    When you are at Paul Bocuse, you know you are at Paul Bocuse! Everything is branded and his face is plastered all over the place. It really feels like a themed restaurant in that respect. I was extremely excited to dine there, firstly because of the reputation, but also the food looked amazing online. Though I was a little concerned that everyone had the same pictures and experience. I ended up ordering the tasting menu because it hit his few classic dishes but also it seemed better value. His lobster was well done and s nice start to the meal. The truffle soup was what I was most looking forwards to... It was unfortunately a bit of a let down, being more like a mushroom consomme with hints of truffle. The next dish was the fish with potato scales. And I must say here that the skill required to cook this is pretty amazing. The potatoes were beautifully crisp and the fish was flaky and delicious. We also had the chicken cooked in bladder of cow. When it was wheeler out, there was a distinct off-smell which was ok no for me but not other's I was dinning with. Good dish but it felt a little in need of an update. The chicken was good - but the breast was a little dry. For me the cooking level was high but very classic and a little behind the style. Enjoy.

    Exquisite, exceptional, indescribable. The experience at this fine dining establishment is top notch and well worth the cost. It’s food theatre with attentive service and attention to detail. We had the 5 course lunch and each dish was delicious and so unique. The flavors and the presentation of the food were a delight. Highly recommend this Michelin 2 beauty.

    Literally the origin of modern French cuisine. A visit to Bocuse’s restaurant is a magical experience for the senses. You’ll taste many refined french classic dishes and the waitstaff are exceptional on making suggestions to enhance the experience. Highly recommend if you are visiting Lyon for a short time and want to try something amazing

    Probably one of the most phenomenal restaurants I have ever visited. The bresse chicken and red mullet are absolutely mind blowing. The service and ambience is second to none and the best part is when you arrive, just entering the restaurant will put a massive smile on your face, the design and elegance to this place you know immediately you are in for a treat!

    An absolutely stunning and eye-opening experience! The moment we walked into the garden, you started to feel the history behind this restaurant. The service from start to finish was flawless. All the staff members were experienced and friendly, and even though their English could have been better, they were still trying their best to explain the dishes. Turning to the dishes, every dish had its own characteristic; from starter to dessert, it was like a concerto. Every single element was unique but also made each other better. Really looking forward to visiting it next time!

    Well what can be said about this restaurant?!! It is the pinacle of French gastronomy, ultimate experience about French food and table service, every waiter is here for your comfort, i went there 15 years ago and the quality has not changed, whatever you heard about this restaurant being old or having lost its mojo DO NOT believe it. Every dish was exceptional, we took the Paul Bocuse menu and it did not disappoint, the highlights were the lobster and the chicken for me but everything was perfectly cooked and very well put together. 5 Stars for me no questions asked!!!

    My expectations importantly exceeded my experience once I was there and I had dinner at this 3 🌟 Michelin restaurant. We were friends in five and ordered an interesting menu. Unfortunately the tastes and the overall visual effects were under expectations for us all. We were not satisfied...but service was excellent! Honestly also while approaching the front door /or while leaving (as in our case) this nice building I noticed that rather "cheap" looking painted décorations outside on the walls clearly meant to emphasize the famous Chef that had build up the restauration's reputation but their effects to the customer (at least to me) give you the impression that you are going to a popular tivoli dining area...not to a highly esteemed restaurant where ALL THE FOCUS IS ON THE FOOD ITSELF and its REPRESENTATION INSIDE TOGETHER WITH SERVICE ONLY. Yeah, it was nice to try it but too far below my expectations. I still recommend you give it a try to see what you think...?

    I was treated like royalty from the moment I stepped through the doors. So much attention from the staff. I felt flustered and amazed at the beautifully decorated setting of the restaurant! The food was eye candy and made it that much more appealing. They've stolen my heart! I will forever cherish, not only the food but the overall experience the people of this restaurant provided!

    The King is dead, God save the King. There's no denying that Paul Bocuse is the godfather of modern cuisine. He is unfortunately no longer with us, but his spirit lingers on. An impressive fresco of Monsieur Paul greets guests as they enter the building, and everything inside echoes luxury. There's no mistaking whose place this is, for Paul's name is on literally everything: from the tablecloth to the toilet paper. OK, maybe not the toilet paper, but definitely the napkin rings. I recommend taking the exquisite menu option; after all, if you booked a table here, you can afford it. And most importantly: don't let yourself get carried away and save some room for dessert!

    The best Michelin restaurant I've dined at. Paul Bocuse is the true pioneer of French cuisine, not only is food good but you are dining at a landmark. Chef Gilles Reinhardt is super friendly, came to greet all his guests. It's not just amazing food, but an amazing and unforgettable experience. You are among world chef, pastry and sommelier champions here. You feel like you're in the Pixar movie Ratatouille. This place raises the bar. Absolutely spectacular.

    My wife and I were served my Geoffray and we had a really memorable experience. The service was excellent. It was raining when we arrived and the service staff waited by the road with an umbrella ready for our arrival to shelter us into the restaurant. The foie gras and red wine were the best I’ve tasted. The other classic French dishes were terrific as well, such as the quenelle.

    My wife and I took our two children to Bocuse while on vacation. Everything was perfect. The service was exceptional. The food was incredible. We were nervous bringing two younger children as we didn’t know how they’d handle it or how the restaurant would, but they (9 and 11) were treated so well by everyone. I can’t recommend Bocuse enough for anyone looking for a special dinner.

    This was the single best dining experience of our lives! From the setting to the service to the food you cannot get better. My wife and I both decided on the Paul Bocuse seven course menu and it was unbelievable. The highlights were the sole and the chicken dish was out of this world!     One of the most memorable and delicious dining experiences I've ever had! The food was amazing, with fresh ingredients, and preparbed elegantly. Personal favourites were the blue lobster, foie gras and the chicken cooked in veal's bladder. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Every part of the evening from our arrival to departure was amazing. A great place to experience authentic French cuisine!

The way I would explain my experience is “precision” especially the cooking technique. The chef managed to control the flavor extremely well.     It's not always a place lives up to its expectations. Sometimes a place can get so famous that you expect too much. I've dined in dozens of the best restaurants in the world and this restaurant stands out among the best. Classic French recipes with top notch service. I am so glad I took the journey to the beautiful city of Leon to fulfill my bucket list if dining here. It did not disappoint and I highly reccomend.

    The most memorable, authentic and impeccable dining experience so far! It was the highlight of our trip in Lyon, a gastronomic Mecca! The restaurant has a certain charm, that welcomes you into a different era, yet it feels almost timeless... We ordered the tasting menu with all the classic dishes, from the truffle soup, amazing filet de Sole Fernand Point and the Bresse chicken cooked in bladder, then the cheese selection was just out of this world! Yes it is decadent, heavy, and incorrigibly traditional compared to the options padding The Worlds Top 50, but I personally enjoyed it. To start, the foie gras was prepared perfectly with a rich, luscious silkiness. The famous truffle soup was somewhat underwhelming.
