I am from South Yorkshire visiting relatives in Dorset / they said a trip to the garden centre and I thought “ oh “ But what a pleasant surprise ! I was amazed at the Size of the Centre , the Quality of food at the Cafe was great - the huge selection of literally everything for the garden and all the plants and flowers looked in such good condition - the range of trees and bushes was amazing to see and the staff - so helpful and knew what they were talking about and really friendly -Best Garden Experience ( too good for just centre) I have been to in my 59 yrs

Popped in for a bite of Sunday lunch the other day. Surprised to find it a lot less busy than expected. We were served quickly with a choice of seating. Always good value with a pleasant ambiance. Then a stroll round the shop picking up a few bits and pieces. Nice.

We went to Lakelands and the Aquarium place, lady at Lakelands was very attentive as they did not have, our usual stock in. Bought more plants, as a neighbours kitten destroyed the others we had.

Love Stewart's especially at Xmas. Trees were a good price this year...less than I paid for the same height at b n q and nicer tree. Coffee shop always has lovely food

Read a lot of the reviews.. People with dogs should quit moaning.. Take your dogs to the park or leave them at home.. They don't always belong in shops, restaurants and especially golf courses.. Stewarts is a lovely place but can be a bit procey.. However, good quality products.. Christmas always seems to be a bit magical there, even if you go for a look around..

Stewarts Garden Centre Christchurch.... Sunday 29th Oct - Breakfast and purchase I'm usually very complementary about the service in Stewarts, but sadly today it wasnt very good. We went for breakfast, server at the lcou ter exclent and efficient. Wentbto the drinks counter, not the same experience.....the tea and filter coffee counter was NOT ready fkr business (milk dispenser not ready) and took an age. Breakfast was almost cold by the time we'd waited and sat down. Unfortunately we also experincex poor customwr service at the tills when purchasing cards and Xmas lights, I know its not the usual service......not even a thank you once paid, reveipt dumped on the counter and no thank you for your custom or purchase. NOT a good experience, sorry guys......I want to write great reviews but today must have been a bad day for all. Thanks Julian

Update 2024: just been in and the custard slice is back! Absolutely delicious. I'm very pleased. I've upgraded the rating back to 5 stars for food quality. Prices are steep but you get what you pay for. They always have a couple of real reindeer at the santa grotto in December. Their Christmas decorations are wonderful but be prepared for the prices. The cafe is usually the best place in town.

Great selection of good quality plants. I not seen any other garden centre selling pink poinsettia. Amazing experience feeding the giant koi carp which made my day as they're super cute

Went to visit Santa, really enjoyed ourselves. The team were lovely. I withheld a star just purely based on the car park. Is there any parent and child spaces? Really struggle getting parked, normally have to go to the overflow just so I can get my daughter out of the car.

I popped in for a moment to meet my wife and her friend briefly. They were enjoying coffee and cake. The atmosphere was pleasant and they really know how to retail Christmas within the garden centre itself.

I love this place e could arrive at 10 and spend most of the day here, I went to ashop Edinburgh wool mill and bought 2 jumpers. The food is lovely but don't have the carrots as they are hard. Lots to see floor flat so good for chairs.

You'll find a wide variety of items for the garden and gift idea's. Maidenhead aquatics and Edinburgh Woollen Mill are also on site. The cafe is usually busy but there's a good selection of hot and cold food.

Good selection of plants and garden accessories with great customer service. And a wonderful cafe/diner with the best selection of cakes! So, why only four stars? Sadly, Prices are pretty high

The best Christmas meal ever… 🎄🎅🧑‍🎄🤶the Small Christmas Meal is good value and tastes wonderful. The hot chocolate was fab! The coffee was also good. The kitchen staff handled the busy situation with great skill. The kind man on the tills carried part of our meal to the table. Overall the quality was great at a fair and affordable price with lots of choice for both food and drinks. I would highly recommend. 🎄❤️😊🎅🎅🎅

We visited yesterday my daughter booked us to see Father Christmas and his reindeer , this is my Granddaughter 1st Christmas she is 4months old. It was a lovely experience including the grotto and Christmas scenes. We had our photos taken by the elves. Father Christmas was so adorable and believable that I told him so !! We had lunch there in the restaurant which is extremely popular, though there was a problem with a coffee machine which stalled the queues; the colleagues were constantly updating new queue customers with the reason for the delay: great customer service. The custard slice cake is HUGE and we got in takeaway box as a treat for later. We Look forward to my daughter and I and my Granddaughter returning next Christmas when she will be as excited about the experience as we were.🎄 We will definitely make a habit out of popping there for garden supplies and for lunch too. I recommend the Christmas experience to everyone with children.

