It's a great place for seafood lovers in Vilnius. Although don't expect something very different or new here. They have a wide menu of choices, service is nice and attentive. Interior could be improved a lot. I would recommend sitting outside when they have terrace on Vilnius street open in summer evenings.

Awesome oysters, however, I wasn’t impressed with the waiting time for the oysters as it took more than 20 min and nobody even said that there might be a long wait for that. The customer could be informed in advance before asking the waiter why is it taking so long! :) P.S. it was great to try many different type of oysters :)

Located on a pedestrian touristic street, Selfish is a highly recommended bistro for everyone looking for seafood with a great value for money spent. Place is often busy, so make sure you do a reservation. Interior is simple, but well serves the purpose to accommodate many guests. Second room has no windows and asks for more light. Service is fast, staff are very friendly. Menu is easy to navigate. Prices are fair. Choice of drinks is not extensive, but satisfying. Only one champagne producer (M. Hostomme) in the wine list, but with a wide range to choose from. Basic Brut, blanc de blancs, zero dosage, millesime. Bubbles offering also includes cremants, franciacorta and ciders. All wines are very reasonably priced. Bottle of champagne Millesime 2009 BdB €59, ciders - €15. Whites and reds well match the food on the menu. I recommend choose from two sets of oysters (12pcs): Elite (€50) and standard (€33), or better order both )) We also ordered shrimps, octopus, tuna steak, fried fish balls and even Angus steak. All dishes taste great. Mains come with well thought through sides which include variety of elements. All products are fresh and masterfully cooked leaving no heavy feeling afterwards. I'm positively impressed and happy for locals in Vilnius for having such an appealing seafood venue. I understand there are two more Selfish restaurants in Kaunas and Palanga. I'm curious to check those on my next visit.

The food was of high quality, fresh, and absolutely delicious. From the starters, I particularly enjoyed the baked whelks and baby squid, which were both worth trying. For the main course, the grilled dover sole, grilled octopus, and surf n turf were outstanding and truly made my dining experience unforgettable. While the food was exceptional, I did notice a lack of personal attention from the waiters during our visit. However, this did not detract from the overall dining experience. Additionally, there were some wines and beers that were not available that day, which was a bit disappointing. Lastly, I was hoping to order the chocolate fondant, but unfortunately, it was not available. Despite these minor setbacks, I would highly recommend Selfish for their delicious food and overall great dining experience.

I am new to eating seafood, but the food is very tasty

I had tuna tartare as a starter and tuna steak for main dish. Tuna tartare was very fresh, melting in my mouth, bursting with flavors. Additionally, tuna steak was cooked medium to the perfection, very soft. Grilled veggies was all you needed with thus steak. Recommended! My family had fish soup, octopus starter and they were very tasty and left them happy. Only thing that could be thought to change is the how service take empty glass from the table in a second one finishes the drink- we ordered bottle of apple cider and 4 glasses - waitress poured it and when bottle was empty (5min since poured it all out) she asked if we want other bottle.

However, my only qualm was an unexpected charge of 0.50€ for a slice of lemon I requested for my cola. While it was a minor issue, especially in a restaurant where one typically spends between 50-70€ per person, it did slightly mar an otherwise excellent experience. In conclusion, despite the minor pricing concern, the seafood bistro delivered a gastronomic delight with its delectable dishes, inviting ambiance, and efficient service, making it a worthwhile dining destination for seafood enthusiasts. P.S: Don’t forget to try the creme brûlée.

The food was delicious. I tried all these different entrees and I wasn't disappointed. Their natural oysters were from different countries. I had three from Ireland, Portugal and France and my favourite was the one from Portugal. Everything was so appetizing and fresh. Great atmosphere and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable with the menu. Even their desserts and coffee was amazing. I recommend this place.

As a mussels fan visited this place in Vilnius and was a bit disappointed. The service and waitress was very attentive, but has spoken some bad things about the owners when answering our reclamation. It not really appropriate and lacks style. The problem with a paper towel found in the mussels was solved elegantly with an excuse and free desert. No complaints about that. Wine list is good, but there are other wines or other vintages which is not written. We got another vintage without even informing us. Mussels are nicely presented but prepared on the same base and the additional sauce is added on them according to the order. It is a shame because the additional cream sauce in our case was added slightly warm and landed partly on the shell only. The pot was not hot and the dish got cold in 10 minutes. After last months mussel tastings in Brussels and Bretagne this was a disappointment.

Great service, the waiters are pleasant and attentive to detail. The food itself is really nice, although a bit on a pricey side but you wouldn't have to expect anything different for a good piece of fish in the Old Town. Regarding drinks, they pretty much don't have anything non-alcoholic that isn't beer but the waitress was kind to offer me unlimited water which is a rarity in Lithuania.

Vibrant place and quite busy on the weekends. Although the food seemed fresh & well presented, some dishes disappointed. The taste/quality of food does not correspond to the price. If we compare with pretty good french or Italian/other modern kitchen restaurant in Europe I would say it is okay but average. Food evaluation: Tuna tartar - 7 out of 10. Octopus croquettes - 0 🤢 Tuna steak - 8 out of 10 Oysters - 7 out of 10 (my one had plenty of shell pieces in it). Conclusion: not the worst but not the best food; starters are overpriced especially oysters. Some famous restaurants in central London doesn’t charge €6 per oyster and leave pieces of a shell in it 😵‍💫

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. I ordered two appetizers as my dinner: the first is the assorted seafood appetizer and the second one is baby squid. As a seafood lover, these two appetizers made my day! The prizes of the food themselves are affordable too. Admittedly, wine is a bit pricy. Otherwise, this is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to considering the restaurant interior, food quality, and pricing. If you love seafood, this is a MUST go-to restaurant for your visit in Vilnius.

We celebrated our Anniversary dinner date at Selfish Bistro Vilnius, I must say it was a pleasant experience, we were welcomed by a young gentleman who goes by the name Kipras,he was friendly and professional. 😀 The food was awesome, compliments to the chef's who made the delicious dishes. Overall the whole experience was 10/10,I recommend the restaurant to everyone who is a seafood lover.

Ammmm. A bit dissapointment. Octopus was overcooked: very chewy. Croquettes were 90% of potatoes and tasteless. Snails were good. Lamb chops - 11/10. Amazing. For the staff: please don’t stare at customers while they are eating, it feels like you want to grab food from our mouths :D give some privacy. Staff wasn’t rude at all, but… too much staff.
