Jardines de Cecilio Rodriguez is very beautiful. There are peacocks that come in and out of the garden. I was painting there at the gate for many hours and I really enjoyed watching the peacocks while I painted the scenery. Thank you for the photo Andres.

An enchanting fragment of the Retiro park, with jaw-dropping green galleries and freely roaming peacocks. A must-see.

Hands down the best part of Retiro! The royalest of turkeys. Please respect them.

Amazing peacock garden inside the Retiro Park, I didn't have a chance to explore all the corners of Retiro, but as much as I saw I found this Garden to be one the best spots. It's quite and wasn't crowed at time when I was there. Lush greenery in various shapes, gazebos, fountains, strolling paths, and of course freely walking peackoks! I caught it at the time of cherry blossom and it's fantastic place for lovely selfies) If you're not in rush find a cozy lawn and just watch peackoks peacfully walking around you.

What a beautiful place! The peacocks were beautiful but did not show their full potential - I guess it wasn’t mating time ;) still a lush and peaceful place! Would recommend to everyone that comes to Madrid!

I always enjoy spending time here because it's relaxing and it's very well kept. The peacocks seem to be taken care of and the flower beds are nice. I only hope they have some kind of surveillance to stop people taking the birds' feathers.

This is a nice park and It is a pleasant place to walk, I definitely recommend to stay all day in this park, such a big park with many things to see and the most important thing to enjoy the nature. A scenic park, an excellent landmark if you're lost, and a thing of pride to most locals. It’s good place to have lunch while visiting Madrid. It's central enough to be easily reachable from most central Madrid locations, via a 10/15 minute walk. It was near the national Museum. This is a really chill park with lost of space. It has a pretty lake with loads of benches everywhere. It was a really nice park to chill for a bit and it was fun. They also had along the gates outside, a whole selection of artists selling their art, so it was cool to look through and see some random and vastly differemt types of art.

I wasn't used to see peacocks open up such a close distance and walking around easily among people. Wonderful place to stroll around. Another good reason to visit El Retiro.

This garden is inside of El Retiro which is wonderful in and of itself. The reason people come to the Garden is to visit...the peacocks! There are a large number of them walking around (we counted about a dozen) in the large area in the middle. They are quite calm, but that may be because the people in the Garden were very respectful of them. We sat on a bench and watched them walk by. We needed a break anyway; it was a lovely way to spend half an hour.
