This place is highly highly recommended for a number of reasons. The food is incredibly good 👍 I mean balancing the flavors i tasted in this restaurant was beyond amazing 😋. Gourmet portions, beautifully plated, well thought and excuted menu, fusion of flavors and If I may say a little bit of magic in each plate. If you are a person who don't understand or appreciate Gourmet food! i advice you to go to a trattoria instead because you will not understand this sophisticated menù. The plates, setting are beautifully designed and the waiters are magicians. The chef and owner personally visited our table to check on everything. Honestly a must visit place. Second of all this place is historical as it housed the famous aromateria of Ignazio and Vincenzo Florio ! No kidding if you like literature and actually read the book of the florios of Sicily, you must visit! I personally loved the raw calamari, the chesse and salumi, the pasta, the polpo, tartare di manzo and the semifreddo. Great job I'm coming back for sure👏

If your goal is big portion for cheap price, go somewhere else. If you want sophisticated culinary experience, this is like a jackpot! The non-paired meals are obviously delicious on their own. However, I'd recommend the food-drink coupled ones. Matching of the flavours is done with amazing sense for harmony and complementing each other. Our favourite was the dessert: chocolate cube to share.

A nice place with great food. The original taste and combination of food is a nice change from what you can find in Palermo. The prices however are pretty steep for the small portions they serve.

This is an amazing place! Great food, calm atmosphere, safe neighborhood. The staff is friendly and works together as a team to provide an excellent service. I will be recommending this place to friends and family. All of the food was fantastic.

We came across Nova by accident while walking towards another place but we’re really glad we stopped here. The food, service and ambiance were great. Just one of those places you are so glad to have found. The staff recommendations for food and wine were perfect. If you can find this place and eat here, you won’t regret it. Quality beats quantity every day of the week but you will still feel satisfied.

Super impressed by Nova. They had a unique set of dishes called food pairings which were a small bite paired with a cocktail. These tasted incredible! It’s common to see pairings with wine but not with a cocktail. Zenz Pollo/Chicken was my highlight. Every single small plate we ordered was delicious. The owner came out to greet us when we asked for a wine which was also very tasty

We absolutely loved Nova from the moment we sat down. The ambience and service was tops… and the FOOD phenomenal. Highly recommend the Pasta Tenerumi Not Mussels… our favorite dish after nine days in Sicily… and our favorite restaurant.

My wife and I had the pleasure of eating here for Xmas eve and it was OUTSTANDING! We lucked out as the owner and his extended family was there for Xmas eve dinner and the owners father came and welcomed us in person after learning we are from Canada. That was just the hospitality part. We had organic Etna Rosso that was recommended by the staff and the food was well presented well balanced and extremely tasty. It was such a great experience that we will definitely go again when we are in Palermo.

We have eaten at restaurants from Milano to Venice, Firenze, Roma and Naples but finally found a little slice of heaven in Sicily at Nova. Each dish was perfectly plated with every detail taken into account. The owner came to our table to make sure everything was as it should be and offered descriptions when we had questions. I savored every bite and only wish that the meal had lasted longer.

Great culinary experience, at fair prices, in a beautiful piazza. We were very lucky to discover this restaurant by chance. The best way to close our trip to Palermo!

Came across this amazing restaurant while walking. This was a experience that will never be forgotten. The small pieces of wood on the table to rest your silverware on. The local wine recommended was spectacular. Our dinner was above any expectations the flavor pairings were more than expected. They definitely deserve a 5 star rating!!!!

Such a cozy place with excellent cocktails! Went with my girlfriend, got seated right away by super attentive staff who kept checking in on us. Ordered a platter of local cheese and meats, all great although I maybe didn't like everything. The waiters are really nice, would definitely recommend!

What a fantastic place! My husband and I were visiting Sicily at the end of Sept and Nova was close to our apartment. We spent 4 nights there having cocktails and food. Service, drinks and vibe were just our style. Great quality, delicious cocktails, friendly staff and we can't wait to come back!
