This Italian restaurant is away from all the busy high streets and tucked in Lajares small town and making it an exclusive retreat for the people who love to have hot oven crusty pizza . I enjoyed it and yes if you ask me why a 4star not 5 is because leaving Pizzas you can't expect the rest of delicacy to be same always lastly when I visited in the evening's leaving Pizzas the rest were not up to the standard as they used to be earlier. I hope it's not the experience the same with others so just be warned. The rest yes a recommended place to go ..

Best pizzeria for sure! We had take out and was so impressed we went back on a different evening and ate in! Very authentic with a pizza oven in part of the the main restaurant which makes it very hot (only negative thing to say). Portion sizes are big and would suggest sharing starters! All in all would definitely recommend and would return!

The staff is very kind! Food was super delicious for a good price. The dessert “Merry Pepe” was also tasty😋

Restaurant is lovely, went on a friday night and was full of locals which is always a good sign. Buy we were practically ignored after being seated. Eventually got pizza 1 and a half hours after arriving. Two were fantastic, two were bloody awful. Seafood pizza made up with crabsticks and tinned tuna when there 5 miles from the sea. I dont like complaining, but needs must. Yes we're English, but polite, courteous and spoke mostly in Spanish. Not sure what more we could do??!!

we had takeaway pizza (3 different pizzas). below average taste. service (male) unpleasant (without the slightest effort to communicate other than in Spanish). Much better pizza is in Cotillo or Villaverde.

Amazing pizzas and fresh pasta. The combinations of ingredients very tasty. The staff is very kind. And the extra tip, have the pizza with nutella for desert, amazing.

Lovely pizzeria, staff are all very welcoming and the pizza is to die for! You can watch your pizza being made and it takes no time at all. The pizzas are so thin like they should be and the toppings are obviously fresh, with so much option!

Over the years that we've been coming to Fuerteventura the quality of the food at La Cancela never disappoints. We've never had pizza to equal it and whenever we stay near Lajares we visit multiple times during our holiday.

Great food! Pizzas amazing and cooked in the dining room in a great pizza oven. Tapas also really tasty. Everything clearly very fresh!
