If you are a fan of Frank Zappa like I am. Don't hesitate. Probably the only and most beautiful statue of true genius! Lovely sourondings, Vilinus is a nice city to visit, so don't be a dancing fool, just come and see!

Quite boring. Don't really get the hype of the memorial.. I think it's just to trick the Zappanians to come to Vilnius. Even tho it's a nice city to visit, this stop is not worth it. Nice details on the facial expressions. E for Effort!

Surreal monument to the maverick mercurial musician Frank Zappa in a nondescript location in Vilnius. Although he never visited the city or indeed Lithuania the monument to him serves as a symbol of the country's newfound freedom in the early 1990s.

Visited as we were walking back to Old Town after visiting street art of Frida Kahlo. Need to read about Zappa. Some street art around memorial. If short of time, spend time elsewhere.

There are many hidden gems in Vilnius and the bust of Frank Zappa is one of them. It is more than just a simple statue but a symbol of defiance. Where a statue of Stalin once stood now stands a bust of Frank Zappa. You have to do your own research and read the story first yourself, but, Zappa became a symbol of freedom in post Soviet Lithuania and is just another fun thing to see. While there explore the neighborhood with an open mind and enjoy.

Definitely a statue that is worth seeking out if you have time and if you are a fan of Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention!

The statue of Frank Zappa is hidden away behind a small parking lot, close to one of the more central streets in Vilnius. What is there to say? It is Frank Zappa. It is surprisingly tall, but aside from that, there is nothing much to it. There was a nice mural behind it though.

It's not a good idea to come here at night if you don't have a good camera because the statue is about 2,5m high (about 9 feet)

This is clearly the superior Frank Zappa statue (compared to Baltimore's painful excuse for a Frank Zappa statue), I love Frank Zappa and Statues, so you can imagine how excited I am about visiting this!!! (Much more excited than visiting Baltimore's painful excuse for a Frank Zappa statue)

The memorial is a little off the main road beside a residential parking lot. The story behind the memorial is interesting and worth a photo stop.
