I went here with my friend. Because we aren't ordering meals from the cafe, the waitress requested that we sit outside. However, I could see two white women sitting at a table by the door simply enjoying a cup of coffee, as well as more than three unoccupied tables inside. It was nevertheless fine. There were two heaters where we were sitting outside. I asked the waiter to turn on the heater, but she refused my request, claiming that they were broken. Later on five white British people arrived and sat down next to us and a waiter immediately came and turned on the heater only on their side. As a result, he turned it on for us when I requested him to. I was furious. They didn't even ask, but I could tell that everyone was happy to have them. And despite my repeated requests, nothing was done. After discussing this with the staff, I discovered that the waitress who had been serving us had either left or perhaps had no desire to return. The staff stated that it is unrelated and that he will apologise the following time. I most certainly won't return.

This is a great place to get a good meal - dessert or latte/ coffee. The environment is very classic and the waitstaff are always lovely. I love their cheesecake.

10/10!! If you want real Italian food this is the place to go. Brilliant food & huge portions!! Seating is fairly limited as its quite small inside and expect to queue (totally worth it). We ordered the tricole salad & garlic bread for starters. Mains we had the lasagne and the aubergine arrabbiata penne pasta. You can mix & match which pasta you want and how spicy. Service is excellent! this is my go to place!!!

Abysmal experience and upsetting actually. Went in last week for a soup which took so long I had to get take away in end. This week gave a second try and took my son as we go to class nearby. We stood waiting unacknowledged for so long we found our own table in the end. Whereupon we were just told we were in the way and could I move my bag and could we sit somewhere else. My son was so hungry by this point he started trying to eat snack food I had in our bag. I told him not to. This seemed to be only reason someone finally came to see what we want. My son got really upset he couldn’t eat. I asked for what my son wanted but the man was so unpleasant to my son I decided to leave. It was -3 outside and they knew my son was hungry but they let us leave and were shirty. When outside I realised there were few places serving any hot food at all. Can’t believe - a more horrible experience would be hard to find.

Lovely food, staff, atmosphere. Menu has a lot of options and plenty of variety. I would definitely recommend it! Got an egg royale and English breakfast tea for brunch. Was lovely!

Went for a trip down memory lane with my dad. The place has clearly changed hands. The man there (mid 30s Asian background) is incredibly rude. Coffee was good tea was good, other waitress (young girl) also nice. Just this guy.

I came here for breakfast on Sunday, the manager (Bekim) was absolute a nasty person, he was shouting and being aggressive to his own staff in front of us. He did not greet us when we entered also when he took our order he was miserable. Bekim is extremely unprofessional and has no manners, all I can say is when I left the restaurant I was in shock by his actions. I have to say I would never come back here again. Terrible man and bully to his own staff!

SHOCKED TO SEE THE 2 STAR HYGIENE RATING Always loved this place, even with the miserable staff. Enjoyed it for decades with family and friends.... raisin toast and hot chocolate on a weekend after a walk on the heath..... welsh rarebit or veal milanese, tomato pasta and so much more. Watching the world walk by, sitting outside under the heaters. Utterly shocked to find out about the hygiene rating - disgusted!

Love this place. Reasonably priced for Hampstead in these expensive days. Food is great, staff friendly most of the time.

One day I went to eat and everything was fine until I saw how a manager mistreated his employee in front of the customer. How could it not be when no one sees him? That was very unpleasant and embarrassing for me to see that situation. What a pity ! These things happen in a city like London, which is characterized by the human rights of the citizen.

Wow! We had the special. Pasta with cod, olives, capers and garlic oil. It was fantastic. Great atmosphere and pretty fair pricing. We will go again

Really poor quality breakfast. Daughter ordered minestrone soup which tasted stale. No pasta inside when we asked where pasta was was bought out a few pieces in a bowl. Total joke. Really lost its love and mojo compared to many years ago. Not run properly. Will not be returning.

We used to come here all the time especially before CoVID and it was always absolutely brilliant but I think it's changed owners because whilst the staff were really friendly and attentivez sadly the food wasn't great.....the smoked salmon sandwich was just served plain on its own dumped on a plate with no lemon, no garnish nothing and my friend's eggs Benedict were plain and cold. Also my friend wanted raisin toast but they didn't have any in (mid morning on a weekday) Not impressed

I sat down outside to have a bite to eat. An unfriendly waitress came and asked me who would be joining me to which I replied I was by myself. She emphatically started shaking her head and said rather aggressively that I couldn't sit there because this was a table for 5. I said I would just pull the smaller table away from the bigger table. Again she said "No management doesn't allow the tables to be split this is a table for 5 people only !". Her message being loud and clear that I needed to leave. I was absolutely shocked that I was being told that as a single person I somehow had no right to sit down and order a meal. I was really shaken and visibly upset by this, i have seriously never had this happen before. Honestly I don't know why they hire people like this to work with customers.

The food was just okay, however they did have a large range of options. Staff were quite cold and were not very attentive or polite; maybe because it was busy. But it did affect my overall experience there.

I stopped at the Coffe Cup for lunch. I had the veal milanese with the spaghetti tomato. The spaghetti sauce was absolutely excellent the way both my nonnas and mother made. The veal was good and the service fast and efficient.

Highly recommend I took my wife and 2 best men to the restaurant for a fine dinner. We each had the schnitzel. The pasta could have used slightly more salt though.

The staff was friendly, creating a nice atmosphere. However, the food, while okay, leaned towards the basic side, and some dishes were unfortunately over salted. It was an acceptable experience, but I don't see myself revisiting.
