the cafe is nice. you can come with the dog. it is shaded and overlooks the garden but not the river. the coffee tasted very good! we were a little disappointed with the breakfast. we ordered the farmhouse breakfast at $29 and the breakfast bagel at $26. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations in terms of the waiting time (45 minutes!), the presentation and the cuisine. The bagel was served in a plastic basket and the yolk spilled out of the basket onto the table. one should serve the bagel on a plate. the farmhouse breakfast was not properly warm. the beans made a mess on the plate because they weren't served in a small bowl. the sausage was almost cold and tasteless. the bacon, on the other hand, was crispy and well fried. the eggs almost cold. Overall impression: the breakfast is not appropriate for the price and the waiting time. the service was extremely friendly. Didn’t want to send the almost cold farmhouse breakfast back, cause we waited long time for it wanted to wait again for another one.

A beautiful venue overlooking a park/river along with a great walking trail. Staff were very friendly and attentive throughout the time we were there. Food was a little bland though.

I went to that place to have breakfast. Very nice atmosphere with outdoor or sheltered tables. All eggs are free range 👍 I grabbed the rosti with hollandaise sauce, it was OK but I would have expected some dressing on the salad. The hone made rosti was good though. My friend had the big breakfast and it was definitely massive I appreciated the large choice of tea

Very small portions for the price paid. Tried the lasagna which was ultimately warmed up slop on a plate. Pretty dismal customer service at times, failed to be acknowledged while waiting to order and zero eye contact or any engaging interactions. Lengthy wait for both drinks and food (relatively quiet at the time). Luke warm coffee (apparently served at 60 degrees) would be ideal to mention this when placing order and have the option to request it to be hotter as these details are lost in the lengthy menu.

It is a great location, great place with plenty of space for kids and pets, a good outdoor area with a walking track, good to have a coffee ☕ break after some walking 🚶‍♂️ and exercises. We had the Farmhouse Breakfast and Corn Fritters for breakfast, found the food average and a bit pricey, coffee ☕ was good.

Visited here with a friend of mine one morning. A nice spot close to grassed areas, the river and walking trails. The coffee was decent! But the same cannot be said for the roast veg muffin. Please take off the menu. It looks deeply unappetising once on the plate and does not taste good at all 🥲 it’s also more like a quiche (but vegan and gf) It seems others have agreed that the food was average but coffee is good! Would go here again but not for food :) Staff were nice too

Love this place, coffees are great, and they have a decent menu. The kids love the park for a bike ride and I get to have my coffee, can't do better than that!

The place is nice. Good atmosphere. My concern was there is a mask mandate on and MAMIL’s (Middle Aged Men In Lycra) that ride bikes seem to be above that when ordering. Apparently they don’t need to wear a mask like the rest of us and no one picks them up on it. Ordered the Farm House Breakfast with Gluten Free toast. The menu says $2.00 extra, the bill says nearly double that at $3.50. Not enough to complain about, however enough for me to warn others that can ask for the correct price as they order, and take a star off my rating. Admittedly the Gluten Free toast tasted like the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had. As you know though… that’s not the point. Would I go back? Absolutely. Only I’ll tell them “I’m only paying the price on the menu” next time.

The coffee here was first class. And the service was excellent. The cake I ordered was dry, but ok. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our special requests. Very happy.

Such a beautiful location, first time here, this cafe just located a step away from the river, it’s perfect for a sunny day, however, we came on a gloomy day, only a small area is undercovered. Started raining as soon as we sat down. Was told we have to wait 30mins for our food, and the food came out after 45mins. We love the Shakshuka on the special page, ceasar salad, breakfast waffle and salmon Benny are not bad, but nothing special. We like the wagyu beef Patty but we all don’t like the texture of the burger bun. The highlight is the sweet potato fries! It’s the best I ever had, highly recommended. My soy latte tasted a bit blend, also I don’t like the taste of their soy milk. We can have a walk around the bush land after meal, there is a play ground for kids.

A great place to discover Gluten free meals, even though you aren’t requiring GF dietary!! I’m a repeat customer because I wanted to try everything on the menus. The crispness of their hot chips is just the way I like. My tummy is always feeling satisfying without feeling guilty after leaving this place 🤩 Also love their hot drinks so much. They have the most various options of plant based milk that I’ve ever seen 🎉🎉🎉 I don’t have a photo of their Vietnamese pork belly dishes in this review but I’m highly recommended this dish too 🥰

Great location. Wagyu beef burger was ok but wasn’t impressed with our Japanese pancake. Overwhelm with all the sauces in that dish - causing the soggy texture and overly sweet taste. Also, we waited 20 mins for the table to be cleared.

$22 on these two items (chia seeds pudding $10 and $12 for a small smoothie). The pudding was bland and the smoothie was average.

