The atmosphere and décor of the place is amazing, they did a good job. I don't know what to say about the music, some good oldies, others way too romantic so much that I felt at a wedding. It was also intermittent. For a few minutes it stopped and the place was in complete silence and suddenly the radio sounded. Yes, that made me feel at the time of the place, live the complete experience. As for the food.. I didn't like it, very tasteless even with the sauces, I tried 2 sushi roles. I also tried 2 drinks and felt they lacked alcohol. The old cinnamon fashion lacked alcohol and the giant branch they light and place in the glass is quite uncomfortable, You could still use the branch (it is original and interesting) but serve it next to it. My recommendation would be DON'T take so much risks with seafood. The sea food that arrives in Paraguay is pretty bad and is not so fresh, doesn't taste much or tastes af. Also, they need real spicy. I was quite disappointed, I had very high expectations because of the prices. Service and attention.. idk... The waitress is supposed to know the contents of each meal, but she didn't know anything. I NEED TO KNOW THE CONTENTS, MORE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE ALLERGIC TO CERTAIN FOODS. Thanks

This is a really cool place in Asuncion. From the lobby of the hotel to the speakeasy bar. The staff is professional and some speak English. The drink menu and the food menu are super cool designed. Some of their special drinks have a little story attached. This is not a cheap place. The prices are a bit more then average. The drinks were amazing and the food was tasty. Absolutely loved/loved the music !!! The bathrooms are still with the old building design and they are beautiful. Upstairs there is the room 102.(the original speakeasy). Do check it out. It s worthed.!!! We are glad we went and we recommend it.

I think that compared to the past, the quality of the premises is low. They didn't have an invoice, which seemed strange to me for a restaurant.

Absolutely horrible. Went for a Thursday unlimited Sushi promotion for 100.000 PYG. We couldn't choose what kind of sushi and we could only have some set arranged sushi rolls instead. Cream cheese was being abused, and had to wait for more than an hour for 2 set of sushi rolls. Went in there around 7:40 and left around 10:10 and barely had 5 sets of sushi roll. Once, everyone else was served and I wasn't even served because they didn't bring enough sushi rolls for the table, yet there was not a word of apology. In general, they came in really slowly and when I asked to put the cream cheese out of my sushi, the server said yes but it never just happened. When I asked about it again, she just smiled. I know that having anything perfect in Paraguay generally is hard but this was one of the worst experience that I had in Paraguay. This place is nothing fancy neither but horrendously expensive as well. Leaking water from the AC and wallpaper falling down...

Terrible sushi, the worst I've ever eaten in my life, I saw rats running outside, we went to eat the carvery, the options were always the same, there was even raw onion sushi, appalling. In the rotation we would have the right to be served 6 times, we were served 3 times, with an interval of 1 hour each, to the point that we no longer wanted to eat. Very oily sushi, to be good it needs a lot of improvement. Apart from the price of 100 thousand, they charge 10 thousand for the sticks that are used to eat, sticks which are disposable. I don't recommend the visit.

By far the best sushi in Paraguay. Excellent cocktails. Jazzy vibe. Not the cheapest but you get the quality you are paying for. Recommended.

Speakeasy like bar, with a variety of cocktails, fresh squeezed juice, and excellent service.

My experience with the Brooklyn Hotel was not pleasant: Although the sushi was good, the following are my reasons why I won’t go back: a) 2 drinks cost me 100,000 thousand Guaraníes (way more than other places), and I didn't taste anything spectacular for the price; b) the outdoor spacer does not even have heaters that other places provide for the unusual, yet cold nights; c) the ladies restroom had no toilet paper, no towels to dry hands, and to top it off, the toilet was broken; d) the “promotion” was not even valid anymore. Their IG post wasn’t clear… Several friends complained about it.

đź‘Ťđź‘Ť Very nice experience at Bolsi, I had bife de chorizo rustico with potatoes and fried onions. It was excellent. 400gm of heaven with a cup of malbac and creme brulee to boot. The service was just excellent. Resterant was nice, dining inside but they also had dining outside and had a bakery attached....
