Went for my Aunt's 90th birthday! It was amazing! The food was awesome! Had Patè to start the bread was beautiful, then chicken in mush sauce with new pots, carrots and beans, amazing! Then Ice cream for dessert, the portions were perfect. AND they had a great selection of drinks, I had Bulmers cider. A brill time with family and the service was awesome! Thanks Vita Bella x

Ate on Saturday 19/03. This is our umpteenth time at Vita Bella, this time a double celebration for our son and his partners birthdays. Also had our daughter and her partner. Great guidance as usual for parking, then a friendly welcome at the door. All very relaxed and not rushed from the first drinks in the lobby to the table. Our daughter is a vegan and was given her own separate menu which had plenty to choose from. Can’t go through what everybody had individually but there was fish, pork, venison, lamb and a vegan lushousness and all were beautifully cooked and presented. A couple of us had the lobster bisque for starter which was silky smooth and so tasty. The service is so good and nothing is too much trouble. Some free birthday desserts, chocolate and a small bottle of spirit finished off another great evening. Well done all behind the pass and front of house. I cannot recommend highly enough how good this restaurant is. Well I can actually, it’s great.

Wonderful restaurant, managed very professionally with well trained and attentive waiters. The service was impeccable, the food was timed perfectly with excellent quality and execution. Will be returning soon I am sure.

My favourite restaurant in Essex by far! 😍 We attended tonight to celebrate our anniversary. As always, the food was amazing, the service was on point, and the wine was great. Ah this place is honestly amazing. I came today with my dad and step mum and the food was heavenly. I struggle to eat but I ate everything that I ordered. The customer service is impeccable and they are so attentive and kind. Thank you so much to everyone who was working and the owner who gifted my dad a bottle of alcohol homemade by his mother as it was my dads birthday. All I can say is thank you guys xxx

Had a fantastic lunch with my wife in the Vita Bella, to celebrate her birthday. What a wonderful experience! The food, the wine, the service, all top class! The staff even threw in a little "birthday surprise" for my wife in the form of a unique dessert, complete with "dry ice" smoking ice cream, which came with her Tiramisu. It's the little touches like this that entices diners back, and rest assured, we will definitely be coming back! Thank you one and all 👏👏👏

Went to Vita Bella on the 28th January, for a late lunch birthday treat for a friend. The service was the best I have received in a restaurant. The staff could not do enough for you. The lobster starter (soup of the day) was delicious, and I experienced the best chocolate cake. I'm not a sweet tooth, but often try desserts and that was the best! Looking forward to returning.

One of the nicest places I've been in a long time. Will definitely be going back. Lovely food, attentive service and a nice environment. Car park a little small but they manage it well. For 2 of us 3 courses each and drinks was 110, not bad. I'm stuffed 😁

What an incredible experience, as always!! We visited for our first wedding anniversary, and we usually go to Vita Bella for all special occasions. This is because we always receive exceptional service (starting as you drive in!), delicious food, generous portions and incredibly reasonably priced. The portions are so good I couldn't finish my lovely main, so they kindly boxed it up for me to take home! Despite the incredibly hot weather, we really enjoyed our meal last night. All the staff were fantastic, and attentive. They even kindly put a candle on our dessert, wished us a happy anniversary, and we were given Limoncello and two lovely anniversary cupcakes with the bill. Also happy to see they have more cocktails on the menu since we were last there. We made sure to try a few and they were great! Can't wait to come back again soon :)

We love Vita Bella it is al real gem and the location it is amazing! The first time I ate at this restaurant was back in the 2018 where I celebrated my birthday and from there when we have the chance we enjoy to spend time here , the food is superb. They use top ingredients and it is hard to find place outside London that offers this quality. I'm Italian and I'm very pleased to find real italian wines and products at Vita Bella it reminds me home. We always had received great parking guidance ( a very nice touch) , then a very friendly welcome at the door. The menu is rich and vast (vegetarian, vegan etc) and they can please every palate. This time I had the chance to taste "Gnocchi alla Salsiccia" they are amazing I love it. But my really "true love" at this restaurant is the Filetto. I like it with the mushrooms and rare but today I tried the Rossini and it was so good, you can feel the meat melting in your mouth from how tender and taste it is. I cannot recommend highly enough how good this restaurant is. From the owner a very professional and lovely person and all the staff who are friendly, discreet and mindful. A really indipendent business that works hard and you can see how great it is. Well done! GRAZIE.

