The property is impeccably cared for by the National Secretary of Culture, in the camp there is a guide who knows the entire history of the place, so the visitor not only observes and takes photos, but also acquires new knowledge. I entered through a road that is very close to the city of Pirayu, which is very well maintained. RECOMMENDED!

A unique place to see the army headquarters in the triple alliance (1864-1870) It is worth knowing it and listening to the brilliant guide of Don Alcides, who gave us invaluable information. The entrance has a soft dirt road that is easy to navigate even with low cars. Maybe a day after raining it wouldn't be a good idea to visit it 😅 Visit him!

Excellent place? You enter 6 km of dirt, good road throughout. There are benches and shade to share something. Great guides.

A beautiful place with a lot of history, a camp from the time of war, it is a shame that it will be very empty or it would be good if they donated furniture to better recreate that historical past.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful place, only a voluntary contribution is paid for road maintenance. The caretaker and historian who is in the house explains the history of the camp very well. Highly recommended to visit on non-rainy days (Original) Hermoso lugar solo se paga un aporte voluntario para mantenimiento de camino. Excellent site. Recommended to remember our people and what the War of the Triple Alliance was.... I hope the government recovers all the lands and values everything that has to do with that very important site for our Paraguayan history!

A place full of history, the guide very attentive and friendly. It's a shame the dirt road and the wooden bridges are in such poor condition (it was scary to cross them). I don't understand why the tourism ministry doesn't do something to improve access and put up more signs, despite that, it is worth visiting.
