I wasn't expecting to see such beautiful decoration when I looked from the outside. It is a grade II listed building with some old mining machines and blackboards as decoration. Loved it! My friends and I also like the idea that the profit of the cafe goes to a Fund which support the local Garden and Museum. Food and coffee was also good. Great place to visit! Also dog friendly 🙂

Great restaurant with FREE gardens, kids play area's and museum. Plenty of space for ball games. Never packed we always find space. Throughout the year events are held here so highly recommend. Also very popular for weddings. Also in the courtyard is a selection of artist shops so great to find something unique.

Based in former industrial building next to mining museum. Very nice atmosphere and interesting artefacts in situ. Friendly efficient service. Most important ,good food in presentation and taste.

Went here with my grandson while mummy had her eyelashes done and the service was great, really nice atmosphere too. The lady even gave him a peppa pig book to read, such a lovely cafe 💙

What a lovley place!!! IT was very busy Morning for the Caffee but the Staff were amazing! We had a small kid and 2 dogs. We were well looked after. We even got babycino and puppycino. What a gem!!!! Thank you very much to all of you this Morning. You are wonderful!

It was fairly difficult to find even with Satnav. But we got there and the cafè is lovely. Not the slickest service process tbh, but the food, whilst not generous is well cooked and nicely presented (Cornish breakfast), however the sausage 'bap' was actually a burger bun and disintegrated around the filling. The sausage itself very nice. The environment is interesting being an element if a mine. Some small notices, like in art galleries, giving a brief description of the equipment etc would be useful.

We love coming up here! I’ve been disappointed that the menu changed and the avocado on toast had been removed - the other vegan options are either massive or a bap. Luckily, today it was a special so I got to have my favourite breakfast! Please bring it back to the menu (or keep it as a special)!

Without doubt lovely quality breakfast, but sadly an hour waiting for it took all the pleasure away from enjoying it. The sign said service was slow but after 2 tables were served who arrived after us, and longer waiting than we thought was appropriate, we were disappointed 😞

Felt that prices could have been more competitive and please no dogs. Surely not necessary for dogs. We had a Grandchild with us who has health issues and a really bad dog phobia but dog owners were happy for the dogs to bark at each other even though they could see the distress it was causing. I asked a member if staff and had a shoulder shrug needless to say we had to be the ones to leave.

Converted mining workshop is smart clean and has good menu, with many vegetarian, vegan options and there's also allergy awareness too. It was Saturday lunchtime on our visit so they were quite busy, but orders were done and served in good time. The two cornish all day breakfast we had were delicious, good thick bacon, quality produce, well cooked and plentiful.

Really good food quality, good portions and prices! Customer service very good and they even ask if you have any allergies before getting seated. Lots of space for disabled access and quick waiting times. Will definitely be recommending and coming back most weeks as my new weekly treat.

One of the best breakfast I've had in a long time, eggs I swear were cooked in butter, the service was amazing and coffee was great. My kids enjoyed their rolls and my ither half love his scrambled eggs of toast amazing

We went for brunch this morning, greeted immediately and told that we could choose to order via app at the table or come to counter when we were ready. We ordered via app, very user friendly. Had a pot of tea and all day breakfast each. I love that you can choose how you want your eggs! Very reasonable price, served promptly and was delicious! Will definitely be back, thank you!

Went for a coffee only but asked if anything was Gluten free ? No was reply. Expensive Noisy. People who own around the gardens or on the gravel near the Cafe , Be RESPONSIBLE and pick UP AFTER YOUR DOG there are plenty of Dog poo Bins about!

Great food and I let the staff know too. They accommodated a family of six despite being busy. This was a great restaurant. Really fab and a good highlight of our visit.

Came for breakfast this morning with my partner and left quite disappointed. Although the iced coffee’s were nice and one breakfast was reasonable, we were very upset with the eggs florentine and the service that was given to us. My partner ate a few bites and didn’t like the flavour, I tried some too and agreed that it didn’t taste nice at all. We asked for a partial refund and was declined and weren’t offered any sort of replacement for the meal that was hardly eaten. We left feeling quite deflated and will definitely not be returning anytime soon.

No problem with the food, very reasonable. Unfortunately the service (rather lack of) was extremely poor . A sign says 'wait here to be seated' after waiting an age with not one member of staff letting us know they would be with us (even though it was obvious we had been waiting), we had to ask if we could go and take a seat to which we were told yes (why have the sign) to top it all off people who arrived after us got seen to first, all in all from turning up to eventually receiving our cooked breakfast took about 50 minutes and it didn't seem overly busy. Won't be coming back or recommending.

Loved the place. Great vibe and delicious breakfast. Ordered small breakfast and toast with strawberry jam with hot chocolate and capuccino. Staff was amazing and very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