Heard a great deal about this restaurant, how good it is. So for my wife's birthday I thought we would give it a try ourselves. We were not disappointed, we were welcomed as soon as we arrived and taken to our table. The food was of top quality and was not rushed through. All staff were friendly......and what's more, we were not asked if the food was OK while we had a mouthful as other restaurants do, of which I find rude and annoying. My wife received a small unexpected present the end of our stay as it was her birthday, all wonderfully discreet. All in all, a very nice and tasteful experience, will definitely return.

Came for Sunday lunch today, our first visit, it won't be our last. Very clean restaurant, strict Covid precautions taken. All the staff were very friendly, polite and professional. Very good selection of food/drinks, Veggies/Vegans catered for. Our food was very nicely presented, well cooked and hot. (try the homemade ice cream). Plenty of parking available at the restaurant or in the free Village Hall car park opposite. Recommended Came again on 27/9/21, it was exactly the same as the above post

What an absolutely wonderful place! The service is so nice & beyond amazing without being in anyway intrusive. The attention to detail is really quite outstanding. The food is so delicious, every course & every mouthful and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be recommending this place from the rooftops and beyond! This was our first visit but definitely won't be our last. Everything was perfect about this visit. We were celebrating our Pearl Anniversary with our family the service was exceptional from start to finish, the food was delicious. When we had desert there was a surprise complimentary dessert. When we came to leave we were presented with a gift box containing 2 handmade cakes. All the staff congratulated us as we left - a perfect end to a perfect evening! Thank you Vita Bella

Amazing. From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel special and that nothing was too much trouble. We visited at lunchtime and it was relatively quiet in the restaurant but that suited us. Service was impeccable and good menu choice. Food was stunning. Would definitely return.

Love it every second. The food and the service were great. Staff was friendly and polite, they were interested in our opinion about food, but weren't intrusive. Nice and romantic atmosphere. Definitely I highly recommend it.

If you want a fantastic dining experience then this is the place for you. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special. The staff are polite, well spoken and nothing is too much trouble. We had a terrific 3 course meal choosing from the different menu options and every dish was just superb. The restaurant is well laid out with plenty of space between tables and there is a very relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.

I’ve been to Vita Bella several times and it’s always been 100% perfect every time. Cip and his team are always so welcoming and attentive m, nothing is too much trouble and they always provide perfect service. The food is amazing with great quality ingredients. It's been quite a while since we visited Vita Bella. For the life of me, I really don't know why we have left it so long. The place is lovely. The staff are excellent The food is superb..... Not cheap, at all. But then, as the saying goes, you only EVER get what you pay for. All in all, it was a fantastic evening. I booked a table for Saturday Night to celebrate my wife's birthday. She is from New York and has Italian heritage so I wanted the food to remind her of a bit of home. I wanted to find a restaurant that had great traditional style Italian food, and Vita Bella did not disappoint. The restaurant itself was stunning with white glove service making the overall feel very high class, but still very welcoming to all. The staff were extremely attentive making us feel like locals. Starter, main and deserts were delicious and the portions were perfect. The night was finished off by the owner making sure we were enjoying ourselves, and joining us for a nice chat and a glass of Limoncello. We had such a fantastic night! Thank you Vita Bella, we will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful mid-week dinner here to celebrate a milestone birthday. The atmosphere was warm and lively which set the tone for the rest of the evening. We were made to feel welcome from the start which transcended into a fantastic meal. The menu is varied with something for everyone. Portion sizes were just right, the food being some of the tastiest and most authentic outside of Italy. I have looked for a proper restaurant in the Chelmsford area and this definitely fits the bill. If you want real, fresh delicious food, look nowhere else.

Vita Bella is an absolute masterpiece of a restaurant. When we first went, it was our 8 year anniversary. From the moment we entered the establishment, we was blown away by the absolute prestige of the staff and service I'm general. The food is fresh, made in house and completely sensational. If you are a fan of Italian food, or just fine dining, this is a spot to visit. We visited tonight, our 10 year anniversary and the first meal we have had out since we got engaged. As it was with our first visit, our experience was exemplary and the staff, again, were absolutely outstanding. Our meal was amazing, the gnocchi is a personal favourite, not to mention the delectable tiramisu! They were kind enough to put candles in our desserts and give us free cupcakes to celebrate our special occasion. Due to a lack of foresight on our behalf, we had to wait longer than expected for our cab home. It was 11pm and the staff were cleaning down, instead of kicking us out we were seated in the lounge area and given free drinks whilst we waited. The service experience here is unmatched and you are made to feel extremely welcome and highly valued as a guest. This is now our go to for anniversary celebrations. 10/10 Viva Vita Bella.
