Visited Battersea Power Station area as the Northern Line tube now runs there. The area is similar to Coal Drops Yard in King's Cross however not as large as it is still undergoing development. The Battersea Street Party was taking place when I visited so the area was very lively with musicians, buskers, Hip Hop Dancers, Clowns and other street artists. There are a number of pop up businesses which provide catering and drinks. Seating is provided too. There are also a number of well known eateries, bars as well as a Cinema. The main power station is still undergoing development so access is not possible. The whole area is surrounded by new glass and steel apartments. A place to visit for half a day out now but it may prove more interesting when the old power station is developed and opened.

I've wanted to visit this shopping centre for a while and was not disappointed. It's divided into two halls, A and B, with levels in each, and an atypical and interesting range of shops, providing a different kind of experience to the usual high street /shopping centre. What was particularly great (for a geek like me) was a lot of the original power station equipment was incorporated into the design and on display. It has been rebuilt sympathetically to the original design, with industrial art deco features. There's a lift to the top of one of the rebuilt towers with views of London at the top, and a great cocktail bar called Control Room B that has control panels on display at the back, making it a unique experience. There's also a cinema. The Arcade is a place to eat, offering a variety of different foods which you can order on your phone and have it brought to your table. For example my daughter had suchi and I had an Indian. There are also separate restaurants. The service at both Control Room B and the Arcade was friendly and efficient. Outside there's a large area overlooking the river, with lawns and deckchairs, and a large outdoor screen where people were watching cricket. On the ground floor there's a small exhibition of the history of the power station from when it closed in the early 1980's, through all the ideas proposed for the site, up to what it has become today. I would recommend anyone to visit, there's something for everyone here!

A new lease of life for an iconic building where work and play will blend. There are some new commercial units and a cafe and you can see the Gehry buildings in all their puzzling glory. You can take a boat to the city center from the pier or have a bite in one of the restaurants overlooking the Thames. Still quite a few buildings under construction so will be interesting to see how it will all come together. Next door you can visit the New Covent Garden market, a wholesale market, where many of the fruit and veg of London come from. If you are into architecture and amazing buildings this place won't disappoint.

The old power station was rebuilt and transformed into a fancy area full of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and a big shopping mall. Near the station, there is a pier where you can get the boat to make a river tour through the Thames River or to reach quickly to other parts of the magnificent city of London. This place deserves a visit.

Fabulous concept, stunning building and bustling vibe! What they have done to this building is simply amazing! The now stunning Battersea power station is a newly built village, easy to find with a fantastic spacious underground car park for the public and a dedicated floor for residents. Once inside you find an array of big brand retailers on two floors, well laid out for an overall shopping and eating experience. The food court is found on the top floor where there is an amazing range of themed vendors food coming out the kitchen. Offering street food and favourites, from fish and chips to steak or burrito. The fries were absolutely spot on, even the loaded ones! The food came out freshly cooked, hot and delicious. 😋 I made sure we let Geoff in the kitchen management know how much we enjoyed our food and can't wait to return in the summer. To get in the festive spirit there is a winter wonderland of their own outside, with huts, goods for sale and an ice rink. There are also other places to eat and drink outside too.

I went to have a drink at the deck with some friends near the river. It was amazing. Sun and deck chair were out. You have a lot of restaurants around and places to buy a drinks if you wish to just walk along the river. Cleaned toilets are also available !

I have loved this iconic building for years so I'm grateful for the chance to finally wander around inside. Amazing industrial architecture. Would've given 5 stars if it hadn't been a weird shopping centre.

Beautiful revamped area. Modern touch. Very clean, family and pet friendly, also disabled/wheelchair friendly. Nice grassy area outside with deck chairs and other giant grass chairs. Nice open space- open and free for public. Lovely on a sunny day. Very relaxed atmosphere and vibe.

Battersea Power station is the largest brick built structure in Europe, when commissioned housing the largest generating kit in Europe. It is now accessible via the Northern Line extension, via Nine Elms at a mere cost of £1.5 billion. Here's a series of photos as it was during the progression to its current trendy status.

Just discovered that you can now walk through from the new Battersea Power Station underground stop to get through to the new shops, bars and cafes down by the river. The area in front of the power station now has lots of seats and benches and a big grasses area with great views of the river and the new developments. A great place to come for a wander and chill out on a warm sunny spring day.

