Very sad reservation policy that discriminates against single people. First trip to Lyon since death of my partner. I tried to make a reservation (polite email in French) for a Saturday night six weeks in advance. They responded they only accept parties of one at lunch. Fortunately discrimination based on familial status is illegal in the United States but sadly not here. It's obviously a financial decision but shows a true lack of professional management. No problem obtaining reservations for one at other 2 and 3 starred Michelin restaurants on this trip. Glad to see other restaurants are more sympathetic to those of us newly alone.

Very very dissapointed with the main courses! The dinner started well but it ended with tasteless dishes. 600 euros for a not-even-close-2 star- Michelin restaurant. Also I was expecting a nicer interior for the restaurant. Overall not the best fine dining experience unfortunately.

This was the worst experience I had in a star-Michelin restaurant in the past 30 years. The food was inventive, tasty and very well presented with a succession of amuse-bouche ( the sardine souffléd was to die for). The service overall was cold. In addition, we had a series of awful customer experiences that went on all evening: We were sitted next to the revolving door to the kitchen, so it was very noisy with countless passages; we could not choose our menus as we were told that we all had to take exactly the same dishes at the table (one of us had a particular diet which did not allow him to do so and was not permitted to even order à la carte accordingly). My 80 year-old mum received a nasty remark when she kindly asked to take with her some mignardises she could not finish in order not to waste the food. The chef was arrogant, cocky, and his wife eventually made comments about serving foreigners. Avoid at all cost this restaurant, there are many more excellent options in Lyon.

Food 5/5 Accessibility 5/5 Atmosphere 4/5 Cost 5/5 Service 5/5 We had the most amazing time at this restaurant. We could feel that behind each meal we were served there was a concept, a story. Nothing is the fruit of hazard but a well orchestrated combination. We went during the day so I found the decoration a bit cold. I would advise to go in the evening as the light is said to be really nice. We really appreciated the chef to come out of the kitchen to greet all the guests one by one. The service was exceptional and we were extremely good taken care of. We are talking here about a 2 starred Michelin restaurant. Price is therefore not cheap but we found it really fair for the amazing food and service. Can only recommend for a special occasion.

A very nice dining experience with several dishes that are creative & really shows the chef’s talents. The restaurant is slightly out of the town centre & a nice 30 min stroll through residential areas. We were warmly greeted & shown to our table which had an excellent overview of the restaurant (approx 24 customers with 8 staff) Staff were professional & friendly - all spoke excellent English. There are 2 options to the degustation menu & one can opt to wine pair or the sommelier makes recommendations. The food was exquisite - from the amuse bouche to the little snacks & the actual degustation meal itself. Memorable dishes were the beef (surprisingly from Australia) & fish cooked in beeswax at your table. Simply outstanding. Unfortunately a slight hiccup when we paid the bill - we were overcharged for water & wine. The amount is insignificant but with the small number of diners & high ratio of staff, such mistakes/errors should not happen. The bill was corrected with an apology (& excuses which as customers we did not need to know) & we were asked to recheck the bill again. As the amount was insignificant (less than Euro 15) - the restaurant should have been gracious & “comped” the extra bottle of water charged & wine overcharge. It would have left us in a much better frame of mind. This downgraded the experience from 5 to 4 stars. A seemingly minor point but it did detract from the overall experience.

I went there almost by chance, and what a happy coincidence. Recommended by a friend during a conversation, I was looking for a great place for a tête-à-tête. Nothing to say, a better experience than Bocuse... You travel with each dish, everything is both beautiful and good! Lots of flavors, lots of fun, if you go there at lunchtime, don't plan anything for the afternoon. Really great.

A great experience enhanced by the excellent staff. Food excellent with some unexpected twists like cooking the char in beeswax at the table. Well worth splashing out for this dinning experience.

Wonderful prix fixe menu featuring multiple fish entrees this evening, creatively designed. Chef Christophe is clearly an expert in slow cooking as the char was delicious. Amazing attentive service, great cheese selections with clear recommendations based on our taste! Highly recommended, and in my opinion, significantly better than our experience at L'Auberge Paul Bocuse.

