😠 We booked a tour for our first day in Vilnius, with the understanding that we'd be notified if it was cancelled due to lack of customers. We were never notified of anything and waited at the meeting point, but no guide ever showed up. They wasted our time, and when you're trying to explore new place... People often mention tour, Vilnius, guide, time, city, history, great, walking, recommend, Lithuanian,

Dear Ugnė, Thank you so much for interesting excursion and sharing these nice photos! Only one thing that made me a little bit sad, unfortunately, after our 1st Old Town excursion I went to Etno Dvaras to have my lunch before our 2nd Alternative Tour, but TRADICINIAI, ĮDARYTI MĖSA potatoes served me with time delay. So, when I came to Gediminas monument but it was to late. It's my false. But anyway, I made a good walking tour after your by myself. With visited Higher Castle Hill and after that went near the river and to another bank to explore new city in big circle trip. One interesting thing, what I liked in Vilnius - is cool combination of quite and clean streets, old architecture & new high-tech buildings, and wild nature just in the center of the city. So atmospheric.

We booked a tour for our first day in Vilnius, with the understanding that we'd be notified if it was cancelled due to lack of customers. We were never notified of anything and waited at the meeting point, but no guide ever showed up. They wasted our time, and when you're trying to explore new places you need all the time you can get. Would not recommend. You can very easily use Google to plan your own walking tour of Vilnius, no guide necessary.

Our guide, Lukas, was great! He told us stories that are hard to find in Google. Although, it was quite cold, we enjoyed our 2,5h walk. Recommend everyone who is visiting Vilnius for a couple of days!

What a great experience, I did both tours, historical centee with Guada and Undiscovered Vilnius with Laura and both were excellent, they had lot of knowledge of the city and provided great insights which helped me understand more about Vilnius and Lithuanian history. Well deserves tip!

We went on both the old town and the undiscovered tour. Both were brilliant, the guides were very knowledgeable and showed us parts of Vilnius we wouldn't have seen otherwise. They're both around two hours with lots of walking so wear comfortable shoes! Highly recommend doing one of these if you're visiting.

We had an excellent tour with Remigijus who was a super competent and also kind guide. I especially liked that he talked not only about history but also about current Lithuanian politics. He also took the time to recommend restaurants, books, and movies. Because of Remigijus I am now convinced of the concept of free walking tours.

This was such a fantastic tour to be on to kick off my first time in Vilnius. I took the Old Town + Uzupis free tour (it was tips-based). Our tour guide Arminas, who spoke really fluent English, was very upbeat about teaching us the history and quirkiness of different historical landmarks. We also got a lot of chances to ask him questions while walking from location to location. After the tour, he stayed on to connect with us and give us restaurant and further sightseeing suggestions. All in all, it was such a great experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone if it's your first time in Vilnius!!

We had a perfect tour with Vilus. He was very kind, funny and he’s such a good story teller. The tour takes 2,5 hrs but it’s very worth it. We really liked Vilnius and that’s also because of the guide. Thanks!

I participated to two different tours, the Classic Old Town and the Undiscovered Vilnius. They were both very interesting, full of nice historical info and tips about the city. Thanks to our amazing guides, I could discover Vilnius in a better way!

Great way to learn about some of the wonderful history of Vilnius while seeing a few of its famous and sometimes infamous sights. The guide was very knowledgeable, entertaining the group with various stories and legends throughout the tour.

One of the best walking tours I have ever had. Arminas (also called Harry Potter) was very knowledgable and charismatic, which made it the perfect combination to make sense of Lithuanian history and its relationship with Europe and the rest of the world. He’ll make the group integrate very quickly with his style and will give you recommendations for all kind of tourist attractions. Highly recommended. Thank you again, Arminas!

Tolle Tour mit super Guide. Interessante Orte entdeckt, abseits der Touristenrouten. Viele Hintergrundinfos zu Orten, Sprache, Kultur und Kulinarik.

Ugné, our guide, was first-rate! Very knowledgeable about Old Vilnius and Lithuanian history.

The tour was almost 3 hours long. We walked quite a bit and learned a lot about the Lithuanian history and symbols. It was raining for the most of the time, the guide was trying to shelter us from the rain which was very kind.

I can highly recommend the Vilnius Free Walking Tours. Both the Old City one and Undiscovered one. Very friendly guides who were happy to answer additional questions.

We had an amazing tour around the city with our knowledgeable and friendly tour guide Ugne! We walked through and around every important sight near the historic center of Vilnius ( cathedral square , presidential palace , Uzupis , university , old town etc). It was totally worth our time! Thank you Ugne! Hope to see you again sometime!

What a great tour. Our tour guide Laura was knowledgeable, friendly and made the tour great even though it was snowing the whole time. It took us to all the sites and we learnt a lot about the history and culture of the city. Can’t fault it.

Definitely go for this! I enjoyed my time with the group, we were able to visit many places. I was able to get to know the history of the city and the nation even more. The pace of the walk was just right for me, not fast not slow.

The Undiscovered Free Tour was great! Very informative and fun, even on a rainy day. It's great that this alternative tour is also offered on a regular basis

Violeta, our tour guide, was amazing! :) 100% recommended! Our tour took 2.5 hours, and we saw most of the city center highlights. No offence to anyone, but if you can, please tip decently. It’s a lot of effort and time put into it, don’t be cheap. :) I was quite sad to see groups of 3 people giving a 5 eur banknote for someone’s almost 3 hours of work…

👍👍 We went on the free walking tour with Tadas in Vilnius and it was a great experience. We had no knowledge of Lithuania and now we know some very interesting facts about the capital city and the history of Lithuania. The tour was done at good pace and we had time to see a lot of sites. Tadas was real...

😠 This is NOT hopon-hopof! We were informed that this is hopon-hopof, but it turned out it was not. We therfor asked for a refund, but didn't get any. Women also pay more than men, it is discrimination. They informed us that they do business this way, discrimination is usual.😱
