Nothing special for the price you pay. Menu is overpriced even though is called a restaurant buyer service is not like in a restaurant. Old fashioned staff, the area itself. We got t plain table with no table cloths and stuff. 14€ entrance to the tower way too expensive .

Despite the variable reviews, we really enjoyed the TV tower.......and (shock after reading other reviews) even found the service in the restaurant to be friendly and helpful! It was interesting to go up to floor 20 - the viewing platform - which offers really fantastic views across Vilnius and beyond, and then down to the cafe where we had beer and chips as Vilnius passed by around us, on the rotating seated area.

Located quite far in suburbs, so from the top of the tower your are left to view the Vilnius soviet time suburbs. Entrance is expensive- 14 eur. There are no view platform or any attractions. At the top, there are only quite expensive restaurant with hard 90s vides. Totally not worth the entrance cost.

I love all the TV and observation towers. It's a great opportunity to see the city from a different perspective. There is an observation deck, a restaurant and other service floors. It is not a problem to get here by taxi from the city, it is about €7. Currently, part of the tower is being repaired, so the lobby is partially closed.

To get to the restaurant on floor 19 the the three of us had to pay a whopping 42€ to enter the TV tower! The views are great from the revolving restaurant. The menu is ok., not overly expensive. For two courses each (no dessert), and with 6 glasses of the cheapest wine and two beers the bill came to 114€. So, with a taxi to the restaurant and a taxi back to our apartment (12€), with the entry fee of 42€, and the bill for 114€ I spent a total of 168€. But it was not really worth it. Also, you have to wait a long time for the food to be brought to your table. Perhaps during the week when it is quieter the food will arrive quicker. I don't know. And you know the worst thing? The revolving restaurant made me feel like I was at sea. A feeling I didn't like. At a medium priced restaurant in town I would have spent around 100 €. Food here was ok though. We had starters and then for mains I had a beef burger and the other two had simple chicken dishes. And that's it. You can make up your own mind as to whether it is worth visiting. Bon appetite!

The tower has a great view over all of Vilnius, which would make it a top notch place to visit if it wasn't dragged so far down by the atrocious service received at both the reception and the restaurant. In the entire hour rotation of the restaurant, we only barely got our drinks and were never re-approached to place an order for food. Even when attempting to flag down someone from the waitstaff, they seemed oblivious and simply kept walking. Then, once we'd had enough of being ignored, we tried to access the outdoor observation area (which we thought we had already paid for downstairs when we asked for it) and were charged an extra 5 euro before we would be admitted. Once we paid the additional charge we were directed to wait near the elevators and informed that someone would be by shortly to take us to the outdoor area. After waiting there for more than 20 minutes, the bartender happened to walk out from the staff area and seemed to forget that he had told us to wait there. Finally the escort from the ground floor arrived, but even she was unaware that we were waiting for access to the outdoor observation deck (likely due to the complacency of the bartender). After another 15 minutes, the escort returned to collect us and another waiting party and we were finally able to access the outdoor observation area. In short, if you decide to visit the TV Tower, skip the restaurant section altogether as it is certainly not worth the headache and wasted time. But I must admit that the views of the surrounding countryside and city are quite worth the price of admission.

Amazing panorama of Vilnius, possibility to walk "on the edge" with a special equipment or outside in a closed terace. Restaurant inside is also nice to visit. The restaurant is turning around so the panorama view is always nicely changing. Always great to come here with guests from abroad.

178 / 5 000 Результаты перевода star_border I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend the pleasant with the useful. You can enjoy an overview of Vilnius from above, and then spend a good time in a restaurant located at an altitude of 160 meters.

The food at the restaurant was very good, I had the pork shoulder with fry, green beans and green pepper sauce. The real surprise was the cheesecake, even better than others I've had in New York. I liked the ambient and the view of the city is great, it's nice to talk about it whilst having a good meal. Everything about it was good.

The best way to see Vilnius from above is to visit the Vilnius TV Tower. It is currently undergoing reconstruction in some areas but it does not affect the visiting public. From what I read, the reconstruction and upgrade started last year 2021 and should be finished by 2024. So it is expected that the TV tower would be modernized. As of now, it has the vibes of the 80’s, old furnishings and interior. There’s a restaurant above, just perfect for some snacking but not a great place to dine. There is an entrance fee to get to the top, in addition to the food or drinks you will have at the restaurant which is the only viewing point as of this time.