Really enjoyed our trip, the Christmas decorations were very good and reasonable prices. I did find the cafe food quite expensive but that seems to be the norm in most places now. The store also had a great atmosphere as well.

I had a specific problem with some cacti feed. I took the product in question back. The staff were brilliant, listened to the issue, and replaced the product. They also gave me some additional advice which I have followed and it looks like the plant is recovering. Oh, and we stayed for lunch of course! Great staff, great service. Thank you.

Very nice store and a very nice Christmas display with real reindeer. Seeing the reindeer is free of charge unless you would like to make a small donation in the charity pot.

Really surprised how big the garden centre was, and was more like a one stop for all garden supplies. A huge selection of plants, very impressive range, really spoilt for choice and they all looked healthy. Great range of tools and accessories, very diverse range of other products as well. Very nice cafe, plenty of seating with some outdoors. Friendly and helpful staff ready to assist. Prices are medium to high, but the quality is excellent.

Always worth a good wander round and a cup of tea and cake at Stewarts. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful too. Special mention to Tyler in the cafe who was quick, friendly and helpful. We took one star off as neither of us liked the almond cake which, compared to Stewarts usual excellent cakes, was not very good.

Delightful place, very spacious with an excellent variety of all sorts of things to purchase. Love this place especially fab variety of cakes, tea and coffee. Don't miss the Christmas decorations and great variety of Christmas trees with lights along with a host of gifts to buy..

Such a lovely shop. Great range of interesting products, and a visit at Christmas time is a must for a big dose of Christmas spirit, Stewart's go to town. The restaurant has incredible quality and delicious food. The staff are lovely. Best garden centre around, but it is so much more. Thank you Stewart's for maintaining brilliant service values and a beautiful environment in a topsy turvy world.

Always a treat to visit. Today we concentrated less on plants but thoroughly enjoyed Edward's with hot chocolate, coffee, a delicious Coronation Chicken sandwich on fresh granary bread with a slaw and mixed salad on the side, and fruit scone with butter jam and cream. Tremendous Christmas displays, beautiful hardy orchids, pot covers, and amazing range of both indoor and outdoor plants.

Very generous portion sizes (u are able to choose your breakfast items) (no obvious gluten free options) .. lovely staff .. good coffee.. not allowing dogs at the moment

Plants - incredible! Both house plants at outdoor are an amazing range and quality and there is nothing they don’t have! The layout is easy and the cafe very very tasty, if not slightly expensive! We get so excited for our yearly visit and never leave empty handed. We come down from london and have to go here as soon as we arrive

Great place to visit, but....the restaurant needs to improve its servicing of drinks. By the time you reach the till your hot food is cold because you've been waiting ages for your cuppa. Bring back the table service we had in covid days or simply put more efficient staff on the coffee machines. Great staff elsewhere.

An absolute magical time. We all love Santa grotto wonderland the best we have seen, the children get very good quality present. Stewart's have made a very magical memory for many children and family. Then we had a tea in the cafe and met the wonderful Doug the most helpful man , very good with the families. So a big thank you Stewart's.

bought some catmint for my cat. Only could find the tiny £2.50 one. luckily when I mentioned to the lovely lady at the customer service desk she showed me the big ones outside the front which were half price with my stewards card ,so done an exchange for me. just as well as my cat would have made light work of the small one!

Beautiful store, fantastic unusual gifts, Xmas trees smell divine, plants look healthy. Santa's grotto is a magical experience. Could easily spend hours looking around.

Met relatives in the coffee shop for a catch up. Plenty of parking spaces. Large selection of very tempting cakes and drinks. Light, airy and cool in the conservatory seating area, otherwise a bit warm elsewhere.

Visited the Aquatics shop, fabulous set up and vast array of all kinds of amazing fish, cold water, tropical and gorgeous marine fish. Staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgable. In addition I needed a part for a uv filter and incredibly the manager found the perfect replacement in his parts bin. What service, well done folks, I would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you, good old fashioned British service. 10 out of 10.

👍👍 Never disappointed here. We needed a table, at a busy time, and the owner was so helpful as one of our group was very frail. Dog friendly if you eat outside. Home-made soup is always good, and ideal if eating outside. Our usual Crab sandwiches are off the menu, due to the price of crab becoming exor...
