Restaurant

👍👍 It's always a pleasure to visit Gaspars. I enjoy the Indian fusion inspiration from the chef's childhood. The selection of products and spices takes you on a journey for a few hours. The dinner was well-balanced with delightful flavors. A great experience that I recommend to everyone! There is a place to hide away, A place to laugh and place to stay. Where an evening is to cherish An experience to keep, not perish. Where one smiles in candlelight, Followed by the staffs delight. A place so unique even by menu, Created by the story of this venue. It's a curious and echanting tale, which you'll feel as it slowly entails. But be warned the choice is hard, Each dish calls behind the tabard. I took the bait and went for cod, A treat so rare, you'll be awed. Each bite felt like heaven it's close, each little piece with taste so verbose. I truly enjoyed every moment and regret it ended. it's over. I fell in love, in love with fusion, This is more than just an allusion. I really recommend Gaspars. Both the brunch and their regular tastes are spectacular. Their dishes offer a game of flavours and are not merely a plate of food, It's an experience of a work of art. I rarely want to eat my dish since beauty should last.. The service is the best in Vilnius. Friendly and warm. I loved every moment.

We were very excited about dinner at Gaspar’s. But unfortunately we left disappointed 😔 We went for the tasting menu. Most of the dishes were delicious. But the waiting time between dishes was endlessly long; most of the time it was 30 min wait time. The plates were small too. It was the first time we left the restaurant hungry after the tasting menu. The service could have been better too. We wanted to order more drinks, but nobody checked on us for quite a long time. Atmosphere was not something we enjoyed either. The tables were close to each other and we could hear other people as if they were sitting together with us.

My favourite restaurant in Vilnius. The lunch offer is just too good to be true. The decor is simple but sophisticated. The service is spot on. The quality of the food is stunning. The flavours and spices used are incredibly interesting. The wine choices are good. I could keep going. Do yourself a favour and go!

The restaurant was tiny, probably around 10 tables. When you came in, there is only 1 jackets coat right at the door so you have to wait in the cold for everyone else to get their coats sorted before you can enter. We had a reservation, we were there 10 minutes before our reservation and the table were still having guests so we have to wait outside for 15minutes since there is no waiting space inside before we were seated. The Nann was great, probably one of the best I’ve had, but other than that, the food was a bit overpriced since there isn’t much technique going on I must say. For example: the starter recommended was the shrimp with butter and herbs; or the main dish slow cook squid, nothing sophisticated. The chef can use more spices that’s for sure as there wasn’t much flavors in any of the dishes. Plating was ok, straightforward. The most confusing piece was the dessert with black garlic. Everything was good on its own, but when everything combined, it was fusion confusion. The servers aren’t up to par for an upscale restaurant. They are limited in the menu and the wine knowledge. When the food brought out, they didn’t introduce what it was that they just brought out. It’s hard to believe this is the no.1 restaurant in Vilnius as I’ve had better food and services elsewhere. Good to try but no good enough to come back for the price that we paid. There’re definitely other places in town that are more worthwhile

Gaspar's was one of our favorite restaurants in Vilnius!! In my opinion, service is generally really good in Lithuania, but the staff at Gaspar's goes above and beyond. They are so welcoming and friendly. The interior is modern and bright, perfect for a small dinner party, dinner with friends or a date. I would take everyone I know here. Then the food: every bite was bursting with flavor. It was delicious. The combination of Goan (Indian) and Portuguese influences really make for unique dishes. I highly recommend having lunch or dinner at Gaspar's.Don't forget to bring cash for a tip! And it is easy to make reservations online or by phone.

The restaurant is quite small with nearly all tables booked - something to keep in mind if you’re planning to come here. The portions aren’t big, yet the taste is something else. Everything we tried had a distinct and exclusive flavor. It’s not cheap but well worth it

A lovely fine dining restaurant in Vilnius. Good food and a truly fancy atmosphere. The food I ordered was precisely made and full of flavor. Good wine selection to go with that. It was a fresh fine lunch and the bill wasn’t overwhelming.

