King's College is, of course, the most spectacular of all the 31 colleges in Cambridge, many of which you can visit during the summer months. It's a MUST for all first-time visitors of the city, but this wasn't my first time. It's the biggest, the most spectacular, and the most expensive to visit (UKP 12.50 online for a single adult ticket - a bit of a rip-off actually), and there's only a certain contingent of tickets every 15 minutes. Alas, some of the outside walls/buildings were obscured by scaffolding at the time of my visit, but this only momentarily detracted from the beauty and grandeur of the place. The most magnificent part of the college is its near-cathedral-sized chapel, but you can also walk around the expansive grounds for quite a while, crossing the river, looking at the punters below, etc. There's always quite a large number of visitors present. Expect to spend 1-2 hours at this historic site.

The most famous and beautiful college of all Cambridge. Make sure to do the guided tour with the option to visit the inside of Kings college. You will have access to Kings chapel: a stunning Anglican Church with high ceiling, decorated windows, and a small museum that covers the history of the college. Once you finish the chapel tour, go toward the river to enjoy the gardens (they have some strange plants and flowers in there 😅) and the rear view of the college. All in all it is a must if you are visiting Cambridge.

Amazing place. We could enter for free to listen to the evening songs, with a wonderful choir. Inside the church it is breathtaking, the artwork in the ceiling and the stained glass windows are amazing. Regrettably, they do not allow photos inside, but I'm adding a few of the gardens and the river.

I visited King’s College a long ago with my friend. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges of the University of Cambridge, founded in 1441 by King Henry VI. It is located in the heart of the city, facing the King’s Parade, and has a magnificent chapel, a large library, and beautiful gardens. We joined a guided tour of the college, which gave us a lot of interesting information about its history, architecture, and culture. We saw the famous King’s College Chapel, which is one of the finest examples of late English Gothic architecture. It has the world’s largest fan vault, stunning stained-glass windows, and a magnificent organ. We also saw the choir stalls, where the renowned Choir of King’s College sings every day during term time. We also visited the library, which has a rich collection of books, manuscripts, and artworks, including some by Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin. We enjoyed the views of the River Cam and the famous Mathematical Bridge. It is a stunning and impressive college that represents the excellence and tradition of Cambridge.

It's a pity that May to June is the exam time of Cambridge University Many colleges do not allow visitors to enter King's College is one of the few attractions that is still open to tourists. But be aware that only half of the college is open for sightseeing King's College Chapel won't take much of your time to visit But all in all it's worth paying 13 pounds to get in and see There's a bit of history in it about the Wars of the Roses At the same time, the architectural style is very special and stylish If you have time, you can sit on both sides of the left auditorium and feel it slowly Besides, the trails of the River Cam are covered with white flowers It is worthwhile for tourists to walk slowly and appreciate the "Farewell to Cambridge" mentioned in the poem Imagine Xu Zhimo's life at that time, remember the past Walk to the opposite side of the bridge and you will see a stone monument commemorating the great poet Famous but looks like nothing special But since you paid for it, you must go and see it!

Alhamdulillah, it was great to see one of the world’s famous colleges in Cambridge. The fact that my 12 years old daughter was travelling with me, I wanted her to visit this place with me so that she develops some interest for her higher studies.

A beautiful place for a walk in the sunshine, soak in some sunlight and some history as you stroll around one of Cambridge's oldest Colleges. Enjoy a walk along the river as you look back towards the college. If you're lucky you might even get to see some swans, you will definitely see a punt or two on the river.

The most cleanest college I’ve ever visited! Love the architecture, chapel, park, and the lake. Entrance fee £10 for adult, £8 for student.

The chapel is indeed impressive but for the ticket you get told to see the chapel and then the rest of the grounds but there isn’t really much else to see. So it’s just the chapel, and for that reason I feel like it’s miss-sold. Over promised.

A beautiful college, and I just cannot admire the chapel and stained glass windows enough. Absolutely thrilling. Just sitting in the chairs and staring up is amazing.

Astoundingly beautiful. The vaulted ceiling is mind blowing. I loved the side chapels with their historical explanations. Well worth a visit if you're in Cambridge. Highly recommended.

🫤 Relatively modern yet not so well maintained buildings. The college is nothing like a Cambridge College. Formal here is relatively expensive given the quality of food and the lackadaisical modern dining hall. The college is also mundanely small, but that's what makes it a bit more closed knit I supp...
