Just over the road from the cathedral this restaurant is in a brilliant spot and although I never got round to sampling the food it was a great place for a relaxing drink. Sat outside it can be a bit noisy with the main road and the pedestrian lights constantly beeping, but at least there is plenty to watch as you relax with a drink. Outside there’s loads of seating with umbrellas aiding poor weather situations. The tables are large and despite being outside everywhere is clean. There’s some nice lighting in the evening which adds to the atmosphere. Some parts of the outdoor area are a real nice sun trap in the afternoon so don’t let the large number of umbrellas put you off if you’re looking to catch the rays. The staff are quick to greet on arrival and remained friendly throughout my visit. They are proactive at checking for additional drinks and are also able to recommend options as needed. Prices are brilliant and it was nice enough for me to return a couple a times during my visit to the city.