I almost don’t want to give such high praise to this fine local gem, selfishly I don’t want to have to be put in a wait list :D I’ve been wanting to visit here for over two years and finally had the opportunity and I must say that it was one of the most rewarding dining experiences I’ve had in Europe. The wine selection is superb. We started with the shrimps, naan and chefs special (tuna tartare). DELICIOUS and FRESH. The Tuna was fresh and buttery, shrimps plump and juicy. The Naan, was great to soak up all the juices, sauces and butter. My wife had the scallops that were perfectly seared beyond Gordon Ramsey perfection. I had the chefs special (halibut), I’ll be honest I cannot recall exactly what was on my plate because I lacked the restraint after the first bite. Best lava cake ever. Hands down. Perfectly baked, not dry, not soggy, and with the perfect ratio of cake, ice cream and chocolate lava. The service and taste here is comparable to a Michelin star restaurant. The owner and staff show more pride and passion in their establishment than other top tier restaurants. They understand that the dining experience encompasses more than just food and service. Their knowledge and ingenuity should bring acclaim to Vilnius dining. Possibly even a Michelin star?

Exquisite fine dining breakfast experience. This review is focused on breakfast only. Breakfast at Gaspars sets a very high standard and I see it as a benchmark. Attention to details and high class service from the very moment you enter the restaurant. Professional and welcoming staff. The space is quite compact, but the interior design and decor with lots of natural light and pastel colours make it feel spacious and cozy at the same time. The furniture and the lighting is of top quality, comfortable and translates the spirit of this place which I would define as Modern Orient Express. Everything and everyone one is always at the optimal place. The menu is brief, but it captures all the depth and breadth of perfect breakfast. We were a group of four, so we had the chance to taste different dishes. Every dish has this orient signature to it, would it be a spice, texture or ingredients. Classic continental breakfast comes deconstructed on the plate featuring all the key elements with some editions, including avocado and chanterelles. Toasted bread comes in the form of naan. Steak breakfast was enhanced with spice and amazing smoked flavour. I loved the Masala omelette. It was so good. Topped with crab meat, delicate oyster souce and avocado mousse dressing. Portuguese cinnamon basil tea was a discovery for me. All dishes are beautifully decorated. I liked a silverware a lot, so stylish. I highly recommend this place for a special breakfast occasion, just make sure to make a reservation in advance. This place is booked out pretty fast.

The vegetarian offering was regrettably disappointing, characterized by an excessive and overpowering presence of salt. In contrast, the remaining culinary selections presented a more palatable experience. Service-wise, the waiter's demeanor was notably discourteous, and the professionalism with which we were attended to was lacking.

One of the best places in Vilnius old town. A-Z 5 star rating, excellent menu, dishes are full of flavor, great portion size 👌 Staff members are professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The place is super cozy, quite small indoors, they do however have a few tables outside during the summer, I would suggest booking in advance as they tend to be fully seated. If you are looking for a trendy stylish delicious dining experience, you wont be disappointed!

I would rate it 4,5 only because of the small tight place and the tables are very close to each other so you can be in between 2 conversations which makes it unpleasant. Food was good and very tasty and the staff is very pleasant.

We were traveling to Lithuania for a conference. We did have a hard time finding good food in Lithuania generally. This restaurant was recommended by a local. The restaurant is very beautiful. The staff was amazing. Our appetizers were amazing. We waited a long time for our main course...starving by the time it arrived. The food did not exceed our expectations.. it was good but not exceptional (to match the restaurant presentation). However.....the desserts were exceptional!!

(Translated by Google) Excellent for lunch and dinner on the corners of Vilnius Old Town. It was for lunch and the gnocci were so good that it was decided to come for dinner. The level of Rafla seems to me to be a comparison to the hardest places in Helsinki. The style of the restaurant is European cuisine combined with Indian spices. I haven’t usually digged about fusion flutes, but here it did. From the appetizers, the chicken dart and fried onion steak worked great. My own lamb with new potatoes had been fried perfectly with me and my partner’s salmon too. Quite 6/5 performance, I recommend for lunch and evening! On Friday night, the small restaurant was just full, and the main courses lasted a bit. This didn’t bother because the waiters kept the situation on the customer’s carts and apologized. The service is also top notch, relaxed and professional but not rushing. On weekend evenings at least you should book a table in advance, now the restaurant was full on Friday night all evening. (Original) Erinomainen lounas- ja illallismesta Vilnan vanhankaupungin nurkilla. Käytiin lounaalla, ja gnoccit oli niin hyviä että päätettiin tulla illalliselle. Raflan taso kestää minusta vertailun Helsingin kovatasoisimpiin paikkoihin. Ravintolan tyyli on eurooppalaista ruokaa yhdistettynä intialaisiin mausteisiin.

