What an incredible place! A perfect way to get to know Lithuania as a tourist or even as a local. The design is real modern and interactive, personnel is helpful and friendly. You will need around 2 hours interact with the exhibition, yet it will be worth it. It is sooo interesting. One more thing - you will get to go into the presidential complex. Oh and its for free.

It's an open secret gem located in the heart of Vilnius. The building is actually a palace, but has super modern high tech surroundings. The center has three floors, as there is no ground floor in Lithuania the ground floor which is actually under the entrance is 1st floor and preserved for Geography, Cities, Residents and Coat of Arms of Lithuania. Has a nice section for memorial gifts received from numerous World countries as well. The entrance, in our case 2nd floor is specialized in history of Lithuania and the palace itself. Right at the desk in the entrance you get your companion tablet which enables you interact with the components of museum and there is also a coffee machine as well as a water dispenser. You can take the stairs or use lift if necessary to reach the 3rd floor, aka the political education floor. If you manage to figure out how puzzles work you can have a fun time discovering your political tendencies and also can watch the clips of famous Lithuanian people. A must see if you are staying in the city for longer than 2 weeks.

Extremely innovative museum, with huge quantity of information about Lithuanian history and President institution. Free of charge. Additionally to this you can look in the inside park of President palace

Great to see a refreshing take on abstract art, from historical photography to the capitals abstract paintings with some video history thrown in. Amazing building architecture, it really stands out. Great couple of hours spent. Don't worry if your lugging bags around there's a great place to store them. Translation app available, tours and useful information as well as a small library for all your learning needs.

At MO one can visit exhibitions, see film screenings, take part in educational activities, attend concerts and events which are tailored to all age groups. The museum is open every day (except Tuesday) from 10 am to 8 pm.

Very nice place, big square with fontain and sedbags to relax and chill, and lots of info inside the centre about Lithuanian management stages and history. Unfortunately not all info can be provided in English.

(Translated by Google) Non-museum lighting. The paintings are scattered, reflections in a bag to watch. The ratio of price and exhibits during one exhibition is not Lithuanian. I understand that a commercial museum is nothing to hang out with ... But you can visit once. It is a pity to give 10 ⭐, but something is missing ... Although it is good that private initiatives are emerging, albeit nlb. The solution? I think we need not focus too much - in the sense that I think the problem is with the exhibition of art, not with art or space. Maybe too much interactivity that distracts, order that crumbles in space. I felt messy. But it’s a matter of “taste” apparently. To whom it is unacceptable, let it not go. Hold on !!! Kam nepriimtina tas tegu neina. Laikykites!!! 🙃

A one of a kind! This museum is the full package. The cafe is amazing with a creative and lively selection. The exhibits are small and easily done with an app that describes the pieces and the curators' thinking. I was so surprised and delighted to find something of this quality in Vilnius. Top notch quality and very patron friendly.

(Translated by Google) A modern museum where even children receive tablets to scan various museum locations. And the courtyard of the presidency is not visited every day! (Original) Modernus muziejus kur net vaikai gauna planšetes skirtas skanuoti įvairias muziejaus vietas. O prezidentūros kiemelis ir ne kasdien aplankomas!

What a complete joke! They could have pushed more for the deconstructivism angle and make it not only about pop culture but expand it. The venue is interesting but they charged 3 Euros although I had the Vilnius pass. It's not worth it 3 Euro as it stands! The exhibits are very few, they tried to make them entertaining but failed even more in what their mission should have been, namely to present the evolution of Lithuanian identity through art after the Soviets. Sad, save your money and go somewhere else

An interesting place if you're into history, art, politics and hands-on activities. Friendly staff and versatile exhibitions. Everything is in Lithuanian, although everyone is provided with free tablets to use for an augmented reality English experience. Taking into consideration it's a free museum — strongly recommended to visit!

Attractive, interesting and suitable for families. Even kids below 5y could find something interesting here, but more suitable for 5+. If you come on weekdays be prepared. You need to call and register yourself. We did it 10 minutes before arrivals and that was ok for centre manager. There was no other tourist in day time, maybe in weekends it's more crowded. Augmented reality, QR style codes, translations on tablet PCs, everything is modern and well done.

This is a free museum that shows how the current democratic state of Lithuania came into being as well as how citizens can/should participate. Goes into the history of Lithuania, it's struggles with various invaders , the fighters both physical & ideological who finally over came the ruling state ( russian) to set up the country & political landscape of modern Lithuania. Sounds boring but in fact it is a very well thought out modern museum that utilises to great effect both classic exhibits as well as some augmented reality to enhance your visit . A lot of the exhibits have a sort of QR code next to them , which when scanned with the tablet ( supplied at no cost during your visit ) provide not only translation for non Lithuanian speakers but extra details & audio / visual displays . Some of the exhibits I found extremely moving ( The Baltic Highway for example) A very good museum , quite unlike any I have been to before .

A huge minus of this place, that there no English. It's cool place for show how a country work. And was incredible for me, that this exhibition work in President Palace. Wow. Updated: I didn't know, that there possible take some 'tablet' with translated content. I don't recommend come to there in 30 minutes before closing as I did.

My visit in the Centre for Civil Education was perfect. First of all the reception was just great. Mattew (that's his first name in American version) who welcomed me was incredibly nice, friendly and made you feel comfortable. Then the tour is very interesting for tourists because almost everything is in English. Everything is interesting. So if you are passing by don't hesitate to go and have a look.

This museum is small but impressive. While we visited there were two exhibits, one which was "meh", and one which was one of the best exhibits I have ever seen. The exhibits mixed sculpture, paintings, video, sound, lightening effects, and more to create an immersive experience that makes you really feel the pieces. I loved it, and would say this is a must visit while in Vilnius!

Staff is kind and helping. They also offer online audio guides, earphones (regular, usb-c and iPhone plugs) as well as tablets with audio guides. The only niusance that comes to my mind was the extremely bright light in the elevator (or so it felt after spending an hour in the gloomy exhibition space - bright light reminded me a scene from the Bruce Almighty movie).

(Translated by Google) I visited for the first time, my friend for the second time. I liked it, because all the exhibits corresponded very much to the life of those times, I listened to all the stories with headphones, so there was no need to read descriptions. There were a lot of young people with young children. The friend didn't like it because there were too few exhibits compared to the previous visit. Real truth, because there is still a lot of free space for other exhibits. (Original) Lankiausi pirmą kartą,draugė antrą.Man patiko, nes visi eksponatai labai atitiko tų laikų gyvenimą, visus pasakojimus klausiausi su ausinėmis, todėl nereikėjo skaitinėti aprašų.
