Loved this little rest stop! A fantastic little cafe, delicious food, lovely people - great for lunch, even better if you're passing by on the canal not far away.

Proper scone. Homemade, just how a scone should taste, delicious. Loved the different tea cups and saucers. R x

Lovely afternoon tea for four people. We were served what I think may have been the largest scones ever, which were amazing. Good service, reasonably priced.

What an absolute delight of a place. We sat outside around the back & had pulled pork sandwiches. Utterly delicious on a proper scuffler. Adorable mix & match vintage style crockery which I thought was adorable! Really lovely staff as well. I can't wait to go back and sample the rest of the menu. It's so close to where I live I can't believe I have never been before! See you soon!

Cosy and quiet with great coffee and desserts - loved it! I cannot wait to move to the area and to start visiting regularly. Great job to the people running it - we need more like you! :)

Small inside with limited seating in poor weather, but lots of seating outside if weather is good. Modest main meal portion. Didn't get to try the cakes. You need to fetch your own cutlery and water. Table very wobbly and my coffee was in danger of being spilled by partners attempts to cut his food. Popular with females and well visited on a Friday lunch time. No alcohol on sale.

I love Rivers Meet. Lovely food. Always gluten free options. I like all the vintage crockery and the little shop. Such a good atmosphere.

I arrived just too late for the breakfast - but was allowed to order it! Maybe that’s why it was not crispy bacon (absolutely properly cooked -and maybe I should specify it I want it crispy!) always a friendly and accommodating place - full of locals (what better recommendation do you need!) I will certainly come again!

Lovely, friendly, bustling cafe - great welcome at the end of a long, wet trek along the river. Delicious scones and a pot of tea in real china, wonderful!

Rivers meet has varied menu including gluten free options, using local produce. My kids love it because they have free wifi and they can enjoy their tablet time along with their favourite rocky road cake and when accustomed to environment they would start chatting to other cafe visitors- my kids (9 and 11) always ask to go there. Friendly staff and other customers, really busy during lunch time. I love the vintage mix and match plates, tea pots and cups, the decor, the little craft shop and the event posters of craft clubs/meet ups.

Must be on a strict budget here, tightest portion sizes I’ve ever seen. 7 pounds for 1 bacon 1 sausage, never again. I wouldn’t mind if the food was quality however the bacon was tough and the sausages were disgusting, I would be able to count on one hand the amount of beans I was given, as well as the ridiculous half an hour wait

Lovely place to have a coffee and cake. All products are home made and delicious. It's not posh but it's really welcoming, warm and friendly. I would recommend to everyone
