in
Black
is
one
of
the
places
I
revisited
during
my
trip
to
Paris.
The
coffee
beans
were
rotated
for
both
espresso,
milk
based
espresso
and
filter.
They
paid
a
great
attention
to
details,
from
roasting,
cupping
and
brewing.
The
baristas
were
very
skillful
and
constantly
poured
a
beautiful
latte
art.
I
only
ordered
a
piccolo
the
first
time
and
felt
a
bit
underwhelming,
but
I
was
very
glad
that
it
decided
to
revisit
it
after.
Not
only
that
I
was
able
to
have
some
great
flat
while
using
Guatemala
and
Costa
Rica
beans,
but
also
I
got
to
try
a
few
items
in
their
food
menu.
My
favorite
is
savory
scones.
It
came
with
zaatar
roasted
eggplant
and
zucchini.
The
cream
cheese
with
pickled
mustard
seeds
spread
on
the
scone,
a
great
dish
if
you
prefer
some
savory
dish.
Another
good
savory
option
is
Egg
on
toast
with
cashew
pesto.
The
cashew
pesto
was
nutty
and
aromatic,
but
the
crushed
cashew
on
top
was
a
bit
burned
that
day.
They
also
had
two
interesting
side
dishes.
One
is
sautéed
spinach
in
sage
butter
and
oyster
mushroom
fired
in
parsley
butter,
full
of
herb
aroma.
The
other
one
is
dill
oil
roasted
fig
with
fennel,
drizzled
with
espelette
pepper,
sweet,
savory
and
some
spicy
kick
at
the
end.
Unfortunately,
the
side
dishes
can
only
be
ordered
with
mains.
French
toasted
banana
bread
is
a
great
option
if
you
are
into
something
sweet.
It
was
moisture,
thick,
soft,
dense
and
buttery,
a
very
satisfying
dish!
But
it
also
needs
lots
of
workout
after
to
burn
these
sweet
calories.
At
the
end
of
my
last
visit,
I
also
picked
a
few
bags
of
coffee
beans.
The
Ethiopian
espresso
was
tasty
as
expected.
