This meal blew us away. We knew we could expect a good evening, based on the google reviews, but we did not expect that this would be one of the best meals we’ve ever eaten. The staff were the perfect level of attentive but non-intrusive and the food was exquisite. The only thing we regret is deciding to go a la carte rather than have the whole tasting menu.

Marvelous dinner! Every dish from start to finish was delightful. My favorites: the burst of flavor from the chef's signature oyster dish was the perfect start. The beef was cooked beautifully. The chocolate dessert was a surprise with the contrast in textures that made it feel light despite the richness of chocolate. Honorable mentions to the amuse bouches. To top it off, the service was impeccable.

Thank you for your wonderful service today. The welcoming staff were very kind and showed us to our window table overlooking Pl. des Célestins. The meal began with a delicious amuse-bouche. My companions had the set meal and enjoyed each stage. I had the ravioli to start and blue lobster from Breton... Both were outstanding. Thank you for the this memorable gastronomy experience... We'll be back.

What a delight! Such a good value for their lunch set, and truly amazing flavors as well. Their service was excellent. The brioche croissant was so good to start, complimentary. All the way through the set, how they cook their vegetables and balance the flavors and textures. Everything was excellent! Would recommend for anyone stopping by Lyon to give this a try

Just back from a lovely lunch at Monsieur P. We had the 'formula meal', beef cheeks with red onions, Mediterranean white fish and a dessert that featured buckwheat ice cream. Everything was delicious. Each dish was composed of multiple elements that complimented each other wonderfully. We were curious and dubious about the buckwheat ice cream, so first tried a bit solo. Interesting. Then we tried it as part of the entire dessert. Amazing. Wonderful creativity to create a delicious surprise. The room is elegant, service good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Would not agree dining outside would give better experience than inside. The Food was good, but because it's dark we could not really see it. The experience was not quite complete. The Dessert was surprisingly good. The Wine especially natural wines was incredible. Some of the staff looked too tired to work in Servicing Job. The Sommelier was professional. The girl wairing glasses kept welcoming face the whole time. Very nice.

Every course was well thought out and well executed. It felt like a lot of thought went into the wine pairings. The waiters were top notch and had great service in English.

It was a fantastic dining experience! We did the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was a beautiful food adventure. I especially enjoyed the seafood dishes for their creativity. The waitstaff was very personable and patient while we practiced our french.

We enjoyed a very enjoyable lunch at Monsieur P. The service was excellent, if a little bit lacking in personality. The food was small, pretty and tasty but unmemorable considering this restaurant has a Michelin star. The bread and butter is perhaps the most exceptional thing we ate. Wine was good but not exceptional. Adequate for a nice business meal or if you just enjoy being in a beautiful room with nice service but there are lots of places to eat better food for less money.

Came here for my birthday and it was fantastic! The décor is incredibly charming and the coursed meals were delicious! Eclectic flavors in the dishes and a terrific wine selection. Nice staff and service as well! Highly recommend!

I am really surprised with my experience visiting this restaurant. Whole atmosphere is fantastic. Staff very kind for every guest. Probably best food presentation. Perfect attention to details. And especially want to thank for compliments.

Superb dining experience. Atmosphere is like a converted lawyer's office from the 1800s. Food was phenomenal. Also this restaurant is in a cool part of town with narrow streets and tall buildings going right up the curb. Also what is good is that this restaurant is open on days many of the other michelin star restaurants are closed.

One of the top restaurants I've visited. The attention to detail is amazing, the staff is highly professional and kind (and quick!). The food has been meticulously prepared from great ingredients. The interior might be the best abou this place, and that's saying a lot. Also, it's a bit away from the crowded spot which makes it even sweeter. Good luck with the Michelin star contest!

Best gourmet experience! We took the tasting menu containing 7 courses plus one appetizer and an extra dessert, costing 98€. There’s also an option in 78€ which includes fish instead of meat. In my opinion the value was over the price by far, we left so full and satisfied! The dishes were excellent, the quantity was fair and the ingredients were so fresh and well handled. The octopus, scallops, salmon and wagyu beef were just perfect- best I’ve ever had. The dishes went out in perfect timing. The service was excellent as well! The staff is so kind and professional, they know what you want and need before you even know it yourself haha. They treated us with such respect and joy, it’s worth visiting just for the service honestly. Overall experience was no less that perfect, I highly recommend every visitor in lyon to come eat in Monsieur P, especially if you’re a food enthusiast like me! I definitely hope to come back here someday.

Lovely dining rooms create a more quiet atmosphere. Staff friendly and helpful. Amuse Bouche of Parmesan brioche and separately, finely chopped beet topped with beet sorbet. Sorry, no pictures. Entrees (appetizers) escargot with salsify and a watercress emulsion. Snails were lukewarm and other elements cool. I would have preferred a bit more warmth. Plats principale (mains) pork roast (my wife thought perhaps the best pork she has ever eaten) but also just warm. Lotte (monkfish) with veggies (carte was with asparagus which I don’t love so they substituted). Dessert: chocolate cookie box filled with orange mousse, almonds and topped with chocolate sorbet. Then they brought custard tarts!

One of the best meals of my life. The food was so artfully prepared; I definitely suggest ordering one of the tasting menus. The servers also made the whole experience wonderful and were so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. This is a must try restaurant if you are in Lyon!

The best restaurant in Lyon, it is a must visit , french cuisine…. Marvelous environment… very very friendly staff…all the menu must try, also available a set menu sampler, excellent in fish selection also the veal dish’s are killer. .

Genuinely one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The service was immaculate and the food was transcendent.

Excellent meal at Monsieur P - we had the a la carte, and started with a lovely amuse bouche of a herb sorbet and parmesan brioche. Next we had the white asparagus starter and the chicken tortellini/fois gras, followed by the monkfish (beautifully presented). We finished with a tonka bean, peanut and caramel dessert, all washed down with a wonderful bottle of white Burgundy. Overall, great ambience in a packed restaurant with wonderful service throughout. Would recommend!

Exceptional service. Lovely staffs and chef. We enjoyed all dishes. Thank you for treating us really well. Too bad that we found this place the last day of our visit. We will enjoy the leftover flan at home. :)
