Small but really lovely museum in a walking distance of the center of Metepec .. worth visiting.. It’s well organized and there pretty awesome arts there especially the top floor where there is a lot of pottery/mud and it’s almost grantees that you will enjoy it It’s free entry and pretty clean as well as has a small shop if you are interested to buy pottery arts (some of them are amazing but justifiably a bit expensive) So if you are visiting the city, it’s a nice place to add it to your list

Second story is particularly beautiful -- the miniature Barro figures are so compelling! The store could be better, and the temporary exhibits are a mixed bag. But well worth the visit.

Poor museum that needs efforts from authorities and sponsors. Great place with potential, but underused.

What an amazing and informative place full of beautiful creations on barra. Our guide Carolina was fabulous and spent a lot of time with us explaining all the work and how it was done. Highly recommend this place if you are in Metepec

Beautiful small museum highlighting the incredible work from local artists in this town known for detailed and delicate Tree of Life "arbol de la vida" some just inches high and others as tall as me!
