I
visited
King’s
College
a
long
ago
with
my
friend.
It
is
one
of
the
oldest
and
most
prestigious
colleges
of
the
University
of
Cambridge,
founded
in
1441
by
King
Henry
VI.
It
is
located
in
the
heart
of
the
city,
facing
the
King’s
Parade,
and
has
a
magnificent
chapel,
a
large
library,
and
beautiful
gardens.
We
joined
a
guided
tour
of
the
college,
which
gave
us
a
lot
of
interesting
information
about
its
history,
architecture,
and
culture.
We
saw
the
famous
King’s
College
Chapel,
which
is
one
of
the
finest
examples
of
late
English
Gothic
architecture.
It
has
the
world’s
largest
fan
vault,
stunning
stained-glass
windows,
and
a
magnificent
organ.
We
also
saw
the
choir
stalls,
where
the
renowned
Choir
of
King’s
College
sings
every
day
during
term
time.
We
also
visited
the
library,
which
has
a
rich
collection
of
books,
manuscripts,
and
artworks,
including
some
by
Isaac
Newton
and
Charles
Darwin.
We
enjoyed
the
views
of
the
River
Cam
and
the
famous
Mathematical
Bridge.
It
is
a
stunning
and
impressive
college
that
represents
the
excellence
and
tradition
of
Cambridge.
