A very nice dine in place. It was my first time in Lyon and really felt proper welcome. The staffs were very friendly and did recommend their best. I absolutely loved the richness of the food served. More importantly the servings did perfectly match the expectations set you by reading the menu. Can totally recommend! Location is ideal, Also serves Tap water (very new having seen restaurants in Germany),Great choices. Menu is simple but very rich.

Fantastic experience. Having stayed in Lyon for only 4 days we didn't plan to repeat restaurants however such was the service and food we ended up back here 3 times and tried most of the items on the menu. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent, it was easy to tell that all the employees and the owner cared about ensuring we had a great experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food! Had a starter and the quenelle as a main and both dishes were delicious. Also fantastic service. Vegetarian is available. Just ask and they will modify the dish

We had the BEST meal here in Lyon!!! The quenelle with lobster sauce was AMAZING!! My friend and I still talk about it sometimes! I finished all the sauce with the bread my friend was so sad lol !! I mean, look at the video!!! When it arrived it was so fluffy it jiggles!! It just melted in your mouth! We wanted to try them on our first night but was fully booked. It was 40c so we didn’t feel like sitting outside. We booked a table for lunch the next day and went to the bouchon on the opposite side at the end (which was a very sad experience). So glad we came back for lunch! The pork was so tender, the veg was perfectly cooked. Although the desserts look good but they didn’t impress us too much, at least the fruit was very fresh. In general it was very clean and tastefully decorated. We both enjoyed our meal very much. But the really need to add a sign for their light switch, customers kept switching off the lights outside the bathroom which was actually for the kitchen.

The food was so delicious here! My favorite was the Veal Shank as it was very tender but the special which was Sirloin was also really good. The Canelle was very rich in flavor too. Finally the praline tart was a perfect way to end the meal. Will definitely come back the next time we take a trip to Lyon! Make sure to make reservations ahead of time!

It was a great experience. The restaurants interior is what we foreigners call "French„. In a good way, of course. The room itself wasn't big, but with a smart use of mirrors, it felt big. There was enough air, and I felt comfortable, although all the tables were in use. The food was delicious. I took the set of starter, main, and dessert. They all were beautiful and tasty. Probably I enjoyed the dessert the least, but I take the blame. I wouldn’t say I like too sweet stuff, but I still chose tart. It was too sweet to me. The personnel was quick, friendly, and helpful.

When I first saw the 4.8 rating with 1,400 reviews I got curious to find out what is it really about and decided to go there. Needless to say, best decision ever! I was greeted with a very friendly server who spoke perfect English. I ordered the slow roasted veal and a glass of cote Rhône’s red wine. The food was cooked to perfection. The Veal was soft and juicy. The cooking juices as the sauce were top notch. Wish there was more of it. The wine was also very well rounded and complimented the meal perfectly. Towards the end the lady at the cash register was also very nice and polite truly caring about their food and service. All in all I now understand the well deserved high ratings.

One of my favorite restaurants during France trip. Price is modest: 30 euros for three course, daily special is 14 euros. The fish main course and sauce is so tasty. The egg & mushroom appetizer is earthy and warming.

The owner of store speak fluent English, everybody's very hospitality to customer and passion to introduce their food and wine. We have two kids they introduce food to us carefully, explain that poor souls inside these can be put separately, quote impressive! General speaking the food is good, price is good, perfect location, you should come and visit

While this place is located in a touristy area, this doesn’t take away from the quality of their products. Lunch menu has limited options but all great quality, service is great and English-friendly, and overall I highly recommend this place.

I had very high expectations for this place for the restaurant because of the reviews online and recommendations from a few colleagues. The food is ok. It’s just I was expecting it to be better

This restaurant is one of the best in Lyon, book early is my best advice. We did manage to have lunch here. Service was great, they spoke English which is always a bonus. Menu changes constantly but what we had made us full, satisfied and very happy.

For someone who rarely eat meat (especially innards), this bouchon restaurant is really good! The reviews doesn’t lie, food is was great, and service is pretty good too! I enjoyed my time here and glad that we tried eating at least once bouchon restaurant in Lyon. 💯

Great service and cosy place. Some of menu options were excellent but other were at least mediocre, especially the tart pralina and pork sausage. The quality was great but there was a small accident with my peas soup and I found a small plastic piece inside. I will visit these restaurant one more time cause I believe that it worth more than 3 stars. Prices were reasonable.

Very nice server and nice recommendation. It was a bit pricey but really good dinner and AX local beer. Highly recommend. They use very fresh ingredients.

Such amazing food! We had a private room in the back, and while walking in can give the wrong impression, not the fanciest. However the service was super nice, and once the food started coming in, it was just amazing. It was so delicious I forgot to take pictures of the desert before I finished it. Definitely recommend - i had the pate for starters, stake for main, and pudding for desert. ❤️

One of the best restaurant I had at Lyon. We made reservations prior to coming here. Affordable Lyonnaise three course meal at only 25.5€. 63° eggs were amazing!! Love the atmosphere here despite not the best service.

We were incredibly lucky to secure a table as walk-in customers. Do reserve in advance if you can. It was our first night in Lyon and we tried the Pike Soufflé w lobster sauce and the veal. The Pike soufflé remains one of the best we tried during our stay in Lyon. The veal was a touch on the drier side, but it was saved by the delicious eggplant caviar and goat cheese dip. Save some tummy space for the rice pudding. A knock out dessert! Creamy, light and the caramelised walnuts & whipped cream made it especially delectable. We will happily fly 13 hours to have the rice pudding again.

This was the best meal I had in Lyon and excellent value with the lunch special. Can’t wait to return. Thank you for accommodating my reservation for one.

Excellent combo lunch available that includes an appetizer, entree and dessert. Each course was excellent. Classic Lyonnaise fare that has been modernized. Recommend making a reservation.

Tipical French Bouchon, simple menu, very delicious food! I love the food in Europe in general, but as a Chinese, I am always very suspicious about the way European cook pork. I decided to give it try again since I believed it should be a good restaurant. I chose the pork tenderloin as the main dish, it ended up a very big surprise for me, pork was super tender and very tasty, but also very light with the sauce. It's a perfect meal for summer time! Considering the overall experience I had in Bouchon Tupin, the price is more than fair!

👍 Nice experience in this new restaurant. Gentle staff, there is a nice feeling. I recommend the salads which are super tasty and creative. Could not experience the fresh juice as the restaurant seems to have some teething problems but I will come back in a few weeks to try more.
