A very pleasant, large park, in Metepec, Mexico. There are: wide open fields, abundant parking, several trails for running/biking/skating...and two playgrounds. The playgrounds have wonderful layouts, with many levels for various ages children. The notable downside (and most of our experiences have been positive) is twofold: 1) the playground equipment is in some disrepair and enough so that it is potentially dangerous to young children and 2) there are no water fountains or other provisions for drinking water, so far as we could see. Given the likelihood that younger children can dehydrate very quickly with vigorous activity (hey, even adults can become dehydrated with exercise), it is odd that no water is made available.