A really nice site to visit. I always see Battersea Power Station when I get the train into London but had never previously visited it. It is great that the site has been refurbished and has been redeveloped to preserve an interesting part of London’s industrial history. It is well worth visiting.

Went for the very first time yesterday, and I was impressed. This shopping centre is beautifully designed and incorporates many of the original power station features. A good range of high end shops and a good selection of restaurants. Only thing I would say is that need better signage for the car park as we could not find the entrance initially. Also the cost for going up in Lift 109 is far too expensive at £23.50. It also needs a few more coffee shops. Apart from that, a great place to shop.

Wow, wow, wow!!! What an amazing shopping experience! I have never seen anything quite like this place. The set up, the authenticity of the building, the towers which stand like statement pieces. The open bar which houses the original control panels! The lifts that I hear are worth the trip just for the views alone! The array of shops placed in neat rows, side by side. The eateries, such great choices! the Christmas trees, oh what a beautiful sight!! 🎄✨ You cannot fail to be in awe of this location. Walking outside at night you are greeted by the beauty of the towers being lit up, again, Wow!! The apartment buildings that surround the front of the building give it that extra sense of something pretty special. Got to be seen to appreciate it. The only negative? As you walk away from this experience, you are greeted to the real world across the road. I've never understood why they just focus on one small area when there is a world that surrounds it in need of some great TLC.

In recent years Battersea Power Station has seen a lot of changes. New houses, new shops and restaurants as well as a new underground station. Battersea Park near by. Nice place to walk along the riverside.

I went there on a group tour of the architectural/engineering aspects of the building, not to go to the shopping emporium within! However we had to go through the shopping areas to reach parts of interest to us and I have to say it would be an impressive shopping experience for anyone it has been a splendid re-use of an iconic building that might have otherwise been demolished and much of the original features still remain in place. Well worth a visit.

Battersea Power Station on the day that it's new Transport for London Underground Tube station opened. The first major expansion of the London Underground this century. This is one of the first of two new Northern Line Undergound stations to be opened for 80 years.

I love this newly renovated and repurposed iconic power station. I have visited and photographed this place for decades, and it’s great to see this place come to life again, especially with its sympathetic design preserving and revealing its past. There’s a good amount of shops and restaurants, all in the pricier side though, and an outdoor area overlooking the Thames river. Access is easy via bus or dedicated tube station.

Wow such an amazing place. From the Christmas decorations to the atmosphere, to the location and the architecture. I just loved it. I also loved the sense of space. It was very busy but it didn't even feel like it was as the space is so vast. I cannot wait to go back during the day too.

This mall is awesome! It used to be an industrial building, but now it's a really modern and stylish place to shop. There are so many different stores, and it's right in the city center, so it's easy to get to. Highly recommended. There is a light show at night which I am looking forward to watch pretty soon.

Located on one of the most trendiest and posh part of London, Battersea Power Station is an amazing and great place to shop and unwind. I went there in December 18,2023 during the festive season and the place is full of surprises and entertainment for families and occasional shoppers. The shopping mall is trendy and very clean considering it was a power station in the past. Most of the shops are highend brands that cater towards high earners. The facilities are neat and clean. Good elevators service for disabled access. Highly recommended for those who have all the means for shopping otherwise, excellent for those who do window shopping and landmarks hopping. Highly recommended

This place has suffered a total change, it is really nice and full of life for families and friends to visit, spend the day on a picnic, enjoy the view, shopping, and having a drink. I could also find a lot of people taking their pets out. There is a playground for kids which could be easily crowded. In the shopping centre there are still a few shops waiting to be opened yet plenty to see and enjoy. Worth the visit.

A must-see for all Pink Floyd fans (it is on the cover of Animals), it can be kind of heartbreaking to find out that it’s become a residential area (for super wealthy people, needless to say), and part of its original structure has been suffocated by a glass building. Still, it’s worth seeing.

The place has been done up really well and there's a decent selection of food and drink options around. Lots of green space to chill out in and good views around London from the river as well. It's usually pretty busy on the weekend so whatever you're doing you may need to queue or wait, but that's indicative of the appeal the place has.