Nice views over the surrounding area but hard to distinguish the old town of Vilnius. The lady at the register was friendly but absolutely not efficient. People who had bought tickets beforehand online were still asked to join the same queue. Parking really is an issue as there are only a few parking spots available. On the open platform you have plenty of space and you can spend as much time as you like.

It was a good experience, I bought 2 tickets for 19 floor(9€ each) and 2 for 20 floor(16€ each). Standing on the top of the tower is amazing experience but the cable hand is not included in this price so keep in mind you have to pay 34 Euros more to do that. Restaurant is amazing food is not cheap but not expensive as well. Worth visiting

We went on a Monday in September and there were no queues. The entrance ticket to the restaurant cost €11 for an adult, but the scenery is great! The section by the window of the restaurant rotates slowly around the entire tower and, at least on a sunny day, the tower can be seen several tens of kilometers away. You can eat in the restaurant and enjoy the scenery. In the lower hall of the tower, you can see the exhibition of the events of 1991, when the Soviet troops attacked the TV tower.

When we went, there was construction, so it didn't turn, and the weather wasn't the best for viewing, but it was still a great experience. For Americans, this is similar to the Space Needles in Seattle or San Antonio. The food was good and much less expensive than the American counterparts. Sit back, enjoy the meal, and watch the scenery. The staff was helpful and multilingual and the menu had English.

Not bad but expensive. Nice view from the restaurant, great food but portion sizes were not so great, and the entrance cost €14 which is expensive just to get to the restaurant on the elevator.

Super cool place to visit and to see the view. Come in the afternoon/evening. So you will see it in both daylight and when its uplighted. Food was mediocre and the staff needs to take the course in gow to treat customers from the beginning. Just buy a beer or glas of whine and enjoy the view and save the money for a real restaurant.

It was middle of the day so quite empty. Staff very nice and service professional. Great wine and desert selection. Totally recommend visiting. Please note- choose sunny or dry day to capture the beauty of the city as I went there in a rainy day.

Interesting place to visit in summer. The floor was under reconstruction but it didn’t ruin the impression. It was extremely windy, not sure I would enjoy it in winter. The restaurant is nice and food is tasty but it’s old style.

Arrived at 11am unfortunately an IT issue ment we could not go up the tower till 16:00! Will review later. But the grounds the tower is set in are lovely spent 2 hours wandering the woods and general area. Very nice. Can’t wait to return later to go up tower.

Amazing view! 360 degrees view of the city is awesome. However, it was cloudy and rainy so we were there like 10 minutes and paid 16 euros for it. In the restaurant the service was weird, when we arrived the waiter asked if we are going to eat or not. When we said that we want only to drink something he immediately lost interest on us and went away. All the tables had the sigh “reserved “ on them so we couldn’t seat. Funny since you actually pay 14e to go to the restaurant and 16 to go to the top floor and restaurant. The elevator needs activation by card of the employees so sometimes you’ll just wait for someone to be able to go away. Also it is around 5km from the old town so it takes you some time to walk there and the route isn’t very straightforward since you pass some parks. If you go by car, it’s a completely different route then but also a bit far away. I would say it is not a must visit place.

The television tower has an amazing view over Vilnius and it's surroundings. When I was there the sky was clear and helped me to have a better view. The observation deck is located at the nineteenth floor of the tower. There is no open space observation deck. At the nineteenth floor, there is restaurant. It's tables and chairs are put on a rotating platform. While you sit, order and have the food, the platform rotates and you can the 360 degrees of the surrounding areas of the tower. There are some spaces between the tables which you can stay and see outside if you don't want to order the food and use restaurant.

  • 4/5 Justas M. 2 years ago on Google
When weather are good it's nice to visit to take some food and look around. Although when we were visiting platform which must rotate wasn't working. Also if your afraid of heights - it's not a case here, it doesn't feels like it.

