First time back since the renovation was completed. Went to see a play starting Elizabeth McGovern about Ava Gardners last years. It was a compelling story and so well acted. Riverside Studios looks stunning with the upgrade. Pleasant cafe and bar overlooking the Thames and a restaurant called Sam’s as well. @riversidestudioslondon

Very friendly staff, nice cafeteria and bar!! Located at wonderful location by side of River Thames. Nice theatre with multiple auditoriums liked sounds and lighting on stage. But the seating was old type of set up. You could take drinks but in plastic cups/ containers.

Saw Flowers for Mrs Harris - an excellent show. Good venue with 2 theatre spaces, a cinema and cafes. Only a short walk from Hammersmith underground station. Overlooks the River Thames which was very atmospheric on the rather wet day I was there!

My first visit to the new Riverside Studios. Impressed with the changes - upgrading of the food and drink offer; plenty of space to sit and chill; nice box office with welcoming staff and feeling of bright and clean throughout. Will have to return to complete a full and detailed look around. Today was a quick look either side of the 1500 hours Matinee Performance of 'Operation Mincemeat - The Musical'. Plus things - clear labelling of directions; good access for anyone with mobility issues; very clean toilets with 'disabled' facilities separately; very helpful and friendly staff. Minus things - seating in Studio was on quite hard and little padding non folding chairs (after two and a half hours a numb rear resulted); seats were not offset so with a tall person in front (like my seat) about a third of the stage could not be seen resulting in having to lean side to side to follow the action; poor or rather no information about length of performance and whether an interval was included. After an hour, the stage went dark and the house lights came up and the Studio mostly emptied. Guessed that this was an interval as staff mentioned nothing and people came back after a few minutes clutching ice creams and drinks.

Visited their spaces to see Mince Meat production. Simply a great place. Riverside serve alternative ales in their bars which pairs nicely with the stylised pub food they serve. Mince Meat production was set up in studio 2. It was a spacious black box studio with high ceilings. Definitely didn’t feel claustrophobic or stuffed. Only down side was the fact that there were no warnings in place for high steps patrons needs to climb to get to their seats. No posters that I can see or warnings from the staff was in place. Overall a good place. I am looking to see more shows there.

We visited the Riverside Studios for Winnie The Pooh and it's a great venue!! The staff that we interacted with were all really lovely! The toilets are nice and clean. Seats are comfy and easy to find. The whole venue is really easy to find. We didn't have any food or drink there so I can't comment. The view over the river is very nice too!

Great venue with a lovely view of Hammersmith Bridge. Went to see a theatre production there. Seats were not that comfortable and the show was over two hours. Good place to eat and drink although we thought some of the prices expensive. The Tardis is there!! Lots of toilets too. Great atmosphere! Five minutes from Hammersmith tube station.

I used to go to the old riverside studios whilst walking the Thames path. It had a lovely brunch menu. This is part of the redevelopment of the area and a very good update. I met my partner and found a table with a riverside view. We had lovely food and good drinks. Service was excellent, faultless. Staff were great and it wasn't expensive. There are several interesting exhibits free to view. Highly recommended.

Visited here for the theatre to see 'Cages'. A lovely building with so much to do. Here, you'll find theatres, cinemas, restaurants and a bar. So much space to have a drink and a chat before the theatre, And some fantastic memorabilia to look while waiting. The other reason I didn't give 5 stars was we had to wait a long time for drinks at the bar and especially in the interval, when only a limited amount of time..... But this doesn't take away how fantastic it is here.

Carne here to watch Ulster American. Nice little local community centre. It's very popular! Facilities are modern and clean. Would come here again.

This iconic venue continues to offer great entertainment for all ages. We went to a couple of shows that were part of Bitesize festival and were impressed! The prices are affordable, the bar is well stocked and the seated area has great views over the river. The shows and films on offer always a bit different.

Beautiful place, food is nice but one thing I didn’t like they asked us to move from our table even though it’s booked for 2 hours, so they moved us to the bar which I didn’t like, nevertheless the staff were friendly and the food and drink was nice, not sure ill be going back but I have to be fair they deserve 5 stars!

A fabulous events venue near Hammersmith bridge with bars, a top notch restaurant, cinema & various stages for live music, really had a wonderful evening here.

Only rating their film screens. £13 per ticket is really not justified for the quality of the screen and sound. Really tiny screen number 2, the size of a small living room. I rather spend that kind of money at a proper cinema in central London.