Clean, well designed, elegant, funky, classy, something different, something cool and a nice place to end up. Came to London to get my bike serviced in the nearby Van Moof shop. Walked down to the Riverside to enjoy a cup of tea and a bite to eat. Lovely experience. Will come back with my Wife soon and spend more time.

Amazing place to shop. There are tons of stores and shops to see. Very walkable and easy to spend a whole day here. Would highly recommend for someone who wants a good mall/shopping center in the London area. The history and experience of the place is also worth checking out. The use of space and how a historical building could be kept and re-used for a shopping venue blew me away. Great place to visit and would certainly come again.

Been to the Battersea Power Station two times. I have to say, it’s a beautiful shopping center redeveloped from the original power station. Lots of shops and restaurants and easily accessible with an underground station nearby and two railway stations are within walking distance. Definitely worth a visit!

Such an interesting area ! I had a lot of fun walking around outside as well as the shopping area inside. It is so interesting and the perfect blend of the old and the new. It was very busy - so is clearly popular and has playgrounds and other amenities around. Cool space especially around Christmas.

November evening visit to one of London's most iconic buildings. The developers have done an amazing job both inside and out. Open til 9pm and beautifully lit up. Worth the trip on the southbound Northern Line. Plenty of opportunities to spend every single penny you have or just have a look around. Loved it.

Amazing redevelopment, beautiful architecture, lovely shops, restaurants and bars. Lots of security makes you feel super safe. Amazing apartment buildings and just a lovely place. Doesn't feel like you're in Central London, more like a high class 5 star riverfront resort. Stay in the 4 star Art 'Otel with pool/jacuzzi 16 floors up on the roof and rooftop bar too. Battersea Power station redevelopment is absolutely stunning!

Lots of money spent on creating this new shopping mall . Vast space with shops & restaurants. Industrial/ modern feel. Shops leaning towards the wealthier / select client . However there is Adidas, uni qlo ,etc for more budget savvy Worth a look ....still growing / new businesses opening up .....

What an amazing transformation it is awe inspiring to see the result of all the work done in the conversion. Thankfully that this great building has been preserved. getting there was easy and once inside the cavernous building there is plenty ty to see shops galore and places to eat and drink. We booked ahead for the lift 109, which is a fab experience and very well run. all in all highly recommended

I love the look of this iconic building and it looks very chic now that it is a shopping mall. Mostly high end stores and a wide choice of restaurants in the food hall. It looked magical at Christmas, with an ice skating rink outside by the river and small Christmas market. Highly recommended a visit, even just to see the power station now it has been put to good use and renovated.

This place is really amazing. Not the best shop selection but there are definitely some good stores here. The power station itself is really impressive especially when lit up at night. Some nice food places and cocktail places here as well. Definitely worth a visit when you are in London! Very interesting and I like how they give information about the power station scattered around.

Fairly new mall south of the river in the old power station now converted to this very large mall with a great vibe... I visited on Saturday so very busy and crowded. The promenade in front is also active with seasonal festivities. A great visit for all the family.

Impressive structure. Visited for the jubilee bank holiday weekend and was really pleased with the entertainment, food and set up. Loved that it was open to all and not fenced off for those that can afford crazily expensive apartments.

Interesting to see how they have developed the power station and regenerated the whole area. There are a few eateries there and it's a great view of the Thames both ways. Okay to spend a few hours at and have coffee or a drink.

We went to see the festival of lights illuminating the old Battersea power station and this was the first time I’ve visited the area. I’ve passed by it a few times while on the river cruise and have heard about its transformation over the years but never got around to visiting. The lights were nice, minimal. A few (3) large works of art that were worth the trip and made for great photo ops but not over whelming. The real star of the show was the power station building itself and the cream towers lit up! So iconic and a beautiful work of architecture! Stand in the right spot and you can see plains fling over head framed by the towers. The shops inside are great and the lift tower experience is worth it to say that you have seen the city vista from a unique angle. We went at dusk and watched the sun go down and the city lights come on! Easy to get to from the tube and load of restaurants but all on the expensive side as you can imagine for the area. The best bit is the display inside giving you a free history lesson about the Battersea power stations past! Well work a visit!
