Red’s is a well equipped gym with plenty of space to get a good workout. The problem is that women get assaulted or harassed consistently at this gym and upper level management refuses to protect the victim. They’re more concerned with protecting their friends of the elite status in Lafayette and because of that, I’ll never pay another dollar to that gym

A woman was assaulted May 2023 while using a cable. The staff wasn't even remotely helpful. Instead they gaslighted and made excuses for the older male. "He's been a member for 50 years," "he's a doctor." Women are not safe here. Period.

A woman was physically assaulted in this gym in May 2023. When brought to the attention of the staff, they tried to gaslight her into thinking it was her fault that she was assaulted and minimize the disrespectful behavior of the assailant. I would not recommend this gym to anyone. I would recommend for all women to cancel their memberships as soon as you can. It is not a safe place.

For the price you pay, staff always have a stuck up attitude. Kids can work out but if it's not to their standards then they have to get out. Tons of teens in pool and hot tub all over each other but thats not a problem.

Cesspool! The most disgusting unsanitary place! The woman's locker room has a leaking sewer pipe in the wall that never got fixed or cleaned. The woman's workout area is a collection of old and broken equipment and don't even think of going in the co ed work out area without getting harassed by creepy old lurkers in socks and sandals that walk around like they own the place. Not a safe place for women to work out! In the summer time it's just a cheap day care that kids get dropped off by van full and the kids are running around the halls screaming and knocking you down you can't even walk. The only redeeming quality is top-notch tennis courts and yoga instructors

My daughter asked for a membership for her 16th birthday and she’s so happy, she’s literally there almost everyday. She’s met great people, been able to utilize the state of the art equipment and utilize the pools. The cold plunge pool has been so beneficial as she is a 3 sport varsity athlete and is very hard on her body with training.

Best gym in the state of Louisiana. Period. They have everything you could possibly need or want to do in this one facility. Saunas, Steam rooms, cold plunges, hot tubs, 2 floors worth of workout equipment, boxing gym, tennis courts, and much more. I would recommend getting a membership here to anybody.

The employees at Red's are a wonderfully caring conscientious bunch. Ive been to some other large gyms like Golds in CA, and a few around Dallas, but Red's is unmatched in All aspects!!! My Mom recently passed away, and yesterday when I got home, there was a package at my door. Red LeRilles health club provided my family with a gift that is unmatched, as well. My family were given a Carmelite Guild perpetual membership for the deceased! I could not think of a better gift for my deceased mom and my family. Thank you Red and Mark LeRille, all their employees, and the entire LeRille family!!!

I love it here. BEST gym in the world. I can say that because I've visited gyms around the world. ONLY gym I've visited with a PLUNGe pool. When I visit home, I ALWAYS come here. The OWNER Red is soooo nice.

I was on a road trip and needed a place to go for a quick workout, and let me tell you, this place was a hidden gem. If I could rate this place any higher, I would. Best gym I have ever been to on the road. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll be returning here for sure.

I’ve been a member at Reds for six years, and I never cease to be impressed with what it offers and the friendliness of their staff. I was walked by a staff member to the third-floor to locate the class that I was going to attend. I thought that was really extra good service! Mr. Red’s is one of the kindest people I know. He is to be admired!

There isn't a gym like it in our region. So many pools, any and all gym equipment, so many group classes, saunas, indoor and outdoor tennis, pickleball...food, drinks! This place has it all.

This place is top notch. We did a day pass to use the pool facilities. Everything was clean and worked.

A Lafayette treasure! Not just a gym a real experience! I enjoy playing indoor tennis and the cold plunge!

One if not the best athletic club in the United States in my honest opinion. I absolutely love this place. I used to live in Lafayette about 14 years ago and I absolutely fell in love with this place. Try to ignore all the older men who dye their hair jet black so they can try to bed a fertile young Cajun woman. Just get your workout done and enjoy the facilities and you will truly love Reds.

Great place to spend your morning- work out, swim, eat a healthy lunch, play basketball... prices are reasonable for what you get.

Great gym! Nothing bad to say about the gym itself, just be cautious as if you are treated poorly by an employee, especially a manager, and you talk to red, he will say “it’s hard to believe they didn’t treat you right” as the manager has been there a long time. That was enough for me to not want to join.

Good gym with great accommodations. Cleanliness is lacking. But that’s usually the deal with any big gym. Broke out for weeks after using one of their towels after my workout. Decent gym just wouldn’t eat there or use their towels again.

We don't know how lucky we are to have this elite gym here in Lafayette! You can still see Red Lerille himself checking people in at the front desk, the instructors and classes are all awesome and available for all skill levels, and the equipment and grounds are always up-to-date and well-maintained. I've been a member for about 12yrs and have been very impressed throughout.

This is the best place for your money. If you enjoy taking care of your body, then reds is the place for you. Hot/cold tub, steam room/ sauna etc.

Bathroom is never clean when I go in Reds also the equipment is over used needs to be replaced. I hate touching sticky rubber or using equipment that has parts missing.

I joined for the summer mainly for the pool. Great place to swim and tan. Large variety of workout equipment. I enjoy the upstairs gym and having a woman’s only area. Tons of fitness classes like Bodypump, Cycling, Circuit Training, Yoga and more. Full cardio room. I’m a cold natured person and have been getting into running on the outdoor track- it’s long and has scenic views. The steam room and whirlpool are the perfect end to a long day of work, school and a workout. My only complaint is the hours and that they have way less classes on weekend (latest is usually 10 AM)

The only gym in the Lafayette area as far as I am concerned. It has everything. Pool, Wright rooms, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, yoga, cycling, basketball, tennis, racketball, snack bar, young, old, fabulous staff. This place is the Disney World of fitness.

This is my home away from home. This place will make you enjoy your fitness journey. No longer is going to the gym a chore that you dread, it's an exciting activity you look forward to when you're are Red's. The membership is worth every penny.

I love this place! Mainly for the swimming, boxing, and the weights. But there’s also tennis, racquetball, fitness classes, and food.

I have been to gyms worldwide, nothing beats Red's. Every possible exercise. The most professional, prompt, proficient staff. Lafayette is truly blessed to have Red's.