A bit off the most touristy areas in Vilnius, this indo-lithuanian restaurant offers an interesting fusion menu. You can seat either inside or outside: personally I prefer the latter, since their interiors look a bit too modern and aseptic to me. Service is good, even though waiting times between courses can be longer than usual, prices are in line with what you get. Bored with Cepelinai & Co? This is the place for you.

Tonight I and my sister went to Gaspars. Obviously, the expectations were high because this restaurant was recently named the best restaurant in Lithuania. Unfortunately, we only enjoyed 2 of 4 dishes. The chicken in the curry was so dry that I could hardly cut it with a given knife. I literally tore the chicken and at some point, I just gave up eating it. For such a highly-rated place overcooked chicken breast is an unforgivable mistake. Foie gras lacked texture for my taste, but it wasn't the chef's mistake, only a matter of opinion. The dishes looked really good, esthetic. Servis was slow, but it wasn't a problem, if food is good is worth it. Maybe it wasn't the chefs best day. And please open the AC next time.

We had the tasting menu and it was such an amazing experience, I wish everyone could try it. The chef came and presented every meal himself, explaining throughly about the origins of the ingredients and adding a fun little story here and there. The food in itself was superb, starting with the presentation and finishing with the taste. We even got a little extra dish, which was the best combination of tartare with caviar and herbs. Service was absolutely astounding, with the waiter being the right amount of present and giving us suggestions for the wine as well as letting us enjoy our dinner in peace. Highly recommend visiting this place, if you want an unforgettable evening in a beautiful restaurant.

Very nice and delicious food! Very modern and stylish interior. Very friendly service and following all rules. Only two points I did not like: starter chicken Tikka and Iberico Pork both very spicy! And why are you offering odd mineral water from UK?! That is not ok! We don’t need to 1. support UK 2. transport water that long way 3. you have better water in Lithuania! Even if it is there since the start of restaurant, I would prefer local products! Some times a change is good. Desert selection is not my favorite. 34€ for bottle of water, starter and main dish with this quality is perfect! Thanks for the wonderful dinner!

Usally I dont give bad reviews based on one visit, but I have to share my experience with you. I stopped for a lunch. I ordered lentil soup and homemade sausages with sweet potatos and cream sauce. So, the soup. It was more like a water with some spices. I think instant soup from the bag would taste better. The second meal was total disaster. First of all, portion was so small, it could barely feed a child. Second of all, it was one and a half sausage and sausage was a thumb size. Really? 1,5 half? for 7.5 EUR it should be at least 2. I didin't like the taste too, it was dry without good seasoning. I barely found few pices of sweet potato in my plate. So, my first and probably the last visit at this restaurant was terrible. If they serve good dinner, they should offer good lunch too, having in mind it costed me 11 EUR. I could only say, that the service was good, but the food was below avarage.

This is the best restaurant I've been to in Lithuania, by far. Had the tasting menu with wine pairing. It was a Lithuanian inspired dishes with with the soul of India. Many flavor combinations that I have never experienced before. Truly unique! Wine paring was really great. Service was impeccable and timing was perfect with really good explanations. Don't miss out on this place. I see them climbing to the top of all resturants in Lithuania.

It was a very great restaurant located in the lovely cosy place in the centre of Vilnius . I ordered a delicious soup with feta cheese and risotto. The whole concept reminded of modern Europe cuisine . I loved the portion size and the price . Very nice waiting staff . Would recommend!

😐 The staff was not friendly and seemed very unprofessional. I had to wait for at least 20 minutes before I placed my order, and the restaurant was not busy at all. Had to draw attention to myself to finally place an order. The food was mediocre, not worth the money. It was not served as described...
