Feels like eating at Grandma’s house. Great ambience and overall atmosphere. My go to noodles place in Bali. The food taste great, don’t forget to order the Hou Ah Special Noodle and extra suikiaw and soft-boiled eggs. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who like bakmie.

trying to find kid friendly food, so we stopped by this shop, we tried ordering noodles, hainanese rice and kaya toast. Even though kaya toast is relatively expensive, it tastes delicious and the bread is crunchy. However, unfortunately the depot does not have an AC room so it is quite hot and challenging, especially if you bring small children. As far as I know, there are no baby chairs available at this place. How to order: 1. Sit at a table that is available or suits your taste (because the shop is quite small, it will be quite difficult to find a table that suits your taste, especially if you come with a large group) 2. Store staff will come to your table to help take your order 3. Food will be delivered to your table 4. Once finished, you can make payment at the cashier please note, the shop currently only accepts payments by Cash/QR/Debit (not yet accepting payments using credit cards)

It was my first time ordering and i was shocked to see how tiny the portion was for the price. Portion was not even half of the box. You can see the size of the box in reference to my hand. And I have small hands. Noodles arrived super stuck to itself and mushy. The minced pork was tasty though and really could be more.

24 Sept 2023 Try both their special noodles, halus and karet. Taste wise, from their ingredients, it is pretty good, but the noodle itself is not fragrant. Drinks are good. Tea, coffee, and they mix both tea and coffee. Bread toast, nothing special. Will come back to try their chicken rice. Looks pretty good

The food was exceptional, bakmie karet special hou ah and their kaya toast are a must try! The drinks was so so, teh kembang lack of taste, but their honey lemon tea is quite good. Atmosphere is comfortable, typical peranakan cafe. It could be hot at the noon cause there are no aircon.

Recently tried this noodle shop featuring mie karet, mie gepeng, and regular noodles. The ambiance is vintage Chinese, but it’s clean and comfortable with air fans. Bo lo bao appetizer was perfect kind of sweet. And the portion sizes justify the price. The standout is the flavorful pork, especially in the mie karet special hou ah. Overall, a solid 8/10 experience, and I recommend trying the mie karet special. 🍜😊

Best noodle in Bali for sure! A good place to eat every time I go to Bali. The noodle with those toppings is my comfort food. The service is good and the owners are very kind! Love the place & food, it's a must try restaurant!
