Lovely coffee and cake served by really friendly ladies. Parking can be tricky at busy times but a nice spot to relax and watch the world go by.

we loved Benvenuti! our first time in Dumbarton and this little coffee shop was easy to find with google maps, friendly and timely service. the cappuccino was tasty and generous in size. I had a delicious scone that was warmed with butter and jam on the side. then after a while my husband and I shared a tasty sandwich. everything comes fresh. the decor/ furniture is comfortable, but not so cozy if you’re looking for more of a coffee-house vibe. but this is a wonderful place!

Where do I start with this lovely cafe. My friend and I are regular visitors. Delicious , beautifully presented food and drinks. Busy place. Recommended

Super cafe. Stopped for a snack during bike ride. Scones, Bakwell tart, coffee and service were all great. All looked and tasted homemade. For cyclists it's v handy for NCN7 Glasgow -> Loch Lomond.

Only has a coffee which was really nice. What I wanted from the kitchen was no longer available as I arrived late. Premises nice and clean. Staff very pleasant. Coffee delicious. Like the Terminator, I'll be back!

I visit Benvenuti every week on one of my days off work. The food and service are usually great. Today I took my pal for lunch. His wife us seriously ill in hospital and he is obviously very stressed. The girl who brought us menus didn't speak and just put the menus in the table. I asked another waitress for butter and salt and pepper and both were brought to the table without a word spoken. Shocking and rude service and I'd be annoyed in general but im even more annoyed as I took my pal for lunch to help him as he is very anxious about his ill wife. I will not be back at Benvenuti!!

Stopped in as i was passing through on my bike so wasnt to far off the cycle path. Well worth it as the staff were very helpful Kind and loved their jobs coffee was great and cakes are to die for hidden gem well definitely be back

Great wee cafe. Really clean. Good food and decent prices. FEB'23: Been a while since my last visit, glad to report Benvenuti is a great choice of eatery: very clean, food is excellent. Comfortable and modern surroundings and excellent service from Karen and her chum. Full Scottish all-day breakfast, Inclusive of 2 eggs, Black pudding, 2 rashers, beans, potato scone, square slice, slice of toast, 4 coffees.. circa £25.00. All cooked fresh and ready in 10 mins !... 5 star rating from me !...

Lovely visit here for breakfast . Staff were friendly and welcoming the location is on a main rd and has parking behind the building which is handy. I have given this a 4 instead of a 5 only because they don't have a vegetarian breakfast on their menu . Saying that I had delicious scramble egg,beans, potato scone,toast and tea there was plenty and freshly made . We would visit this little place again

Lovely staff and cakes were superb! My husband's first outing from the nursing home opposite the cafe. The staff were fantastic with him.

To start off I would just like to say I wish there was an option for zero stars because I’m so very disappointed with not only the food that was served to us but also the service that was provided. When we arrived to the cafe we weren’t even greeted with a warm welcome only greeted with silence to be just pointed to our seats no words spoken. I work in this industry and know how to greet customers, this service I was provided was absolutely appalling. When seated it took a good 10 minutes for us to be given menus. Our orders where took pretty fast, this was the only thing fast about this cafe everything else was as slow as a week in jail. Once our orders had been took our drinks were brought out first which is obviously normal in any restaurant/cafe, but to my understanding food is meant to be brought out shortly after. Unfortunately this was not the case and the food took almost 50minutes to be brought out. Not once did any member of staff come up to us to let us know our food was on its way or say sorry for our wait. When the food eventually did come out our soup was cold and our so called toastiest looked like sandwiches. I’m never one to sit and give bad reviews about anywhere because I know what it’s like to work in this industry but to not only be provided a shocking service receiving bad customer service made the experience overall sour. I was recommended this place. I really wish I wasn’t. WONT BE BACK.
