I cant say enough good things about this place. It is certainly one of the best hostels i have ever stayed at. They foster a sense of family and care, the place is super clean, fun, the team there are all extremely caring and thoughtful, the wifi worked perfectly and the backyard was a peace of heaven. Definitely highly reccomend

Nomada is a lovely little oasis in Asuncion. The hostel is clean and quiet, the dorm is spacious and the staff personable and professional. Miguel, the owner/manager is very helpful, accommodating and speaks excellent English, which is a huge bonus for linguistically-challenged/lazy people like me. The snack meals and the beers are very well priced and the kitchen, although small, is well equipped. Above all, the back garden and the pool provide a beautiful quiet haven to chat with fellow travellers when one wants/needs to escape the heat and noise of the streets of inner city Asuncion. Had I known in advance how good Nomada is I would have planned to stay longer than I did. Well done Miguel & Staff.

This is one of the best hostels I’ve been to on my multiple month South America trip. I paid $9 a night for a shared bunk bed room. The prices are fair and the rooms have all the basic amenities you would expect. The overall cleanliness of the entire hostel was outstanding from the rooms, shower, bathrooms, kitchen, to the common areas. They even provided big spray to Sue in the open air common areas to keep the bugs away. The staff really seem to enjoy their roles and the entire hostel feels like family. Just a great place!

I loved my time at Nomada Hostel! It was one of the friendliest, most welcoming, and beautiful hostels I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms were super clean (they were cleaned every day) and the beds were comfortable (the curtains on each bed was a huge plus too!). All the travelers got along very well as the common spaces were big and beautiful to hangout in + the staff was next level and helped everyone feel at home the second you step through the hostel door. Very well located, just about a 10 minute walk from the center of Asunción and had a bus stop pretty much across the street for those who were looking to get to different parts of the city cheaply (bus 38 takes you to about any place you would want to go as a first timer in Asunción, just throwing this out there). A lovely place, couldn’t recommend more! Can’t wait to be back! ❤️

My favourite hostel in South America so far. Lovely staff, nice rooms with a good price for both dorm and single; I stayed in both. Has a small pool which is refreshing on the really hot days. Drinks are a great price, bar open till midnight and a lovely garden. Well-equipped kitchen (no oven) with an inexpensive laundry service. Owner clearly cares about the place and has kept it lovely.

Really nice hostel with a good atmosphere! There is a space to park some motorbikes. Breakfast was good and included in the price. The asado on Saturday was really good, the staff is very nice and the space was clean. Only negative sides: showers are often not warm at all and you can only pay by cash. Please introduce cards payment!!

One of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed in, clean and safe. Helpful and friendly staff. Large outdoor common area with a small refreshing pool. A bar that has good cocktails (I tried the Paraguay Libre for the first time). WiFi works perfectly. The laundry service is great and super cheap.

Loved this hostel so much. They were welcoming and friendly. I felt very safe on the property and the rooms were nice. Plenty of showers and bathrooms for guests and the kitchen was clean. Wifi was very fast and accessible everywhere in the hostel. Space was set up to easily meet other guests without it being a party spot. Bar within hostel is not overpriced and great selection. You can even rent a tereré or mate setup! Things to note: - air-conditioning is used very infrequently, if ever in shared rooms. Room temp was still very comfortable (even chilly one night) but if you think you need AC, book a private room. - breakfast is not always included, but it is not expensive if you'd like to buy breakfast for yourself. - the area the hostel is located is not very safe at night but I personally had no problems and avoided walking on the streets in the evenings. The day time is very safe and it's a great location to get around the city and see downtown. (I was a solo female traveler and was warned about safety by multiple sources in the hostel and outside)

Lovely and nice staff that speaks several languages. Rooms, bathrooms as well as kitchen are clean and cleaned every day. Big outside common area with a little swimming pool and inside common area with TV, books and board games. A bar that has all you need, including good cocktails. WiFi works perfectly fine. Super economic laundry service. For me most important: a safe space to leave my motorcycle. And the icing on the cake are the two cute cats. One of the nicest places I've ever stayed at.

The place is nice and beautiful, but the owner has some estrange rules.

Staff is friendly BUT the hostel is overpriced. Bathroom is very basic, similar to a prison style bathroom, not even a sink or mirror in the bathroom. Some rooms are located in the backyard and feel more like they were garages or storage rooms before converted in rooms. No windows. Staff plays the same music every day till 10 pm in the garden. When asked to lower the music twice, they didn't. Room was very noisy at night because the roof is similar to that of a garage, and trees above it keep touching it, so it gets super noisy. Not what you'd expect for this price.

Service was amazing here - staff extremely helpful and friendly. Offers a fantastic breakfast with lots of variety. There are also very nice places to relax or make friends with other travellers. Definitely lives up to its name as the ‘best hostel in Paraguay’

Spending a couple of weeks here. Despite the pandemic situation, it's been a very pleasant staying here. Room is super, clean and spacious. Garden is amazingly green with flowers and palms. I've seen lots of hummingbirds, and there's a pool as well. Breakfast is included and very delicious! Hosts are super cool, friendly and helpful. Location is good, center is 10mins by walk. Supermercado is a few blocks away. Highly recommend! Thanks for everything, it's been a pleasure meeting you both and staying at your place.