Took definitely too long to buy the tickets and with 9/12 euros it wasn't the cheapest tbh. The point is in the restaurant you usually would even spend more by ordering at least some drinks...so all in all they have a great business model which makes your wallet a little bit sad. The view is quite good with the routating system, I liked that. The windows weren't that clean sadly dunno how often they clean them.

Of course, the best views in all of Vilnius! 360 degrees spinning tables let you enjoy the view of all of Vilnius sitting at one table! The tower is under renovation but the restaurant itself is not part of the renovation right now. People talk that the food is not so good and way too expensive but we wanted to try it for ourselves. And we were surprised! The food was really good and tasty. We had beef steak with hemp seed - pepper crust served with grilled vegetables, steak chips and plum sauce and roasted salmon with mixed salad leaves, courgettes, peppers, cherry tomatoes and orange sauce. For the dessert, we tried hot crispy waffles. Everything was delicious, the steak is the winner of course! Would love to come back after the renovation of the restaurant itself because it bit outdated and loud!

Really cool piece of Soviet architecture. Rotating Restaurant at the top is a fun experience that offers good food at reasonable prices. They views across the city are also breathtaking. Well worth a visit!

Table service too slow, courteous staff, interior design left over from the 90's which gave the impression of being dirty as a place Too many stickers attached to the windows prevented me from looking outside Too many stickers one would be enough for every 3 windows. Non-traditional food. If I go to Lithuania I go there to eat local food, not food I can find in my own country.

  • 5/5 Thomas James B. 1 year ago on Google
Really cool revolving restaurant with a rotating deck to soak in the views. It's a bit off outside, doens't look much like theres going to be anything there, but just follow the signs and all is good. I just had a beer and left after about 30 mins so can't speak for the food. But the views are great and the story of the tower (and the 1991 Russian invasion) is cool.

Old tower from Sowjets and a bit creapy sound in the 360° moving Restaurant. Wonderful view over Vilnius and landscape. Food in the restaurant was excellent! Prices are really ok. Latte did not taste good and cheesecake really nice! Ticket is 8€ weekdays.

I visited Vilnius TV tower during my trip to Lithuania. The tower is the tallest structure in the country and offers a spectacular view of the city and its surroundings. The tower also has a museum that tells the story of the fight for freedom in 1991, when 14 civilians died defending the tower from Soviet troops. It was a very moving and informative experience, and I learned a lot about the history of Lithuania. I highly recommend visiting Vilnius TV tower if you are in the area. It is a symbol of courage and resilience, and a great place to enjoy the beauty of Vilnius.

  • 4/5 Steve E. 8 months ago on Google
Incredibly significant historical site in the history of Lithuania, in which ordinary citizens defended the television tower from an attempt by the Soviet military to control the news. Unfortunately there isn't very much information available about this event to be seen here, so you should learn the history first and then visit this site.

A stunning place to visit! You can see all the Vilnius from above. There is a thrilling attraction to walk on the roof of the restaurant with the rope. Basically sitting on the edge. The restaurant offeres delicios dishes and drinks, and has moving tables. Definitely a must-visit place!

We shared a mixed platter and enjoyed some an Aperol spritz and Prosecco. The platform takes an hour to complete a 360 degree revolution and costs €11 to visit. It’s set among some brutalist Soviet era housing blocks but feels quite safe and is easy to reach. A must see destination with some chilling recent history.

The moving floor at the top is a good gimmick too, you can sit for a meal (great food, ok prices, slightly slow service) and get a great panorama of all of Vilnius whilst there. Plenty of free parking around too. I'd say its a must visit if in vilnius

Friends hello! I highly recommend visiting the TV tower! The view is stunning! Plus you are at a height of 160 meters in the restaurant. And in the restaurant the tables turn so you have the opportunity to fully view the landscapes of Vilnius! I really liked it! I think you will have fun too)) I advise you to buy tickets through the booking (so much cheaper)

  • 4/5 Hamza C. 3 years ago on Google
Very interesting place to visit! With the famous restaurant that makes a 360 degrees rotation in 55 min, which makes you enjoy the whole view of the city while tasting your dishes! Make sure to book your place before because it's always full due to high demand! You can also visit it without eating at the restaurant, you have a ticket to go to the specific floor, with desks between tables where you can enjoy the place without seating! So even if the restaurant is full you can enjoy the view 😊👍
