We had a great experience at this place! The wine was great, locally produced and the plate with appetisers was very tasty! The atmosphere was very nice and the staff very friendly! It is very good for a light dinner or an aperitivo!

We spent a few days in Palermo and this place was our absolute favourite! The staff is incredibly lovely, the natural wine is amazing, the food is delicious and the whole atmosphere is just chill. You can either sit at one of the tables or grab a seat on the sidewalk, where the staff puts a stool as a small table for you. The street is way less touristy and busy than the other ones and we definitely recommend coming here!

Wow! Excellent wine bar- we came here 3 times on our trip we loved it so much… if you geek out on wines, this is the wine bar is for you. The staff and owners are so friendly, they really know their wines and recommended the PERFECT wines to my taste profile. Their food is also excellent- their cheeses, meats and wines are all from local producers and they are very humble for what they offer. But the vibe/ atmosphere was the best part. Casual, laidback, felt great to stay all night enjoying delicious wines with great company 🙏 you must go here if you are in Palermo. The cherry on top of it all was the chef remembered us and our preferences and gave us more of the specific cheese we said we liked on the first night 🥹🩷

If you’re vacationing in Sicily (or if you live in Palermo) and you’re looking for something else you’re crazy. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Their wines on offer are singular and of the region — tons of natural wines. They are multilingual and accommodating. My wife and I (who are visiting Palermo from NYC) met a table full of regulars and we hung all night. I wish I could find a place Like this in every city. This will without a doubt become one of our global locals.

This is not somewhere you go to drink wine. This is somewhere you go to experience wine. And not only wine, but amazing food, and warm, sincere Sicilian hospitality at its very best. We stumbled upon this enoteca on our first night in Palermo, as it was close to our apartment. As we are very interested in natural and biological wines we thought we would start the night here and sample one bottle before moving on to other places. Three bottles and a few rounds of canapé style sharing plates later the night had flown by and we had no interest to leave. We returned for a second and third night, each time sampling the different colours and varieties of grapes on offer, whilst getting to know Fabrizio & his wife Giulietta, as well as the rest of their incredible team, Jan, Ilenia, Salvo and Elena! Not forgetting meeting many of the locals who had nothing but nice things to say about this hidden gem and the team that run it... plus as time passed and they learned more about our palettes and preferences, the wines we were introduced to got better and better. For three nights we felt like real Sicilians living their best life in Palermo, all thanks to this magical place. We did try many other places in the city but nothing could compare to the atmosphere, quality and the warmth we felt here. We would return to Palermo from the UK just to spend one more night here... we hope to be back soon! You must check this place out, regardless of whether you're interested in natural wines or not, let the experts guide you and they will match your favourite flavour profile perfectly. Perfect natural wine bar. Great selection. Fun and cool vibe. Knowledgeable owner and his sister and a collection of hip locals and tourists. Typical enoteca antipasti to enjoy with your delicious Sicilian and Italian natural wines. Cool little seats out in the street. Bottles to go if you like. We came here multiple times and I left with a number of incredible and unique bottles. Must go.

MUST GO HERE. I am currently on a month long honeymoon around France and Italy. We stumbled upon this spot by coincidence and haven’t stopped dreaming about it since. We have gone to the highest recomended restaurants and bars on our trip and this experience is unquestionably in our top 3. Not only the best natural wine and charcuterie I’ve ever tasted, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and cool. The crowd is young and hip yet unpretentious. Everything we were looking for in Palermo we experienced curbside at dal Barone. Raw, real, effortless. Do yourself a favor and get involved. Thank me later.

Dal Barone is THE spot to go for natural wine, really nice vibe with a really welcoming owner who made a lot of time for us! Would really recommend going here if you’re in town.

Brilliant and atmospheric place. Really big list of local wine. I wish all of them were available for ordering by glasses. The bar is so popular, that it’s hard to find a spot there. So many guests, so sometimes it’s not easy for the waiters or owner to come and you might feel abandoned with an empty glass

Excellent place for a glass of wine and a snack. Popular, crowdy and snug, so make sure your back is fully rested before taking a seat😅 The staff worked swiftly and made people feel taken care of. One could also sense their keen interest in natural wines when they brought out bottles to try.

We came here by chance and immediately fell in love with the place. Here you can find any kind of wine, you can take a tasting set, they will tell you about each kind and then order large glasses of wine. The place is very popular, so you need to be prepared that there may not be a free place.
