A very nice memorial of the Baltic Way or also called Chain of Freedom, which was built with a support from many people whose names are tagged on the bricks of this wall. 30 years ago (as of writing) approximately two million people joined their hands to form a human chain spanning almost 700 kilometres across the three Baltic states – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, which were considered at the time to be constituent republics of the Soviet Union. The nations that did everything to be free and now are independantly and proudly chasing up and aligning with most developed nations arround the globe.

Good idea to memorize very important milestone in the road to freedom of Lithuania. Also nicely demonstrated "thank you" for all supporters of this idea by including a brick of a supporter/sponsor of this monument.

After quite the hunt I managed to find this sight. The wall is a beautiful memorial to the Baltic Way Movement. The movement contributed to the independence of the Baltic countries in which 2 million people held hands consecutively forming a human chain from Vilnius, to Riga, and to Tallinn.

Find a spot where you fit in and take a picture :) it's not difficult! Loved that place and it reminds of the history of independence, which was very important for the baltic states

An interesting memorial, worth a look. Some of the bricks on this memorial has names engraved. Those names are of the people who helped to build this wall by purchasing custom bricks. This wall casts very interesting shadows trough the holes, when the light is right.

(Translated by Google) The fairway, perhaps a beautiful monument to young people who have no idea that we, those who have represented independence, have neither freedoms nor unity, but one of our belly straps and our power over us ... Freedom, and is it possible .... (Original) Laives kelias, gal grazus monumentas jaunimui, kuris supratimo neturi, kad nepasekeme mes,tie ,kurie atstovejo nepriklausomybe, nei laisves, nei vienybes,o is vienos siknaskyles islindom,o i kita musu valdzia mus ivare....Papostringaukim,koks saldus zodis-Laisve,o ar tai imanoma... .

(Translated by Google) The most amazing image for me. I admire. Such a real and vivid memory. After all, you will never see those colors - yellow, green, red. And now right in front of your eyes. Please. Love ... Homeland. (Original) Man pats nuostabiausias vaizdas. Žaviuosi. Toks realus ir gyvas atsiminimas. Juk kažkada nepraregesi tų spalvų- geltona, žalia, raudona. O dabar tiesiai prieš akis. Prašom. Mylėk... Tėvynę.