Nice place to sit and have a coffee. It is dog friendly. Has a lovely place to walk before or after your meal. Seems to be a starting point for a Kayak tour? Only downside is they don't have any food for dogs on their menu.

Good location, coffee is in average quality but the food is lower than average quality.

Lovely location, food was very expensive. Iced coffee $9.50 that was a shock !!! ( about $6.50 value) half serve fish and chips $18.00 it was nice but really prob about a $10 price would have been more realistic. I opted for the side serve of coleslaw for extra $2, I swear there was no more than a tablespoon of coleslaw. I'm all for supporting small business but this was too much$$

Great service. Very quick from order to table and can order through website to table so very convenient. Amazing location. Great for doggies. Food and coffee was just ok, not bad but not amazing. Will be back for sure.

The prices are way too much and not really worth the high prices. At first they gave me the wrong sandwich and sold something that I had already paid for to someone else. They did give me something else and gave me back the difference. The servers were nice though, and the view is nice. And I was able to take my dog there.

A lovely place to have a coffee or a meal. The surrounding are very pleasant and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, the food is pretty average. The cafe presents itself as somewhat healthy, but a handful of green stuff dropped on the top of a meal doesnt exactly make it healthy nor good tasting. Couple that with a huge helping of potato chips on the side and the theme is sort of lost. The meals for our group were underwhelming, any dressing for the salad was under the salad and on top of the meal making for a dry salad and a soggy meal. Overall, a lovely place for a coffee but not sure I would eat there again.

A very poor experience I ever encountered at a cafe. I have to wait the food for an hour🤦🏻‍♀️, the taste of the fish tacos was ok but the chips and Wagyu burger are awful. Most of chips are broken into small pieces and the burger was hard and salty 😔. So sad that I supposed to offer a nice brunch to my sister for her birthday but end up with this disappointed service. This was the first time I went there and I don’t think I will go again 🙅🏻‍♀️

Lovely for a bite to eat and delicious coffee. Great location and perfect start or finish for a walk. Right near Cannington and across from Ferndale area so very accessible. Great for kids with grass area too. Recommend for good coffee and friendly service.

Spent A whopping $40 on just myself, excluding my husband’s breakfast. I ordered the farmhouse breakfast it’s definitely not worth the $29 I spent. The eggs were okay but Luke warm, I minus the sausage and bacon because I don’t eat that meat and replaced it with smoked salmon and spinach. The roast tomatoes weren’t even warm, they came straight out of the fridge, my plate was missing the mushrooms and the spinach look like it was thrown on the plate. Honestly they need to review their prices, if you’re going to serve meals like that, you need to charge a lot less. We waited for over 30 minutes for something that was below average. I could’ve made something better at home. Staff were very nice, but very very busy and atmosphere, absolutely gorgeous.

Nice location. I had an excellent long black, very nice well balanced favour, not sour or bitter, well done. Service was very slow, and they insist on you providing them with a table number, even when you haven't chosen one yet, and even when you're sitting in an area with one other customer. Just give the customer that little bit of service, it's not that hard.

A great place to relax, order something tasty, enjoy the beautiful view from the veranda. The order is prepared very quickly, the food is delicious, friendly staff. I would highly recommend this cafe and the park itself for a great pastime.

Ordered 2 cups - Ice chocolate and ice long black. 2 cups cost me $16 (I paid by cash, so that price does not include any EFTPOS surcharge). I’ve been ordering these 2 drinks for years and it’s the first time I’m been charged $16. Taste wise the pictures speaks for itself. There are better coffeeshops out there.

Absolutely stunning location. The venue has a really relaxed and warm atmosphere. Friendly staff. It's certainly worth a visit just for the surroundings. The food is mostly good, their big breakfast is delicious and we have never had a bad drink here, after several visits. The Wagyu burger was slightly disappointing, whilst fresh, it lacked a bit of flavour. One minor let down to what is otherwise a fabulous place, would definitely recommend.

Came here last weekend with friends. Very cozy ambience as it is next to the park & and the playground that the kiddos love. Excellent and super friendly service. My 3 years old son was crying and screaming because he was bitten by an insect when he was at the playground. A few of their service crews keep checking on how we are doing and also offer us insect repellent 🙂 The only downside is their tables are quite limited, so remember to book a table if you are planning to come. What surprised us was the fries, love the outside crisp of the fries, and it is very crunchy 😋

Lovely location with beautiful surroundings. I wasn’t impressed with my chicken and salad. Croutons were stale, lettuce wasn’t fresh and the chicken was like one of those frozen crumbed paddies that you would buy out the freezer from a supermarket, it was just awful. overpriced for what it is, $29😣🙁The egg wasn’t even cooked, the white was runny. My husband had a burger the size of a junior whopper for a whopping $28. It’s disgusting that they charge so much for what you get. I am annoyed at myself for not asking for my money back. Wouldn’t be going back ever again.
