredible, Adrian - spa host - helped easily us to find a slot and guide us properly through the menu listened carefully tu our necessities. The experience was wonderful: - Hotel installations are surrounded by design and details. - Spa staff is welcoming and caring - Massage was well done - And again Adrian a great host Some opportunities: - Hidrotherapy didn't work properly - Some towels were damage We sure recommend this place

Great place for a drink with friends. Nice mood, really good food and service. Prices higher than average but for a once-a-week business lunch or a weekend social meeting is a good option.