Fabulous riverside location. Clean, attractive and full of interesting information about its history and what has been filmed at this location. Food and drink was amazing and the theatre is well situated so that all seats get a great view of the stage. All adds to a great night out.

Saw Flowers for Mrs Harris at Riverside. Very busy Sunday afternoon in foyer, more seating would be good. Nice atmosphere. Theatre great as no matter where you are seated you have an excellent view. The musical itself was very good. Excellent cast, all in fine voice. Lovely production, bring your hankies though as some quite poignant moments☺️

This is the first time I’ve been back to Riverside since the theatre was rebuilt. It still retains its original cutting edge vibe, the performance spaces feel much the same and the old BBC era signage has been retained. There’s a lot of open space to hang out in - when I went there was an exhibition of BBC programmes made at the studios and the Tardis! - and a causal restaurant, bar - super quick service with a really practical queuing system - and coffee stands. There’s also a fancy Sam’s champagne and seafood restaurant if you want to make a night of it. I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be going again!

Another super trip to see a great show; Operation Mincemeat, playing till 23rd July. Clever, articulate with real Fringe vibe. As ever, all staff were friendly and professional, wheelchair access here really is superb.

Nice cafe and restaurant on site , nice location by the Thames. Cinema and BBC studios where Dr who, old grey whistle test have been filmed. A small theatre too where I saw Cages ( thoroughly recommended)

Came to see The Apprentice - You're Fired being filmed. Would certainly come here again. The place was clean and well organised. All staff were friendly. Some interesting art to look at while waiting too. Cafe and bar looked quite busy.

Since I was last there, this studio has changed dramatically. It is in a beautiful location next to the river, there are many places to sit whilst waiting for a show to start and there are separate places to obtain food and drink and programs. This means the queues are never too long. The studio where I saw my play was intimate allowing audience members to be quite close to the stage and the actual actors. I would highly recommend Riverside Studios.

I visited here to see a play, but it is also used to record TV shows with audiences, and historically was used for shows like Dr Who. It has quite a bit of space to wait and also has a cafe.

Tarantino Live is easily one of THE BEST shows I have seen in a long time! So fun, so refreshingly different, so amazingly well-done. The vocal talent and abilities of all the cast and band is simply - phenomenal! The live musicianship is off-the-scale excellent! The clever way all your favourite Tarantino scenes are expertly intertwined together is, quite frankly, impressive! This absolute gem of a show is almost at an end... GO - WATCH - ENJOY. WHILE YOU STILL HAVE THE CHANCE!!

So instead of address my concerns in the previous review they didn't contact me and just deleted my review. I can safely say, the service in the 'restaurant' is still horrid. After waiting to order at the bar and no one coming over to help, I had to call out to the person who was just standing around. They put my order through which I paid for right away and had the audacity to put a service charge on at the bar, never seen that before. Please take the time to train all your young staff, they are all clearly at school and it's their first job but there should be a senior member of the team over seeing what is actually happening.

This was completely rebuilt a couple of years ago and has now reopened bigger and better. The studios still show films, but they also host TV shows and plays. There is an upmarket restaurant (which I haven't visited) and the lobby has a bar/cafe which is good value, but if you haven't booked a table you might struggle to find a seat on the weekend.

Just seen Elizabeth McGowan in Ava, a play about the highlights and twilight of Ava Gardner's career. Loved it. Great acting, great writing and great staging. Followed it with a late lunch in the cafe bar, watching the sun set over the Thames. A perfect culture trip.

Great place let down by badly designed bar area. It’s a really nice community theatre and cinema - we were here for the theatre. When you enter there’s a large bar area directly in front of the entrance but do not order a drink here - if you do you will be shoo-ed to a tiny ordering area - then after ordering you are shooed into an even smaller drink collection area effectively queuing despite ground floor is very spacious and luxurious with room for all (love the art work by the way). Before you even enter the cinema or theatre this leaves a terrible impression - you have turned the ground floor into a restaurant despite the fact it is a cinema / theatre. You alienate cinema and theatre attendees in preference to diners. It might be where the profit is but with such a big space it could be arranged better. Such a shame

Went to see Cages London Production. Was very good show, and the venue was nice. Food was decent, although pricey. Would rec9mmend Sam's restaurant inside.