This Michelin restaurant in Lyon is worth every dollar spent. From amuse bouche to petite fours, I thorough enjoyed myself, the taste of every course is on point. Bonus to cooking the char in beeswax in front of us. The service is also very good, not too much, you can sense the awareness of the service staff. Ambience wise is simple and elegant, nothing too over -the-top. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions, you will walk out happy and very full!

Everything was great but we ate for almost 4 hours, we were the second to last to leave the restaurant. The menu advertised for 4 courses but I swear, we ate like 12 courses. The food just kept coming. Make sure you manage your expectation before coming. The foie gras was very untraditional, it had kiwi flavor in it. We loved the modern twist. The scallop with truffle was sooo yummy but the dish was very filling compare to others. You get about 50% full here at course 3. The cod cooked in boiling honey was also very interesting to look at but flavor was okay. The meat dish was very well cooked. Cheese plate was excellent. If you decide to get their yogurt (pre dessert), it was divine. ❤️

We loved everything about this experience. Coming from Sydney where there are no michelin star venues, we didn't know what to expect. This place met all expectations. If you're from Australia, be prepared for a slower, more timed, service style than you're used to. However, food was immaculate, service amazing, paired wines were magnificent. Cannot recommend more strongly.

The food was decent, fresh, well prepared and tastefully plated, but sadly, that was it. There was nothing creative or innovative about how the ingredients were used. The amuse bouche of a fried quail egg with a scalding yolk centre came with no warning. The foie gras was delicious, and that was it, just a well done foie gras. Service was also extremely mediocre, disappointing for a 2-star restaurant with raving reviews. Everyone was polite but there was little warmth or interest and it felt different to other patrons in the restaurant. I don’t want to assume anything but perhaps because we do not speak French or we’re not locals, there seemed to be differential treatment. Overall, having traveled from afar to the “gastronomical capital” that is Lyon, the experience was underwhelming and certainly not what we expected from a 2-star restaurant. We’ve had better experiences at non-Michelin restaurants in Lyon in terms of flavor profiles, textures and service. We would say that overall, this experience left us wanting.

A feast for the eyes and taste buds, sophisticated and refined cuisine in an elegant setting I recommend 200%

So very delicious. I would usually dock 1* for missing the timing on my wine pairing for the cheese, but the rest of the service and food makes up for it. Best Michelin 2* I’ve had, better than most 3*s.

We had a great time at Nintheme art. The cuisine was up to par, with a lot of technical expertise. A very nice experience that I recommend. The service staff was there to guide us in our choices. They were very pleasant from start to finish. THANKS,

Subtlety, finesse, delicious precision cuisine in high definition. From starter to dessert, perfection is the key word.

Absolutely wonderful experience here. Had a full course lunch that lasted a few hours and we didn't want it to stop. Seemed like there was no shortage of delicious and creative dishes coming out for our enjoyment. Service was impeccable. I was very impressed with the extensive cheese options. Certainly expensive but here I felt the price was fair for the quality and overall experience. Felt they were fighting above their weight class right along side a 3 star experience

Excellent and sophisticated cuisines that make you travel all around in one bite. Great choices of wines that synchronised with foods. Moreover, desserts was the only part that doesn’t make the experience fulfill until the end.

Wonderful meal and great service. The food is very light by French standards, perfectly balanced with hints of tang and zest.

We were blown away by how delicious this restaurant was. We came to Lyon expecting great food, though this restaurant far exceeded any expectations. Our favorites were the warm duck foie gras and the lamb, though everything was delicious. We were very impressed by this restaurant. Hope to come back soon.

Truly worth the two stars! Service was perfect with the right amount of attention. The salmon dish was my favorite for its presentation.

👍 Nice experience in this new restaurant. Gentle staff, there is a nice feeling. I recommend the salads which are super tasty and creative. Could not experience the fresh juice as the restaurant seems to have some teething problems but I will come back in a few weeks to try more.
