A fantastic cafe/tea shop. Dog friendly and very dog welcoming! My little furball had lots of fuss and attention from the staff who were lovely to us humans too. The food was great. Very much enjoyed our visit and will be returning soon no doubt.

The staff are super friendly here and welcomed us straight away and allowed us to bring in our dog. We had a milkshake each and a millionaires slice and a coconut and apricot cake, both of which were the right balance between rich and fluffy and very fairly priced for the size of the pieces. You can tell these are beautifully homemade. They even let me add a syrup to my milkshake to make it a little different. We had a voucher to use which is why we went in the first place but liked it so much that we ended up keeping the voucher to use it for another time to try out their tasty sounding lunch menu.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food service and atmosphere of this establishment. Meeting with my friends and having a comfortable experience was relaxing. Even more enjoyable I was eating out with friends and him indoors had to fend for himself. The waitresses were up and down the stairs never complaining and dealing with our requests effortlessly. Thank the staff for looking after us.

Once we found a parking space nearby, we enjoyed a walk up to the Wier & back. Particularly liked the impressive tree by the cafe. Would love to know which type of tree it is. Willow, perhaps?

I found it a bit odd that there was a note inside the menu stating that due to the current egg shortages only one egg will be served but if you would like another egg there will be a charge of 40p even though 40p hadn’t been deducted off the intial price with now being just one egg. Breakfast was ok, sausage had low pork content (taste like Walls) which was a shame, I only got quarter of a fried tomato whereas my partner got a whole tomato! Pot of tea (two cups worth) only had one tea bag so was pretty week. Too much toast was served/wasted without any butter. Venue was modern and clean.

Sat outside in a small bit wonderful walled garden area with beautiful agapanthas. When asked about the eggs, they immediately recooked, no question, great local black pudding, sausage and bacon. Good pricing. Will go again!!

Always busy here because the food is really good and it has a nice atmosphere. I had a bacon, sausage and egg bap and it was really tasty and kept me full all day. Only downsides are that parking can be a nightmare as its very limited, and it can be quite cramped downstairs but it's a small and busy place

Excellent Tea Rooms. Very popular and busy so worth booking beforehand. Staff super friendly and large selection on the menu form cooked breakfasts, sandwiches to cakes & scones. We walked there so no issue with parking but something to bear in mind if driving there. Didn't see the cycle parking facilities but there were cyclists there.

This place is a lovely place to sit and has lovely welcoming staff and delicious cakes and sweet food aswell as scones. I had egg sandwich which was honestly disappointing to previous sandwiches I've had here - hardly any egg and tons of mayo. The same with my friends prawn sandwich. They must of changed the recipe which is sad. But the brownie I had was delicious and the cake was moist and fresh.

I was with a party of 9 who arrived just as they were closing. The staff were very accommodating and welcomed us all. After delicious cake and drinks we left - all wanting to go back. Next time we will go earlier!! Many thanks to the staff and our apologies for making you late.

Nice little café. Lovely surroundings in an old salvation army hall & the space is used well. Food was good, a nice sized small breakfast (with a note on the menu relating to recent egg shortage so very helpful to know.) Service was a little bit slow we were advised to take a table & our drinks order was taken when we asked if it was table service. Requested more time to look at the menu & waited but we went to the desk to order our food as it felt a little long to be waiting. There is a carpark here but it's not large & fills up quickly. An enjoyable breakfast & a nice pitstop if you're out walking. The cakes available looked delicious!!

Had lunch here after a lovely walk at Horstead. It is really important to book a table as it is a very popular cafe/restaurant. Parking can also be a problem for the same reason. Seating is a few tables on the ground floor with more upstairs. Menu is very varied with lots to choose from and specials of the day. It's good value and the panini's we had were very tasty and served with salad and coleslaw. There is also a large selection of cakes and scones if you just want a snack. We also had a large pot of tea to which they kindly added an extra bag! Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

Stopped in here for breakfast while my car was being fixed. It's a weird place, the building and decoration is really warm and inviting, we ate on the second floor, big windows and chunky wood furniture, but it's really tired, stains on all the carpets, marks on the walls and sticky tables, but in a way it kind of feels more homely for it. The staff are really nice and attentive and provided excellent service. The food is where this place really shines! The breakfasts were incredible! Super generous and well priced, fantastic quality and we had nearly a whole loaf of good quality bread on the side. I'd definitely recommend giving it a punt.

Been here a few times. A couple of breakfasts and lunch. The coffee and food is always good. Excellent English breakfast, light snakes & homemade cakes. One point which makes this cafe outstanding is the staff. They are well trained happy smiling and polite, and for a bunch of mainly youngsters is really refreshing these days. Would highly recommend, they do get really busy but you can book too 👏👏👏

We Popped in for breakfast, whilst out on a cycle ride. Greeted by very helpful and friendly member of staff who advised we could bring bikes into courtyard at rear as we did not have locks for them,he advised Breakfast was very good. We both had the full English. Lovely sausages!!local butchers I suspect? Very efficient and friendly service Archie I believe was the front of house chaps name? He's a credit to the establishment!! Would highly recommend!!

This is a delightful cafe restaurant. We went for lunch and were lucky we got in without a booking. It's a popular place. It's on multiple levels and were on the top floor with a great view. The tea and lunch were delivered promptly but didn't feel pressured to leave. They do a fancy afternoon tea, which if lunch was anything to go by will be great too. Staff were polite and helpful. Loo was lovely and clean too so got to be a 5 star

Stopped here for breakfast with my wife. First impressions were good - nice cafe and friendly staff. The food was very poor - bacon mushrooms and egg dried up. The toast arrived after we finished. The general service was poor. Rather sad as we had high expectations.

Lovely lunch, coffee and space! So can’t fault that, and the fact it is dog friendly is a bonus! However, the staff didn’t seem to be very well trained in my opinion, as I run a cafe. We were almost charged £10 extra for our meal and when we questioned it the waitress was rude and told us that is the price! So that let the whole experience down I’m afraid:( Would have given 3.5 stars but unfortunately can’t.

I have visited this wonderful place several times with friends and family. Always excellent food and the best cakes! Staff are really friendly. Takeaway service too means you can eat just outside by the broads. Definitely recommend

Very friendly staff. And a good selection. Not the cheapest. But good quality and tasty food. They have a few seats downstairs. But most are on a sort of mezzanine floor. So not so good for the disabled. But their is disabled excess into the building.

Stopped by here while boating on the Broads. Had a spot of lunch with the family, great sandwiches and English brekkie. However fruit scones with a touch of cinnamon was an absolute game changer for me, tasted amazing. Will be sure to stop by again next time we are passing this way.
