I can't give it full marks as it was just a pop in visit, so I can only give it 4/4! This is billed as the largest garden centre and I can believe it. The cafe was terrific. A bit on the pricey side but worth it. Lots of gifts for all occasions. Excellent wheelchair access.

A holiday to the South Lakes would be incomplete without a visit to Hayes garden centre. A very good range of stock both in and outdoors. However beware very expensive. For example a peg back here cost £10 whereas in Wilkinson's we bought one for £1.99. Does the same job. They do have nice displays which is why you an enjoy looking around without buying anything. That's the theory, in practice we always come out with something. On this occasion it was air plants.

Huge range of Christmas decoration, full colour as well. If you love Christmas then you'll be like a kid in the candy shop. I know I was like a child in this place. It's a great feeling. Come visit.

We booked "Fairy World Magic Kingdom". Looking for Fairies 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️ & Leprechauns 🍀 was one of the best activities we have done in the last couple of weeks. Even my son who is nearly 10 enjoyed this trail. I loved it too, I felt like little girl again too 🦄🤩 Staff were so friendly and you could see how much heart and time they have put in to create this magical place. We will definatelly come back if they do another activity.

The four seasons cafe at the garden centre is superb, views on the outside terrace are amazing. Service is first class, nice to have table service. Food very yummy, ample portions. Well worth a visit. Garden centre very good displays, loved the old vehicles collection. Of course you never leave empty handed👍

We popped in when we had a spare 20 mins to escape the sun, really surprised at the sheer size of the place. Really good gifts and plants available. We didn't have long so didn't see everything on offer but we were impressed by what we did see. Great pet section, really good outdoor plants on offer and some of the outdoor furniture sets available were incredible.

Phenomenal service - would give them 10 stars if I could! I bought a 3.5m Palermo parasol in 2022 which arrived in good time. It was late in the year for outdoor living in Scotland but when we put it up, we could not get the tilting mechanism to work. Several calls & video clips of me struggling, Richard Clark (?) agreed to send a replacement. Weather was lousy so when it arrived I did not put it up - till this week. Unfortunately in my haste to return the original one last year - I must have returned the handle required to open and rotate the parasol. I called and got Richard again on the Monday - who immediately said he’d check to see if there was one in he warehouse. It arrived today (Wednesday) - now that’s what I call service. Thank you so much - it’s perfect for this heatwave!!!.

Nice looking place with massive choice. Plants comparing to Grasmere Garden Centre more expensive however choice is far greater here. Large car park, usually its not too busy. Definitely worth visiting.

Probably the most beautiful garden centre I have ever seen. The displays are impressive even to the finest detail. The soap display is a sensory feast of music, colour and delightful scents. It is a huge circular building with access to the centre plant area from all indoor areas. The plant area has a stunning backdrop of a green hill with sheep grazing. There is something for everyone.

A lovely trip out to Hayes with some amazing products and yes dare I say it the Christmas section is now open. The only down side is that it's very pricey.

Used the cafe and staff were so polite and helpful. Had a really nice gluten free roll and lemon pie. Filter coffee strong and hot. Toilets lovely and clean. Christmas display was lovely and plenty to choose from

A lovely but pricey garden center with a big Christmas display, the food let it down. In the Cafe - all disappointing apart from the fig salad which was nice. Bad fish and chips, bad jackets with chilli. Beautiful stain glass windows. Very busy with people. A mixed bag.

👍👍 Lovely and spacious coffee shop with fine food. I wanted to try their mulled wine and mince pie (perhaps the best price in town too), but sadly they don't serve them for breakfast 😃 Nice choice of pastries

👍👍 What can I say about Fresher's Cafe! Its so rare these days that you visit anywhere that far exceeds your expectations! But Fresher's does just that. If I could rate this place 6 stars I would. 👍👍 We came here on a whim and we are glad we did. We had 2 milkshakes both of which were great, tasty and they didn't skimp on the toppings. The Lemon cake was very tasty, full of flavour and so soft and fluffy and easy to eat. The place is great for singles, couples and families alike. Highly recommen...
